Went in for a flat tire and ended up needing new tires, so I asked for 4 new instead of a flat repair and they had me in and out in less than hour even with as busy as they were. Amazing fast service at a reasonable price. Still made it to work that morning by 9:15. 👏

Tried to get tire pressure checked, sat there for about 15 min…couple employees looked at me but neither had the courtesy to say “we will be right with you” instead they just turn their head and walk away. I go inside and the guy says oh, we are short staffed! 3 guys behind the counter about 5 or 6 in bay area with maybe 3 cars in there…really?Why offer a service if you cant commit the resources to manage it? Close it down if you are truly short-staffed instead of making prospective clients wait forever…

Super helpful staff. We had bought rims online and told they would be at the store on a certain date and so we made an appt. Get there and my rims werent there and they had no idea when they would be. We had to end up buying some from the showroom.

Scheduled appointments are your best bet. Its busy on Mondays because they are closed Sundays.Free patches if its on the tread.Nice staff, good operation and flow of customers. Free wifi. I believe they have coffee and water if you ask.(Oh look, printed magazines I cant resist reading those.)

Free tire repair....great customer service

Today I brought our companies work truck to replace the front tires . I was given two choices a standard passenger rated tire and a LT for heavier load like towing. Since we dont tow I chose the passenger rated, plus it was less expensive. After they were installed the manager on duty, paying his due diligence as a professional, noticed my work truck and its utility bed and had his team re- place the passenger rated tire with the heavier rated LT at no additional cost . He explained that the LT would serve our companies needs better for that vehicle and give us more safety performance. I want to thank that Supervisor and his team for truly putting the customers needs and safety first. Thanks again R.W

Discount tire has always gone above and beyond for my tire needs. However, on my most recent purchase, I was exceptionally pleased with the customer service. There was a FedEx issue with my tires and they were stuck at their warehouse for a week or so, for no real reason. Ernesto offered to personally pick them up for me. While FedEx wouldn’t let him, I was floored at this. I worked in shipping and receiving before and not once would I ever offer to to take my personal car and pick up something for a customer. Like I said, above and beyond.

Come here for all my tires..prices are good really helpful ..found a stripped lug nut when I went to change my brakes. Took it in to get some help. Not only did they find good lugs to change out for me they charged me less than retail and put them on at no charge !

The customer service here is good. Although they do fall short with communication. I called in for a tire rotation, when I asked to set an appointment i was told to just drive in, but when I arrived I was told it would be over 2 hrs to get done, and then offered an appointment. If that was the case that should have been told before I came in. Also the silver caps I paid for on my value stems one is missing after a tire rotation. I do like the company, and I feel it is a good place, they do have nice tire specials, but these reasons are why I rated it 3 stars not 5.

Everyone was super sweet and helpful. I came in 10 mins before they closed and Andrew at the front desk was super helpful and took time to help me with a nail, that got stuck in my tire he directed me to a Gentlemen Daniel doubled check everything and even took out my tire and tested to make sure I was good to go. 10 out of 10!!!

I like Discount Tire. They are professional and honest. The workers are some of the best and their leadership seems pretty squared away. They check your tire air pressure for free and will repair your flat (if repairable) for free. Unfortunately you may have to wait due to some of the weirdos who come by 3 times a day to have their tire pressure checked...yep...3x! Weird! But DTs prices and promptness are better than most others and they will price match/beat the competition.

Free tire patches, pressure checks and inspections. They anticipated a 2 hour wait when I got there, but it ended up only bring 1 1/2 hours. The employees are very nice and professional, and the lobby is comfortable enough if you want to wait.

In addition to fixing that tire, they identified another issue on a tire I wasnt aware of. Luckily, I had a full size spare they swapped in. They replaced and calibrated both tire pressure sensors. They also showed me the existing wear on the tires for eventual replacement planning. No sales pressure. Just straight forward, top notch service (which is was what I needed today).You earned my business for the next set of tires (probably a few months from now). I drove a way being sincerely thankful I didnt learn about the second tire problem the hard way - one of those terrible rear blowouts on the highway.My sincerest gratitude. Brought my 2020 Toyota Tacoma in and they installed my new tire, put the spare in under the truck, checked air pressure and set them accordingly, made sure the Air Pressure sensors were ser correctly, rotated tires, and cleaned up all the tires and wheels. Daniel was VERY helpful and VERY professional and I thank him and the entire staff for their kind and respectful communication.

I could not be more impressed with my experience today. I had to be towed due to a flat tire and flat spare. I was a walk-in this morning and they were very busy. Gabriel helped me and provided stellar customer service. He was informative, friendly, patient and very professional. I was told it would take an hour and 45 minutes to replace all four tires and to repair my spare, which I completely understood due to the volume they had at the time.While I waited I listened to the way Gabriel and his co-workers handled all of the calls and customers in front of them. And every interaction was was informative, friendly, patient and very professional. Gabriel and his co-worker both checked in with me to let me know where my car was in the line-up. Again, I was very impressed. Finally, my car was finished and even more quickly than Gabriel had estimated. The young man who brought me my car was equally as friendly and answered all my questions.What started out as a very inconvenient morning was made better by the excellent customer service I received from Gabriel and the team at Discount Tire in Escondido. I will without a doubt be returning in the future and give my strongest recommendation to all.

