Think twice before purchasing online, for in-store pickup! Target Online cant really determine whether a location actually has an item in stock. So just because you pay, and receive an email confirmation about pickup time, it doesnt mean that the item is in stock!I waited two hours because the email said I could pick up the item at a certain time. However when I arrive at the pickup area in Target, they could not find my order. I showed them the confirmation email with the order number and the item, but they still could located it in the system.Finally, they realized that my order had been canceled because the item was not in stock!!I never received any email saying that the item was not in stock so therefore I was under the assumption I was still to arrive at the store for pick up.When I asked for a refund, I was told that they couldnt refund it because my card was never charged. They said the amount was simply put on hold. I was advised that it was up to my bank to release the hold.Based on this experience, I think its best to just go into the store and look for the items that I need to purchase. No sense in wasting time purchasing online, when the item may not be available after you pay for it.As soon as the local store realizes they dont have an item to fill an order, an email should be sent to the customer ASAP!

I have always loved my local Target in ellicott city. The store is pretty clean and the employees are usually pretty nice and helpful. But tonight I was lucky enough to walk up to Ms Betty’s checkout line and had the pleasure of having her take care of me. She was so personable and helpful. I had forgot my target card at home and she walked me though downloading the Target app on my phone and I was able to use my target card. She was wonderful!!! Her customer service skills were on point!! Plus she helped me save some money!! Thanks again Ms Betty!!

Great place to go and get racially profiled and falsely accused of theft. That was my friends experience so if if y’all want the same and you’re a POC head to this Target. If not, I’d advise going to a different store.

Went for a Covid Shot. Smack dab in front of store were 18 empty spaces for online purchase. One car parked there . Meanwhile handicapped people have to park further away. Nice Im glad you care ❤

This store has a slightly larger selection than some other Targets Ive been to lately. Definitely lost points for the checkout process. Even though it was not yet 7 pm, there was a massive line to checkout, as they only had one cashier.

The new software install at CVS either was not working or staff was not trained on it. I ended up being billed twice for a transaction then has to wait 20 minutes for someone to check on the double billing.

This one of my favourite store to buy baby clothes and they have always 5% additional discount for target debit or credit card. They also have additional discount on clearance. They have prompt and good customer service.They also have Starbucks coffee in store entrance. That is my favourite coffee. I buy coffee sometimes when I visit target store. Target also have good return policy without asking more questions for most of items have one month return policy.

I come here all the time! They have all the essentials and stock is always up-to-date and in time with the season. It perfectly fits the stereotype of walk in with one item in mind, leave with everything.

James, who helped me select my cellphone today, went out of his way to provide remarkable service. Although two or three other customers interrupted him as he was instructing me, he was unflappable. Not only was he courteous and patient with me but he went out of his way to assist the other customers and never lost his cool. He must be used to assisting senior citizens like me. He listened, he was more than kind and applauded my undertaking of the new technology!!!!

I appreciate that Target price matches unlike Walmart. I like that Target has 100% cotton womens dresses, the clothing line has been expanded very nicely so that some particular brands are true quality at a fair price. I like that Target still has large size bags. I like Targets vitamin brand, soy free is what I need and many brands dont have that.

Dont try calling this store NOBODY Answers the phone. G A R B A G E . Wont shop here again.

Pick up was easy to do, easy to find (right inside front door), and the service was VERY quick by an attentive, pick-up staff that seemed happy to be of service. I would given 5 stars but you need to be careful placing the on-line order as there is no confirmation of the type of payment; it grabbed a previous cr card, applied it the order was placed; nice except if I didnt want to use that card, I dont recall having a Confirmation screen before the order was completed.

I have a Target almost across the street from my fifty-five & over condo complex. Target has always been the first place I checked even before moving here. This is a high sought out area & this Target seems to always be on top of everything. This is the first time Ive ordered from Target & then gone in to pick it up. My order was placed about 11:P.M. Friday night. I could have sworn that it said my order would be ready by 7:A.M. I overslept but went over about 7:30. It turns out I saw the time the store actually opened. I ended up there early & the item hadnt been pulled yet. I was told that I could go get it, cancel my order, get the refund & then pay. I checked & there was only two on the shelf when I had purchased four. I went back & found out that they were returning with their carts. The one woman had heard our conversation & she saw my items so she grabbed them, put them in a bag & brought them over. They were super nice & even though I was there before the e-mail came in my first time was an enjoyable experience.

