Enjoy the variety of art forms in here.they always add new ways of introducing art from local artist.the experience is great plus the diversity of such talent is amazing.it is always very interesting to see&learn more about our culture also this years festivity of the day of the deadππ»π was very beautiful!
I have always loved El Pasos art museum but the experience I had the last time I visited was exceptional. Having a security guard (I think this name was Isaiah) that knew about the art and showed interest in showing us around the art made it so much more interesting. You could tell he had worked there a long time and was not only interested in the art but wanted to show off the art to those viewing it as well. Its nice to see someone so cheerful an excited about their place of work.
AMAZING place to take your family and share some history with them
So much art and its free but donations are encouraged
Great dia de los Muertos exhibit along with good music, parade and other festivities.
Definitely go if you love art, evertime I goni dont want to leave. The exhibits are so interesting and fun to look at.
Nice cool place to look at some art while you walking downtown el paso
Had a wonderful time at this museum. Great assortment of works, particularly relevant to the culture of the city. Would recommend!
Very lovely experience! Be sure to take your time to really appreciate the art.
We have been doing the online courses they started offering a d everyone is a pleasure to work with! I have done a painting, ceramics, and photography course with them and have had the best time!
Its always a fun trip coming to this museum. Whether its hanging out with friends or for a date. I love the exhibitions they have and its FREE!
Good place to kill a couple of hours, this museum has something for almost everyone (except the Dino lovers) but everything from local artists work to aged classics both political government to faith based works to local history of el paso. Plus IT WAS FREE TO GET IN nothing beats free.
One of my favorite statues is the green one with the faces all over. I love coming back to see it each time
Rude female security guard. You shouldnβt feel intimidated while at a museum.
What a gem! If you have an hour or so, you should stop in. Admission is free, donations are welcomed. Go and enjoy beautiful creations, painting, pottery, and sculptures
The museum was a nice place to look at some art. The facility was clean and the exhibits were well displayed.
Definitely enjoyed my time here. My only hope is that some of the displays and pieces get leveled out. Also its a very eclectic collection and a little sporadic. Im not sure who is curating but its not great.
The museum is two floors. Very nice collection of art!
I found multiple thought-provoking pieces on my visit there; good art should sometimes do that to its viewers.
The El Paso Museum if art is a really good showcase of art in general but more specifically of El Pasoan Art. I had to go for a school project but ended up seriously intrigued by some of the art pieces. The ambient and quietness of the museum is also a plus. This really lets you enjoy and reminisce on every piece of art and really concentrate on the intricate pieces.
Displays of art pleasing to the senses
This is a nice museum, with nice works of Art.Very clean and cool.
Great artwork with wonderful memories....
Beautiful art collection. Call ahead to make sure they are open
Small museum right in the heart of El Paso with great local art and surprisingly big name artistsβ work, such as Jeff Koons. Large sculptures and changing exhibits. Area for kids where they can create their own art. No entrance fee, and a great gift shop. Only drawback is parking a about a block or so away, but not a big deal. Donβt miss this museum and make a donation on your way out.
Very exciting full atmosphere lots to look at
Very peaceful place, open to the public. Ive had the opportunity to volunteer here. Its a big area to have fun and spend some time with friends.
Saw parts of the museum I havent seen before it was awesome I really liked it
New interactive art, great new artists... Bravo to the curator right now... The Museum is really exceptional right now!!!

Great collection of mostly local artists, both contemporary and historical. Spacious galleries are well laid out.
Loved it! Would like to take a class there
Its a todos experience, small museum but with lot of heart
Even though theres not allot of exhibits to look at. The art thats there will take a minute to look at. Enjoy I did.
Loved all aspects of this wonderful art museum! If you can, spend the day and check it out!
πit was cool
Ted Talks for Chalk The Block 2018 were amazing.
Good to visit. Nice wall mural at the exterior.
I dont like museums
The EPMA is a very cool place to go. *FULL DISCLOSURE- My wife works there and gives me the inner scoop. The museum store is my favorite place to go besides the exhibits. Partly because the store always has really neat stuff for the artists in your life and thereβs always something fresh and original. However I mostly buy stuff from the store because a lot of the items are MADE by LOCAL ARTISTS and a portion of your purchase goes to them so they can keep creating more of what they love. As artists ourselves my wife and I fully believe in supporting/buying locally. The museum also has workshops and other events going on for the whole family. So if you want to know about whatβs going on just stop in by the store or check out the website and youβll get whatever questions you have answered. Also please remember that when you go please be respectful not only of the museum but of the folks that work there and PLEASE DO NOT COMPLAIN about the the prices of the items. There has to be a profit made not only to keep the store going but the local artists that help contribute items for sale at the store. These folks work hard not only to keep creating fresh original artwork but also to support their families so please keep that in mind.So go enjoy the museum and have fun.
