I have rental homes and buy and sell homes as well. I had previously gone to other flooring businesses to get estimates and would spend a lot of time trying to get the best price. This ended up being a waste of time because Alex was consistently offering me the best prices. So now, I only call him when I need an appointment.I have had him install laminate wood flooring, carpet, tile, showers, tub enclosures, wood floors, and even refinish existing wood floors in several homes. Every job has turned out the way I wanted and the prices were good too.

Alex is very professional and honorable. He and his crew provided excellent service for a reasonable price. I have used several other flooring installers, and Alex and his crew have been by far the best. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

I recommended Alex and Alex flooring to a friend of mine was wanting to redo a home he recently purchased. They chose a ceramic tile with a stone type finish similar to marble but a different color. As a result the workers opened every single box and went through tile by tile to make sure they had the best match even with the extra work involved the cuts were perfect and I couldnt ask for a better job. After researching, visiting and interviewing at least 3 places to purchase flooring for my new home, I decided to try at least one more place and found Alex & Alex Flooring. It was the best decision made. After explaining my situation to Alex, he very calmly, (nice demeanor) basically told me, no worries....he would work with me to meet my budgetary and flooring needs.Alex is a true people person, he and his workers are highly skilled and professional. Overall service was outstanding, they explained everything to me in detail and kept me informed every step of the way. Flooring by Alex and Alex did a superb job on my living room, patio and front walkway. They were always on time and professional. I had a very positive experience working with Alex. I contacted him to fix a tile step in the master bathroom and to re-floor one of the bedrooms in my house. Bottom line up front: Good work, good price, good communication, good scheduling, good cleanup, with no unpleasant surprises or misunderstandings. The price-to-service ratio was great, and Alex was always easy to contact for questions and updates (he usually picked up the phone right away, and always called me back). The job was done in a timely and highly competent manner. My home has had tile placed three different times (the first time during the initial construction, the second time during a room/hallway remodel, and now this third time doing a room re-flooring with Alex). The construction installation was adequate, and the later remodel was a noticeable upgrade, but the people Alex brought in did the best job out of the three by a good-sized margin. They also re-did the baseboard. Would/will work with him again!As a side note, unless specifically designated otherwise in the contract, I see it as being the owner’s responsibility to ensure that adequate flooring material is on-hand for the installation, especially for jobs with pre-cut pieces like tile where some waste is unavoidable if you want the final result to look optimal. In the case of this job, I calculated the square footage of the room, adding 20% to that total (the rule of thumb is 10-15%, but I went a little higher in this case because the tiles in question were 24x24 inches), and had them ordered before calling Alex - though he can also get the tile you want as part of the job, and his store has a LARGE selection of samples to choose from. Even though the contractors were efficient in their use of the materials, matching the new tile alignment to the existing work meant that there was only one 4 sq ft piece of tile remaining at the end (if I’d ordered one box less, the job completion would have inevitably been delayed for at least 2-3 weeks through no fault but my own). On a related note, even the best installation team is constrained by their materials (i.e. you get what you pay for, so avoid bargain-bin tile or carpet).Did I mention that the team worked evenings so I didn’t have to incur additional opportunity cost by taking time off from work to have this done?

Great customer service, very knowlagble installers. Alex and his staff install our living room, stairway and our Master Beadroom.From the start Alex gave us some good advise on the colors and styles . Very professional and always avalible to answer questions. Well be using him for the rest of our home.

They ran out of carpet to finish up 2 closets. I have been calling and texting everyday for almost 2 weeks now and havent got no response for them to finish the work I paid for. Very unprofessional.