Ease of use; ordered what I wanted and then just came in and got it.

This target is always clean and tidy, and staff is helpful. I like their planters in front of their store, who ever is in charge of their landscaping does an amazing job. Target has everything you need for a living. Except good furniture. I wish it was priced a little lower for everything though. They have a great makeup section.

Not too shabby of a Target. Not a fan of the new design despite wherever the store is located. This was cleaner than most.

There are a lot of things to recommend the Target store in the Longate shopping center. The staff is friendly and helpful, the store in bright and clean, and it has a very good in-store CVS pharmacy. Okay it has limited grocery selections.The reason for the Fair Rating is a result of a safety concern for pedestrians crossing the road immediately in front of the store. The other major stores in the shopping center have very clearly marked pedestrian crossing areas in front of their stores. Ive attached two photos showing that Target does not. There are two stop signs but a very narrow yellow crossing strip which is ignored. We have a number of aggressive drivers in the area and Target would do well to be more concerned about pedestrian safety.The Target store used to have a very large clearly marked pedestrian area with white diagonal strips like the other stores in the center; however, this disappeared a long time ago and has never been redone.

I had an extremely pleasant experience with the Ellicott City Target. I placed a call to the store to see if they had the new release of Mariah Careys book. I believe I spoke to someone working in that department, a female, of was very kind. She apologized to me saying that department was under renovation; the book was in the store but was not unpacked yet. She said that the boxes of books should be unpacked within three days and she could leave a copy of the book at customer service for me when she ran across it. I was fine with that thinking I could surely wait three days. She took my name and number and again apologized for the inconvenience. I said no problem and thank you for helping. Well before 7 the next morning she called me (I was up 🙂), told me she had located the book, and that a copy would be waiting for me at customer service. Wow! Thats great service that was really appreciated. I just wish that I knew her name. I wanted to let management know that I appreciated her quality work ethics and the time that she took to notify me. If the company gives out gold stars to the employees for performance, she definitely gets 5 stars. Thank you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Love Target’s pick up service. The employees are always right there with the correct order when, or very shortly after I pull up. I’ve been using the pick up service since the pandemic started. I’ve never had to wait more than a minute for them to come out. Today I saw her coming out of the door wearing a mask, when I pulled up.Very satisfied.

I can not find the youth underwear section. Ever since the remodeling I have not been able to find anything. The architect should not design anymore. They clearly do not know that stores are not mazes. They do have starbucks so that is good.

Target is the best place to get deals! But sometimes they do not have what you need. In todays shopping, I could not find the gift card I was looking for. they had it yesterday but could not restock overnight.

The grocery selection here is depressing. I hope people dont solely rely on target for their nutritional needs. Too much packaged food, and not much fresh food. The staff is much better than what is hired at Walmart, so I see why people would pay a little more to shop here. But, EC Walmart has more grocery options. Id rather shop at neither.

I came in to measure my childs feet and buy him some shoes, but I was told this store doesnt have a foot measuring device. I guess Ill go somewhere else - were not trying on shoes til we figure out his size.

This store absolutely makes me happy almost everytime I visit. The store is clean and easy to navigate despite a recent store layout update. The stocked items are organized and nicely arranged usually always in stock when I need them from apples to laundry detergent. Now to the real thing that makes me happy: excellent customer service. The associates here are amazingly kind, helpful and efficient. It seems like they know where everything is or they know who does. I absolutely LOVE this store.

This Target is amazing. I live close by so we frequent the store and drive up ordering often. :) Ive never had an issue they couldnt resolve.There is an older gentleman cashier (cannot recall his name!) who is always so kind and talks to my kids. Moses, the guy who happily brings in shopping carts, takes time to greet everyone and passes out stickers to kids.The selection here is also top notch. I do a ton of grocery shopping since its so close to our house, and its cheaper than the Safeway nextdoor on many items. I love the new Good & Gather line and also always stock up when they have frequent meat discounts.

Because during this pandemic Target has gone out of its way to facilitate shopping for vulnerable people on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7-8 am, I would recommend Target for those shoppers. Although the store arrangement still perplexes me a little, the associates have always been willing to help me find needed items. The check-out experience seems very safe and the store is putting down even more markers to show people where to stand and be socially distanced.

