After trying some other places we now have all of our work done at Avalon. They are quick, competent, and reasonably priced. As some who grew up doing all of my own car work I trust them to do a good job.

Avalon automotive is that rare thing that everyone is looking for, an honest, competent auto mechanic. I have been using them for many years and they have never let me down. When they check out your car, they will tell you what needs to be fixed, and will tell you if something does *not* need to be fixed.Their prices are more than fair, they dont quibble over nickle and dime stuff, and they recognize their regular customers. I have used them for everything from oil changes to major repair work and they have come through every time. I recommend them to everyone who asks.

They are honest with their work and Chuck is a great guy. Tell him up front what you want & what you can afford and he will do his best to help.He worked on my friends Subaru and indicated the repairs would be over $2400, however only $1500 were safety issues that he recommended fixing. he indicated the remaining items are still in good shape and the car would probably rust out before these parts needed replaced. He recommended just fixing what needed fixed for safety and leave the rest alone. He had the car back to my friend in less time than initially quoted. My friend had taken his car to another mechanic and that mechanic had listed repairs that Chuck felt were unnecessary. My friend drove away happy, passed emissions and says the car responds better than it ever had before.If you are uncertain, get 2nd and 3rd opinions before settling.I am pleased with their service.

Friendly and personable staff. We drive here from Ellicott City because we trust them to do whats right. Its difficult to find a mechanic you like and trust, but we found that here.