I have been buying my tires from Discount tires for over 20 years, from this store over 10 years. You really cant trust them when it comes to tire pressure. Always check your tire pressure after you leave the store. They told me the pressure was 35psi on all 4 tires, it was on the rear, on the front, it was 25psi!!!! Way under inflated

Been going to Discount Tire for a number of years. I would rate the cost and customer service as a 5. However the time waiting I think is excessive. I think they may be victims of their own success, i.e. more cars equal more money. However my time is also valuable.Never spend less than 1 1/2:hours waiting. One incident I made an appointment and it took over 2 hours.If they are that success why not more employees or resources to handle the load?

Five stars for Gabriel at the front desk. He is great. Came in right before closing. Gabriel and the other two attendants were helping other customers on the phone. He was the only one that greeted and told me, he be right with me. Total professional and excellent customer service. He helped me out with a nail I thought I had in my rear right tire. He went above and beyond in explaining different scenarios that fit my future situation with the lease return. I would hundred percents come back because of his above excellent customer service.

Dropped off the car at 9am, they said it would be completed at 11am and they would text us so we could come pick it up. We checked the number with the man 2 times and they had my number on file from years previously. We waited until 2:30 and called them, they said “oh yup, it was done at 11am” so I said, “why didn’t I receive a text? We’ve been sitting around and it’s been done for 4 1/2 hours.” He said “it says you weren’t waiting and to text you when it was done, we probably wrote the number down wrong.” And he repeated it to me blah blah blah one number off after hesitating so it was clear he was lying about the number being written down wrong. My husband was waiting to go to work for my car to be done and they had us waiting an extra 4 1/2 hours because we didn’t wait outside when there’s a pandemic going on and we went home to wait instead.Will not be returning to this location.

The guy said my cross over (2016 Lexus nx200t)has a load rating of over 100. Clearly he either don’t want to do business with my kind or he don’t know what he’s talking about. Decline to install the tire size 245/40/20 due it’s load rating of 99. A simple internet search clearly provides that is not the case. Only come here if your white or if you don’t know what your doing so these guys can just set YOUR CAR up the way THEY WANT it. Here take my money so I can have my car just the way you want it! He would only install 245/45/20.Went to Firestone, had no issues there.

I always set up an appointment for anything I do here. Otherwise your wait time may vary. Usually in and out within an hour or less. They do a great job here. Free rotation and balance. I love just driving up for free air check. Makes my life better with all their services. Getting tires here is great since there are always rebates.

Called and was told i was approved for credit to order tires. They ordered the tired for me. Went to get them installed on my wheels the next day. They installed them on my wheels before payment method was discused. Then when i was asked about payment, i told them i was told i was approved thats why they ordered the tires. Come to find out i wasnt approved. I didnt get approved when i filled out the paperwork. Then i told them i didnt have the total amount but could put more money down. They didnt understand that again and i had to tell them a second time what the situation was. Ended up leaving with no tires and a big hassle for myself. Not going there again and attemping to buy overpriced tires.

The most important thing that you need to know before you come to get tire service or new tires like I did is to search online on their website for the prices and the kind of tires you want and the availability. If you are getting new tires be prepare to wait at least one hour and a half if they are not too busy, thats probably their average time. For sure you need to bring something to entertain yourself if you are willing to wait that long or just go out to Grand Ave. and have a snack or visit the small businesses around, they can send you a text when your car is ready to be pick up.My experience was good, the employees were attentive to customers waiting letting them know someone was going to help them asap. I love the way my new tires look and the price was great.

Yo I get a tire from then. 2weeks later it blows out on the freeway. The manager replaced it tho and didnt charge me any fees which was really cool of him.

Terrible experience. The employee, name was Juan, was very rude and not helpful at all with any of my questions or concerns. I ended up going to discount tire in San Marcos and had a way better experience.

I came into this shop last night at about 5:58pm, just before closing. Unfortunately I had a tire blowout just down the road. I was able to get the donut on and make it in just under the wire. They saved me a HUGE hassle, not only by taking me in when they were already plenty busy, but handling it with courtesy and a smile. Geraldo Cruz was amazing! I made an appointment for a tire repair online for the next morning. Check-in was quick and easy. My tire was repaired in about 45 minutes. When it was finished I went to the counter to pay and was told that the repair was free. Tire repair is a free service that they offer. I was very surprised and had fully expected to pay 35 or $40. When the time comes to replace my tires I will definitely return to Discount Tires.

Normally I dont have issues with discount Ive done a lot of business with the company. But the one time literally 1 time I needed to return a product i looked on the company sites to verify the return policy, which states clearly if you are unhappy with a product return to any of our stores with the payment option that was used and receipt in hand and anyone of our associates can assist you and all of a sudden I have to turn to another store and there are all these stipulations that are present from the get go at this store. And thats one thing i cannot stand.

I just purchased a used vehicle and I wanted to get the tires checked. I stopped in and was given an honest opinion that the tires were good for another 10-15k. They could hace easily informed me that I needed new tires. I will definitely go back when I do.