I stopped by 2 weeks ago (saturday around 7am) to do some grocery shopping and pick up a few other necessities and noticed a store employee constantly following me around the store. This young man had long curly hair and glasses so he was easy to spot; every aisle I was in a minute later he would speed walk right next to me and pretend to look at various products. First off I dont appreciate how their employees assumed I was a thief merely for being goth; the loss prevention team needs better training and learn how not to discriminate against their customers and how to not make it so odvious that they are following people....take it from me, Ive worked in loss prevention. Every time I shop I always spend over $100, this store has lost my business

Lack of support from the management. Not enough cashier. It feels like their managers are just sitting in a chair while their employees are struggling when its busy.😔

Jerry is one of the managers here and this is the second time that he has been rude and disrespectful. I asked if I could be check out and he told me to go to guest services and that I have to bag my own items and thats my problem and walked off.2nd time ran into him again and I had already checked out and asked if he could grab an item for me again he was rude and disrespectful told me I had to do it myself. He needs to be retrained as a manager his work ethics is unprofessional.

Cashier told me masks are NOT required in the store when I asked about the gentleman behind me in line who was not wearing a mask. She did not address the issue. Tried to call the store to speak to a manager but no one answers the phone so I contacted corporate.

Always a nice store. Carts are wiped ready for use, extra wipes available. Found everything I needed.

The staff at the Target Ellicott City store are quick to come to my car with my order, even when its very busy. They are always polite and pleasant. I love this service so much!

I love the convenience of order pickup. I was in the area so I made the order and dropped by to grab everything I needed instead of having to find the items in different aisles or wait in the long lines. However, only one associate acknowledged me to let me know that it would take a minute or so since he was helping another guest. Other associates walked by without saying anything for a few minutes then that same associate came by. I was the only one in the order pickup line so they didnt seem to notice.

Prices, cleanliness, selection are the reasons I go to Target. They have some beautiful colors in women’s clothing this year. I’ll be going back to get some. I LOVE Target!

Your Target is the most organized and enjoyable store I have been. The clothes are always hanging nicely on the Right hangers. The shelves always look great. It just stands out from any of the other stores I have been. I am lucky that you are right here next to where I live!

There are clear distinctions between the signage for Order Pickup vs Exchanges and Customer Service, however I waited in line for 10 minutes at Order Pickup only to be told to go to the back of the Exchanges line. If the design of the store and the marketing strategy is to provide online ordering with quick pickup, then please staff your stores accordingly. I didnt order pickup so I could run in with my kid in the car, to have to wait 20 minutes to get my purchase, I could have gone in and gotten the items quicker. Realign with corporate because youre not upholding the intended customer experience.

I was at Target in long gate. Ellicott city. Employee had no mask on, about 7 customers had no mask on. When I told the customer service person Kereen, and Mary and some other guy. They said they cant tell the customers to wear mask🤷‍♀️. Im not going in there anymore. If you test positive and youve shopped there. I suggest you sue. They are not following the law. I think Im going to report them. No wonder Howard county is so high. If you want to walk around like a regular spring day with no mask. Visit this target. Smh. I wont be shopping there anymore.

Stopped in primarily for Optical shop. Even though they dont normally do repairs, they replaced the string on my glasses. I really appreciated it.

Takes time to adjust the new layout - but you will; prices have ticked up, and hiring more checkout(or installing additional self checkout) would reduce longer lines. Produce and meats are generally tasty with improved higher quality selection.

Searched high and low for a digital thermometer. Was able to locate it here, and order online for curb pick up.

The place looks great after the remodel. It looks more like a department store than a big-box set up like Walmart. Everything is nice and clean, and merchandise is easy to find.

Target used to be my favorite store but since they remodeled it, I cant find anything that I need and I have to order it online or go to Columbia or Glen Bernie to get it. Its like they only carry home goods or clothing now. Its almost as if the store itself carries less and wants you to order things online. I dont understand. I used to come here for stationary products, groceries, seasonal and kid toys. Whats the point now?? I have to go to Walmart because I can never find what Im looking for and I hate Walmart. Its so frustrating.