Beautiful building and great collection of a wide variety of art and great El Paso art. The extinct exhibit is especially moving.
More fun than I anticipated :) free to go
This museum had very nice art work and is clean, I also like how they sorted the art categories.
100% you should visitJust make sure you look at the times they are open. They have to paintings that I look forward to seeing every time. One is a cove of water crashing, and another is an Italian boat pier area. A lot of history and worth your time.
Beautiful pieces of art!!
Great exibitions for all kind of public
I β€ π¨
Beautiful collection of Modern Art. Family-friendly. Has a wide selection of things for your family to get together and look at and then discuss and expose yourself to the world outside of your family unit. Business place twice found new things each time good job
Awesome exhibits throughout the museum!! Really like how they showcase local artists. You really get a feel of the pride and heritage of the city through each exhibit.
The place is great, the stuff super friendly, loved it
Love going to the art museum. The art is interesting to look at and tells its own story. We went on a Saturday morning and it wasnt too busy. Take time and enjoy the art!
This is just another example of the culture and wonderful art of the south west. Admission is free. Take the railcar. El Paso is my Sunday fun day. Do it you wont regret it.
They have new exhibits every few months always something interesting to see, great to kinda hung out alone or with the homies.
Free your mind. The rest will follow. Im like 50/50 on how adventures pan out... thats me being honest... but its art and how much better can it get! Trust me and do it. If your skeptical... If anything...Go for the air conditioner on a July afternoon, and give it a genuine chance. Your mind and heart deserve that. :)
This is a really nice museum. Great place for the kids and parents at the same time. The place to appreciate the beautiful culture, to see amazing european art. So interesting and beautiful. Totally recommended to visit this museum. Besides its free, but if you wish they have a donation box.
I love the place. Just wish there was more! Im a big supporter of anything to do with art here in El Paso and this is as good as it gets for now! Hope theres more added soon and hey, its free so stop by!
OkTom Lea exhibit, including wartime art. Evening event with costumes for day of the dead.Ive always liked this museum so getting in with my camera on a special night when the crowd energy was up was a great experience.Id like to acknowledge the extra security who were present but not intruding on the enjoyment of the festivities.
Really cool exhibits especially for a free public art museum. Lots of interesting upcoming events etc. Definitely worth checking out. Plenty of close parking available for reasonable prices.
This place was awesome. First time there, and everyone was helpful and friendly... All the way down to the security guards. Recommend to anyone to give it a tour.
I enjoy the music concerts Pro Musica brings for the public; free of charge. The exhibits are good & community activities and art classes are also offered to the public.
I really like it here! Its so relaxing, and I love to see all of the art, and its even more fun when you bring family! Definitely recommend to relax if you enjoy admiring art
Beautiful quaint museum in the heart of downtown El Paso. Free admission & two floors of lovely art decorating the blank walls. Thereβs even a nifty gift shop in the front entrance. Not quite a day trip since the museum is fairly small but if you are in the area stop by after grabbing some lunch or running errands in the city
Right in downtown El Paso. Good amount of space. Has a gift shop. The artists on display on the first floor were modern and some local. The rest of the building has excellent colonial art including the bust if George Washington that was used for the dollar bill.
A good place to spend time and admire art. A good activity for any day of the week.. except Mondays because its closed.
Constantly adding new art. Variety of art styles themes and stuff like that. Never packed. Cool air. Not just paintings it also has amazing sculptures and three dimensional art. Highly recommend checking it out. It also has a gift shop with a variety of cool stuff from books to pins to soap.
A small museum but has a great collection of art inspired by the local area. Surprisingly good selection dedicated to more classical and modern art forms as well.Overall, I was impressed by the total collection and think it would be worth going back to again in the future.
Great Art
Super awesome museum! Loved the layout and all the content. A must see!!
Absolutely a must if your downtown, the art work changes so there is always something fresh and new to see here. My wife and I have been here as part of a date night, and we have also gone as a family with our son. You have to check this place out.
Great exhibition. Please add more tributes depicting contributions from African Americans, a valuable part of American history. Thank you.
Beautiful art! Admission is free
