I had a very good purchasing experience with Mr. Roy, and Mr. Ian helped me for the delivery of the vehicle, they are very friendly and helpful. They listen to my needs, answer my questions, and they are accommodating. I found out there is a rock chip on my windshield right when the vehicle is delivered, and Mr. Roy helped me to negotiate to the factory multiple times, and said it can be replaced for free. This was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I came to this dealership on July 10 looking for a 20/21 Cayenne. I walked around the lot, and didn’t see anything I wanted. I was a little frustrated because I’ve been to a few Porsche dealerships in NC without any luck. I had the pleasure of meeting Roy Roth, and omg he’s an angel. He showed me a few Cayenne’s on the lot, but I didn’t see anything I wanted. I was ready to leave, but Roy said come inside and let’s see what I can find for you. I had one issue regarding the paint/interior protection, but time will tell how they will manage the problem if it comes up. Hopefully, it does not come up.Buy without hesitation. The next week took us through Six Gap in Georgia with a stop off at Wolf Mountain Winery, the Historic Tapoco Lodge, the tail of the dragon, the Moonshiner, The Cherohala Skyway, Fontana lake, the Blueridge parkway, Asheville NC, Grandfather Mountain, Little Switzerland, Blowing Rock, US-221. The absolute best roads and greatest views you could have for an epic road trip with a bucket list car.Once we got back to Raleigh/Durham the car went to Porsche Southpoint where Ed Prandi got the car in for an inspection, a track inspection and even another delivery with the team (and pictures of course)Life is too short to drive boring cars. So buy the cars that make you look back at them after you press the lock button. From Macans to GT2s, buy them from experts you can trust at Porsche Southpoint. Thanks team, can’t wait to buy the next one.Update:After 6-months of ownership the positive experience has continued to include the entire service team. While the car hasnt actually require any trips to the service bay for any issues, it has gone back for oil changes and to replace a tire that I picked up a nail in. Ive been working with Ed Prandi whos been great. The nail was almost a major issue as the team discovered it a day before I was going on a road trip. Ed and the team went out of the way to not only find the nail, but to hunt for the exact replacement, source it and get on the car before the trip and saved the day. I trust this team to give me great advice and keep the car in peak condition.

This service visit was a nightmare. I hate to leave a bad review but they changed the ready-by date 7 times!! This had my anxiety sky high. I had to contact the GM to get any help. Can you imagine that happening to you? They werent even apologetic. They simply claimed theyve never had to fix a convertible top before, which is extremely hard to believe. However, ultimately, the car was sent off site to fix it! a 2-day estimated fix took 2 visits and 3 weeks. It still doesnt work right, almost impossible to get it to close; and they didnt even put the effort in to put things back correctly, so I have to go back again. Its mindboggling theyd treat a customer like this - - in fact no dealership has done me like this but Ive purchased many vehicles (including from Hendrick owned operations). I feel hated vs. feeling appreciated. They did wash the vehicle and put gas in it for no charge but this was an extremely difficult and antagonizing experience that I will not soon forget.

My dealings with Porsche Southpoint deep back to 2016. They always did a good job with my 911 Turbo.This week my interaction with them was not very good. I tried to find the phone number for the corporate headquarters but was not able to see it on their website. I wanted to tell the Hendricks Automotive Group manager about my experience.I booked an appointment 6-17-21 with their service department. It was confirmed by their Porsche Certified Service Advisor via text to leave my car and pick up a loaner. When I arrived they did not have an appointment for my vehicle nor did they have a loaner. The advisor that I was dealing with was not there.The car was misfiring due to failing ignition coils. This was going to make it difficult for me to drive back home. The advisor working that day said I would have to book a new appointment and he could not help me.On the way home I called Leith Porsche in Cary. They said to bring the car over and they could do the service the next day. They did not have a loaner car on short notice but they offered me a ride home. After completing the service the next day they had someone come to my house and pick me up. The fixed the problem with ease.I am leaving 2 stars because the Porsche Southpoint staff have always treated me with respect. In order to take the car to them I had to take time off work. When I arrived they were not able to help me. I believe that it’s unprofessional to confirm an appointment and not fulfill the clients needs when they show up. I will be glad to furnish all my email and text messages if they will be helpful to the dealership. I was also looking into purchasing a Turbo S they had in inventory but no longer really interested.

