Solid, great work, and fast. I needed an alignment after changing some suspension components and new tires and they were able to get me in an out within an hour. My steering wheel was slightly off center from swapping out and they were able to recenter it as well. Will be going back for my other vehicles.

We take all of our company vehicles to Big Reds and Benny and his staff always provide honest and reliable service at a fair price. Today we took my step moms 2000 Durango in and I asked Benny to go through it like it was his moms car. He did and the work needed was more than reasonably priced. Great service, reasonable prices. Doesn’t get better than that.

I was in town looking at a car to buy. I dropped in for a pre purchase inspection and they worked with me to get it done that morning before I had to catch a flight back. The mechanics found the source of a sound the previous owner disclosed, but had not been able to figure out. I wasnt sure what to expect, but I was very happy with the inspection and service.

Singing the praises of Big Reds Automotive.I took my Hyundai to the dealership for an oil change and asked that they (1) adjust or repair my dome light so that it would come on when I opened the door, (2) replace my thrashed wiper blades, and (3) check my brakes which were making a distressing noise when I stepped on the pedal. Well, they changed the oil, tried to sell me a couple of hundred dollars worth of stuff I was pretty sure I didnt need, and failed to address ANY of my 3 requests.I scoured YELP to find a shop that I felt I as a single woman could trust; and the reviews for Big Reds Automotive sounded to me like the real deal. - Next oil change I took my car to Big Reds and again made my 3 requests. When my car was returned to me the dome light was working perfectly, new wiper blades working perfectly, and NO MORE MYSTERIOUS, SCARY BRAKE NOISE. (It turns out the rear brakes needed to be cleaned and adjusted. Really! The dealership couldnt have figured that out?)At Big Reds I was treated with kindness and respect. Ken did not try to sell me any services I didnt need. All my questions were answered and all my problems were successfully dealt with. Everything was done at a very reasonable price.Im so happy to have found a shop I have real confidence in. And of course I am recommending Big Reds Automotive to all my friends.

A wonderful experience all around. He not only honored the over the phone quote, but gave a discount as well for not being grumpy! The receptionist was very nice, the waiting area comfortable and kid friendly, with a nice dog and a puzzle to pass the time, which wasnt long at all. Happy to bring my car to good people and a good place! He is also very knowledgeable about many types of cars as well.

Ive been a Big Reds customer longer than Ive known my husband so at least 10 years. This small family owned business has the best customer service with honest, fair prices. Over the years Ken and Naomi have become family friends! My husband and I have sent many customers to Reds and have always left feeling very well taken care of. My favorite is that Im always greeted with hugs and that my kids know Naomi will always try to feed them.

Ken absolutely made my day today!! Thank you so much!! He changed my headlight and asked to charge only $20 as opposed to the $200 I was quoted from Tires Express!! In addition, he helped me remove a lot of scratches from my car even though I didnt ask him to and he didnt want to charge for that at all!! Amazing man and service, I will always go to this place for any car issue that I have in the future, no doubt. I highly recommend this place for the knowledge, kindness, down-to-earthness, and excellent service and the job done quickly. This is my third time coming here (first two times were for oil changes and also had excellent experiences) and I cant think of a single bad thing to say. Great place to take a Sprinter. I thought my repair was going to be a lot more expensive, but Ken took the time to make sure the right part was getting fixed. He saved me a couple grand, and my sprinter is running great. Good hourly rate too.

At Big Reds i never felt that way, they are probably one of the last HONEST mechanic shops around. He has all the latest equipment at his shop and his mechanics are all personable and willing to go that extra mile to do the job right the first time even if it takes a bit longer. Naomi runs the office like a fine swiss watch and stays on top of all the assorted paperwork needed these days to run a great shop. Bruno is the serene one and he was happy to sit by me and keep me company while I enjoyed my coffee and paper while relaxing in the waiting area.

After reading all these great yelp reviews I was really hoping Red would be my go-to mechanic for the used Sprinter I just bought. Unfortunately, after my first experience with them, this will not be the case.Quick version: for $1500 I got slow service, sub-par communication, bad work, and they even managed to make one problem worse. I then had to fix the problem myself.Long version: Reds had my Van for over two weeks. I understand they are busy and this wouldnt be a big deal if they had good customer service....But I didnt hear any updates from them for almost 10 days. I called to touch base and didnt receive a callback. I was told it would be done on a certain day only to have that be pushed back twice. I understand things get hectic and bad communication happens. I could over look it if the work they did was great. Unfortunately......the work was not great. They stripped the threads on one of the glow plugs they removed and that added $200 to the bill to rethread the cylinder. I know glow plug removal can be tricky but they also botched my radiator repair.I told them I had a slow leak that happens when I drive long distances and they replaced some hoses. After I got the van back I went to L.A. and the leak happened at a faster rate! I borrowed a pressure tester from Autozone an did a test on the radiator (something they said they did and charged me $66.50 for) I found 3 leaks from hoses that needed to be clamped tighter. One of these was from a new hose they put on. They made the leak worse and I question if I needed new hoses at all(which cost $164.46). I bet the original problem was just the other two loose hoses. After tightening all the hoses my coolant level has been holding fine. All in all I gave Reds $1,505.36 and for that amount of cash I expected a much better experience.

At last an HONEST mechanic!!!! I recently took my car to Big Reds with a printout from a Honda dealership outlining work they said I needed to have done. Among services I supposedly needed were front and rear brakes. I got a call from Ken when he had the car up & tires off asking me to come and look at something. When I arrived he showed me with his little measuring dohickie that there was enough left of brakes to last another 10,000 miles!!! If he had gone ahead with service I would have paid, driven away and been none the wiser. But he is an ethical person who does not take advantage of his customers even if it means a loss of revenue. This action has won my undying loyalty. So if anyone is looking for a good and HONEST mechanic Ken is your man!

Just want to say that Big Reds is the best! Headed to Baja from Carson City, Nevada and was south of Ensenada when my Sprinter lost power. Used the internet and called his shop and Ken told me what to look for. After trying to get it fixed in Ensenada I decided to head back across the border and go to Big Reds Automotive, Ken was swamped, but fit me in and I am south bound tomorrow. Ken showed me the computer data and checked out the whole van and test drove it for 50 miles! That is customer service.