Everyone there is always so helpful and friendly. The registers are well managed. The store is always stocked well and merchandise easy accessible. I can get everything I need at one location and pay less. I love the fact that this location has a Starbucks. It is a busy Store and parking is often difficult. Get a red card and save 5%, stack it with manufacture coupons and Targets Card wheel App discounts for even more savings.

I spend a lot of time (and $$) at Target. Its enjoyable to shop there. Bright lights, cheerful staff, good prices and in-fashion items.

I’ve been going to this Target my whole life and have never thought to write a review until today. I met a cashier named a Larry (a middle aged white male) at self checkout and he was so helpful and kind, he even helped me with a coupon to help save some pennies. His customer service was truly impeccable. He made my day and this Target should feel grateful to have him!

After reading several online reviews my wife told me about a small cart that users are saying is perfect for her InstaPot. I Googled it and saw Target had one listed which my wife verified was the one she had read about.My local Target showed both gray and black ones in stock, my wife said she preferred to black one. I ordered it around 6 pm and received an email shortly after saying it was ready for pickup.I stopped the next day to get it. Only one person in front of me in the pickup line so I was out quickly.Cart was easy to put together and seems like a perfect fit for the InstaPot.

I had a very bad experience at this store recently. I bought a spectra milk pumping machine S1 for $199 on Wednesday that is 2 days ago. The box didn’t have a security tag but I still have to buy it because the specific model is not available anywhere. I took it opened it and figured that the equipment inside is not S1 but S2 which is $50 cheaper than S1. I went yesterday that is yesterday and asked for an exchange and there is one sales person named Kareen who rudely refused to take it back. I have an explanation that I didn’t have a proof or anything but she still refused to take it back and told me that she can’t help me in anyway. I spoke with the customer care on the phone and they were willing to exchange it, I went back today but Karen was still refusing and was using some bad language quietly. I had a very bad experience due to that person and I would definitely give less than 1 star due to her behavior. I am a target customer Since 2013 and this kind of behavior will definitely leave a bad remark on a business like target.

I am of sound mind as many that we get way too many emails and that when requested we should be able to refrain from providing an email to; in this case, purchase an item from the Target registry. I was told by Target Management that Target Leadership absolutely requires an email for me to place an order via their registry. Further, I was told that I cant purchase the item in the store for the registry. Even when I shared that I would write a poor review, never go to Target again and highly encourage others to never go nor do any business with Target, Management didnt budge because Leadership provided them no way to keep / win a customer. Its amazing to me that they are so willing to lose customers and business over whether they get email addresses.

The Target Mobile representative here was very informative and patient with my mobile needs. Mr. Jabari had a lot on his plate dealing with many customers around him but still greeted me on a timely fashion and provided amazing service! He taught me so much about the electronics department that I didnt know walking into the store. This encounter made my Target experience phenomenal!

I have used several pick-up services at various stores these past few weeks. Target was the best, quick efficient- I may continue after the pandemic is over!

I always find what I’m looking for and at a competitive price.

They closed off a large section of the parking lot to make room for all the supplies and equipment they used to remodel the store. Although the store was open during construction, parking became difficult. I thought, If they do a good job it will be worth it. Unfortunately, they hardly did anything. Here is how the, remodeled Target is different:* They made it appear like they made the cosmetics section larger. But all they did was remove all of the shelves and they replaced them with shorter shelves. This gives the illusion of having more space.* They added a large, round light above the cosmetics section to make it appear like it has more space than it actually does.* They moved everything and it doesnt make any sense. They had all of the cleaning products next to the registers but they decided to move them next to the pharmacy because... reasons?* The way they moved everything makes no sense. Its as if they planned this at a bar. They drew a map of the store while having a few beers and a few shots. Then they pinned the map on the wall and threw darts at it. Each dart resembled each department and wherever it landed is exactly where that thing would be.* An example of how poorly laid out it is now: They have a section of a variety of soaps and cleaning products in front of the womens section (sexist much?). Literally everything is in a different place so frequent customers can be confused and look for their items. Of course, the staff here goes out of their way to avoid you so you are left to find what you need on your own.Seriously, the staff here are basically paperweights so there really isnt a point in having them. This store is an excellent opportunity to test out automation because these employees are here to collect minimum wage while the gossip and talk about their wild night drinking.
