Ive been getting the same prescription for 5 years from rite aid but another location. Came to this one told me its a 4 hour wait so I wait and it never gets ready before they are closed. I leave and call the next day no answer, I speak to the cashier and she let them know i was on hold 20 minutes later I hang up. I actually had to call another rite aid just to see if its ready or not. Now Im waiting in the drive thru and its been forever so I decided to give them the review they deserve. Do NOT GO HERE TERRIBLE SERVICE

I traveled out here only for my two Covid vaccine shots. The first visit was awful. Restroom out of order, and the pharmacy was short staffed. Didnt get my vaccine for over 45 minutes after my appointment time. Second visit was much better. Arrived early and got in and out very quickly. In agreeing with other reviews, consistent staffing levels seem to be an issue for this location. If they could get that under control, then theyd probably get better ratings.

Horrible wait time to pick up meds

Great customer service. The staff is very helpful. If you need help they stop what their doing to make sure you get the help you need at the time.

Went to pick up meds that were called in at 1 and at 4 not done told me to come back in 25 min so i called first just to get told its going to be another 25 min this is the worst place to get your meds from time to go somewhere else

Terrible service

NO! DO NOT WATSE YOUR TIME!! I went to go have my meds transferred and the pharmacist just looked at me then continued to stare at the computer. The other two pharmacist were trying to look busy as well. One was playing with a plastic basket. After standing there for 5 minutes I walked out. I’ve never had a sh*tty experience like that. And after reading reviews I will stay with Westlake and travel 20 minutes to get my meds even though I just moved to Elyria.

Prices are a lil to high but other than that there a good store.

I have had nothing but issues with the pharmacists at the Elyria Rite Aid. When I was pregnant with my daughter and was prescribed an antibiotic, I went to ask the pharmacist if this would harm my unborn child. Being a new mom I wanted to make sure. I was rudely told Well you dont have a choice, you have to take it. I dont have time to talk to you. I had the same attitude when asking if a different medication passed into the breastmilk after she was born. What finally has made me truly dislike and never use Rite Aid again is, my 10 month old daughter was prescribed Augmentin on Thursday and they offered to my husband to have it flavored for her, hes a first time father and doesnt know about it. Then when I called up there before I even gave her a dose of the medication and was told we wont flavor it for her, its not allowed. For a 10 month old to hold her down and force her to take nasty chalk tasting Augmentin is traumatizing to her. I called another pharmacy and they told me that infant and childrens medications can be flavored to ensure compliance. The true kicker was Rite Aid put a pamphlet in her bag that said Dont struggle with yucky medicine, ask your pharmacist to flavor it. But yet they refused to flavor her medication. I will never use Rite Aid pharmacy again.

Horrible customer service. I called ahead to see when my prescription would be ready and I was put on hold for 15 minutes. I go to the pharmacy and she says it will be a 30 minute wait after I stood there being ignored for 10 minutes while they all talked to each other behind the counter. I wait 45 minutes and come back even though she said 30 and she tells me its another 15 minutes. I Will NOT recommend to anyone.

The parmacy didnt have my flu medicine so I agreed to let them fill it for me the next day. I just called because it wasnt in my bag, just to find out they basically forgot to fill it. This is all the time with them. Thatll be the last time I use the pharmacy.

Ok in a pinch, but definitely not the best place to go in town. Prices are kinda high, and they often dont have what Im looking for.

Seriously if there was an option to give negative stars thats what they would get.... pharmacy is a joke, called for an hour and nobody would pick up the phone. Always short staffed and all but a couple are rude
