My company uses Caliber so I thought Id give them a try. The staff is so friendly and scheduling is always easy. I took my vehicle in a while back because i felt like it was loosing power, Jacob and his team diagnosed the issue and let me know that the issue should still be under warranty with the dealer. They fixed just enough for me to get my vehicle there safely. The staff is honest and always lets me know upfront what my charges will be and prioritizes what services I need for my car.

Jacob and his team took great care of me. Had a tire sensor issue, they replaced and rotated a tire for me. Upon the rotation Jacob found that I had no wheel weights on my tire. Caliber Auto Repair is the most trustworthy and reliable shop in San Diego county! I have a 2003 model vehicle with over 250k miles on it. The guys at CAR have kept my vehicle in the game and without any issues. They understand my concerns and work with me based on them (I want to drive this thing forever :) ). Anytime I have a minor problem I can get in with them quickly and get a honest opinion of what needs to be done. They dont overcharge you with unnecessary work like other shops will. They let you know all of your options and deliver impeccable service with a high level of professionalism. I cant recommend these guys enough!

I had Jacob and the gang at Caliber Automotive install a front end lift kit on my 2018 Ford F 250 super duty. The work was perfect and completed in a very timely manner. One of the more pleasant experiences Ive had with a auto mechanic. Wanted my 2002 Silverado brought back to life that was sitting for 1-2 years. I took it to a dealership and a few other places and was quoted enormous amounts and little explanations.However Caliber sent me a full diagnostic color-coded with urgent fixes and did it for about half the cost. They were fast, honest, and the owner even checks up with you after the work is done to make sure you are satisfied. Sabrina and Jacob were easy to work with. Ive found a new spot to take my trucks and cars from now on. Thank you!

Great automotive shop. You have Jacob who is the owner and hands on manager that was raised learning to do automotive work since he was a young teenager. He is really expert. I had an issue with my vehicle, a Honda Element, that another shop could not resolve. Jacob and his team had it addressed and my vehicle is running great. The staff of caliber were awesome! From the moment I took my damaged car from being t-boned to the day it was ready for pick up. They kept me updated all through the process. Farmers Insurance took care of the bills. Caliber will pick you up or take you home - whatever you need, they provide it all!

Great work and quick return. Honda broke down right after having our baby, thought it was a blown head gasket and would be spending a ton. Was a cheaper fix so I had them do a few other repairs and car worked like new. Have worked on my other car as well and did a great job! Highly recommend

Took my Mercedes CLK 500 into Caliber Auto Repair for the first time yesterday. Cannot say enough good things about this shop. Its run by two young guys and has a real family feel. There were different makes and years of cars in for repairs the day I went - so I felt comfortable leaving my car there. They were kind of busy when I took my car in (2 or 3 people in front of me) but I didnt have to wait more than a few minutes for someone to help me. My car needs several little things, which at the dealer would defiantly be thousand$. I cant afford to get it all done right now, so I needed for someone to tell me what really needs to be fixed right away, and what can wait a little while, and hopefully give me a reasonable price to do the work. There was no pressure to spend more than I could afford. Caliber gave me a lot of information when providing the estimate (located used parts to offer that option along with the cost for dealer parts). They even noticed my windshield wipers needed replacing which I knew but totally forgot to mention, so I took care of that while I was there too!These guys are knowledgeable, fast, and very reasonable. I am going recommend them to everyone I know.

I usually do all my own automotive stuff, mostly because I’ve seen the aftermath of using cheap, bad mechanics. My oil plug was stopped at a random quick oil change shop and they didn’t tell me, they just put blue Loctite on it and I only found this when I decided to do my own oil change.Trust is key, and Caliber is the only place I trust. The owner, Jacob, tells the truth and is fair in his pricing. What else do you want from your mechanic? I will always refer Caliber to anyone who needs work on their vehicle. Epic experience, a great digital assessment gets sent to you so you can see what they checked and what needs to be addressed. I brought it in for brakes and they told me it didn’t need brakes, I’ve been to shops who would have sold me brakes, they aren’t like that at Caliber. Thank you Jacob.

I use to take my vehicles to El Cajon auto electric for many many years once they closed I was worried I wouldn’t find a reputable shop for my work vehicles and weekend rides. It took going to several shops til I stumbled upon Jacob and his awesome staff at caliber. They are honest, fair, communicative, friendly, and if they do make a mistake they own up to it and correct the issue. I’ve recommended several friends, acquaintances, and family members to take there cars to caliber. Perfect customer service and very educational. They took the time to teach me about my car and what was actually wrong with it without making me feel uneducated. Alot of auto shops have that shady feel to it but Not these guys at all. Great customer service, fast and overall just really friendly people. The only complaint that I have is that the shop dog was sleeping and I didnt get to pet it. 10/10!

So my car broke down a few minutes away from Caliber Auto repair today (Christmas Eve). I called them up and they sent someone to come help me temp fix it to get it to their shop. After getting there they checked it out, called around, and found me multiple options to fix my car myself or in house. All the staff were awesome, super friendly, and helpful. They found me the part at autozone hooked me up with a temp fix to get there and home shook my hand and sent me on my way.... seriously some of the best service Ive ever received especially when dealing with automotive repair lol. Family feel to the place even fit with a dog I mean come on what more can you ask for :) thanks for everything guys you really saved the day.
