What a pleasant experience! I was having some exhaust problems so I decided to bring my car here because I was in the area. I worked with Rob, and he was very honest with me about what was going on and how long it would take to fix it. I was originally prepared to leave my car at the shop for a few days, but they had it fixed in just a few hours! I will gladly come back here every time. The staff was great, the work was exceptional, and the price was right. I also noticed they have a great rapport with their other customers. Cant recommend this shop enough!

I was passing through the area on my way home to Indy when my Trailblazer developed a significant exhaust problem. George, the owner, immediately resourced the anticipated parts for a worse case scenario. Georges son, while preparing my vehicle for repairs, was able to devise an alternative repair plan that could get me on the road sooner. That repair saved me $$$ and at-least 5+ hrs of anticipated waiting for parts and repair. If I actually lived in Dyer the Exhaust Masters would be my go to auto repair shop. There was zero fluff in our communications with each other, straight shooters are a rare breed these days. :)

Brought my car in for a myriad of things I noticed. Rob was very honest with me about what he felt was going wrong with my car. He took the time to check everything out and called me with his honest assessment. His honest assessment was that he didnt want to take my money... there were things not worth fixing. He didnt charge me for his time and he didnt make any money because he didnt do any repairs. He was honest. How refreshing. Earned my future business for sure!

I was out doing errands when suddenly my truck started making a noise, I thought it was the muffler. Im new to the area, I looked up muffler shops near me, I chose EM because of their great reviews. I took my truck in and talked to George, he quickly found the problem, fixed it and I was back on the road to finish the rest of my errands. Great service and fair price. I would highly recommend EM!

I have a 2009 Scion xD and they dont make my OEM exhaust system anymore. But George and his son worked magic and fabricated a system. Quoted 600-900, completed for 565. Im sending my friends to George!!

Cant recommend this place enough. George is great to work with and straight to the point about whats wrong and getting it fixed. Came in with a damaged muffler and was in and out in no time, without breaking the bank. Been here several times and will definitely be back!

The owner fixed my exhaust today for 10% of what a big name place quoted me yesterday. He was quick, efficient and a pleasure to do business with.

Brought in my car for an install of an exhaust system I bought 2 months later the exhaust falls off because of untightened clamp and the custom made exhaust hanger the weld fell off shortly after. Wouldnt recommend for exhaust work.

I had a mid muffler delete done on my 2020 Dodge Challenger. The job looks great, and the car sounds much better. I would come back for any other work needed of this nature, and I would highly recommend them.

Years ago when me and my husband lived in Lynwood the owner was friendly and we brought our car in several times for oil changes and repairs....but in the past few years Ive stopped in by myself a few times for ether an oil change or to get a quote on a repair and the old man was not friendly and treated me as if I was bothering him....seemed arrogant... Sorry....not going back this time...😔

I really appreciate the work these guys did for me. I tried saving money by purchasing an exhaust pipe and muffler on my own and had it installed. Had i just went ahead and had them install the muffler they quoted me i would have saved $240. Not only did i screw myself in buying the muffler on my own but i made the job more difficult then it should have been.Thanks so much for installing the muffler system i cursed you guys with i deeply apologize. Excellant work at a very reasonable price. They could have and should have charged me more but they didnt. These guys are going to be my only mechanic ill ever go to when i need my car fixed.

What I had Ehaust Masters done to my car was that they eliminated my silencer after the axle, and they straight piped it. Now my car sounds exactly how it should, fantastic. The exhaust tip they choose, the welds, and how accurate they left the tip centered and the amount they left it sticking out was perfect. Great job.

Very helpful when other places left me down. They used good quality material. They were very willing to show me what the problem was and they showed me the good quality work they had done after it was all fixed. The charges were very reasonable. I was so thrilled with what they did with my exhaust system that I took my wifes car in the next day so they could fix the air conditioning. Another great job and a very happy customer. I will be going back to them in the future.

Great Reasonably priced service

George is the best. He saved me 2100.00 when another repair place told me I needed things done that actually didnt need to be done. Honest and fresh.I recently returned for more maintenance, thinking I would need serious repairs. George checked the car out thoroughly and test drove it. To my complete surprise and happiness, I didnt have any needed repairs. He is amazing. He not only knows cars inside and out, but hes also honest. This is an amazing combo. George is the most honest mechanic I know. Probably the most honest man I know. He is the only mechanic I trust and the only mechanic in 3 states I will go to. I live in Ohio and I will travel to him to get work done. I know if he says I need something I do, and when he says I don’t, I know I don’t. He is the last of the Mohicans. I trust him to work on my car which means I trust him with my family’s life. He is a good man with great prices and I recommend you only go to George. Also if you need to buy a car Robert (his son) is the person to go to. Bought a car from him and it’s still running strong 5 years later. George is the rockstar of the auto mechanic world.

The Good: They are very friendly with quick service.The Bad: Took my vehicle in for a quote on exhaust work and was told about $300 for a repair with flex pipe. I had similar work done on a different vehicle just last year so I knew that price was not great but reasonable. I guess I shouldve gotten that in writing. After the work was done, the bill was $460.I am currently working far from home and was a little desperate to get my exhaust fixed but if he had said about $400 (before tax) or about $500, I wouldve kept looking.

Called in asking if someone was available to take a look at my car and they were happy to help me right away. Within 10 minutes he was able to tell me exactly what was wrong, even went as far as bringing me into the garage to show me where the issue was and how he would fix it. I had a catalytic converter-related issue. Did an excellent job explaining the process (I’m not well-versed in car mechanics whatsoever), and definitely made sure to explain it in a way I could understand. I was in there an hour before close & he was more than happy to fix my car for me right on the spot. My car was repaired and ready to go in under an hour. AMAZING customer service, I 150% recommend giving them your business. Very friendly and professional, probably the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had bringing in my car somewhere to be serviced.

They do not do all mechanical repairs here. However if you really want honest answers about what your vehicle might need then I suggest you take (the patient) your vehicle here. George will look it over and give you an honest assessment of what may be wrong with it and if he can fix the problem. If it is a transmission problem you will have to find a transmission repair shop. Talking about what may be wrong with a vehicle over the phone is never a good diagnosis. Always best to take it in.

I brought my 2012 BMW 650i in looking for some options to improve the sound. George talked me though several options and explained the pros and cons of each. I ended up doing an axel back straight pipe with a staggered set of quad tips. Couldnt be happier with the help that George provided and the work that his son Rob and team did on my car. The owner saves you money anytime he can, dropped my truck off for a supposed $150+ job called me when it was done and said only a $65 fix. Wouldnt trust anyone else

The employees are rude and condescending, and tried to overcharge me for a simple job. Go somewhere else, these guys do not know what they are doing. I went to E-Z Muffler in South Heights, and it was done in minutes, at nearly half the price, and with zero attitude.

I got my straight pipe fixed it rusted out on my jeep and they got me in and out in 20 minutes or less they really know their stuff. I had to grab a card on the way out i reccomend other who need exhaust issues to definatwly consider them ! 💪⛽🚥

Took my car here for a second opinion on front end issues. First opinion was completely incorrect and Exhaust Masters found the main issue. They fixed it and saved me a ton of money.