Zain and the service team does an excellent job. Had rear tires that were replaced last minute on Saturday with an oil service. By Tuesday one of the new tires had a slow leak. Called Zain and he had me in and out in 30 minutes to replace the tire with the defect. Great customer service!!!

We just took delivery of our first Porsche, a 2021 Boxster. Roy Roth was our Porsche Ambassador. He took great care of us during the entire process, as did Woody the financial manager. Our test rides were great, and Roy even drove out to our house to take my wife for a drive. The car was custom ordered from the factory. Although it took several months, the car came in almost a month early. Roy kept us updated the whole time. When it arrived, he took some great photos of it coming off the truck at the dealer. The entire process was excellent. Even after we drove it home, Roy was available to answer several questions we had after his initial briefing at the dealership. My husband and I wanted to come in and drive the Panamera. We really had no intentions of buying a car that day. We were introduced to Ian Mcneil who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told us all about the car and our options. Once coming in to the showroom we fell in love with the Taycan. He was very patient to show it to us and answer all of our questions. I am a first time Porsche buyer. As a first time Porsche buyer (and a younger guy), I was nervous, hearing stories about bad dealership experiences on Rennlist and other Porsche forums. I never had interaction with Porsche Southpoint prior to this, apart from visiting a couple cars and coffee events after placing my deposit. I first placed a deposit on a 718 GT4 in 2017, when the rumors of the car started appearing. This was done via Tom Roos, who has since retired. Tom was incredibly responsive and patient with me and a straight shooter. I felt like he took me under his wing and he loved just sitting and chatting about Porsche, his experience with the brand over the years, and teaching me everything I wanted to know. If he didnt know an answer, he would reach out to Porsche directly and get the answer. He told me that Porsche Southpoint sticks to the list and to not worry about an allocation given my place in line, as they got enough 981 GT4s to cover (4th). Being an enthusiast himself and a past President of the local PCA chapter, I didnt doubt him for a second.When Tom retired in 2019, he transferred me to Edwin Kratzat. Somehow, Edwin is even more incredible than Tom. Shortly after the transfer, Edwin and I walked through my build, he got me an allocation (November 2019) and we finalized it. He walked me through European Delivery options, PEC delivery options, logistics, etc. He made sure I knew when each of the build events were so I didnt miss a build lock in case I wanted to make some changes. He loved the options I selected and was glad I wasnt getting a boring color! Every step of the way, Edwin would always be available should there be any questions. Edwin made sure that I was always taken care of and he valued my time whenever I went to the dealership to chat. He made sure he was available and could spend as much time as I wanted with me. Hed always text me pictures of new cars they got (like a Heritage Speedster) and I appreciated that personal touch. It didnt feel like I was talking to a salesman, but my friend. I truly feel if I backed out of the purchase, he would still treat me as a friend.When COVID happened, I was still in a place to purchase the vehicle, so I did. Southpoint gave me a fair value on my trade (BMW M2) that alleviated the need for me to try to sell a car during COVID, for not much more money than a private party. They brought paperwork to me to do a porch signing and stayed as long as I needed to review everything.There was some confusion about my PEC Atlanta delivery due to COVID. There was some back and forth with Porsche about all cars getting routed to the dealer instead and a voucher to do the driving experience given. This posed a problem for me, namely that I set up a PPF appointment in Atlanta and put down a deposit I didnt want to lose. Edwin offered to pay for shipping the car down to Atlanta out of his own pocket. If thats not customer service, I dont know what is. Luckily it worked out that cars in transit were still going to Atlanta and PEC was able to open, but still. I was blown away. It would have cost him nearly $800 to do that (via Reliable Carriers) and he was more than happy to do that to make sure I was satisfied.After picking up the car at PEC Atlanta, Edwin has continued to stay in touch to make sure Im satisfied. I reach out if I have questions and hes always quick to respond. Based on my experience with Southpoint, and specifically Edwin, they have a customer for life. I look forward to my lifetime journey with Porsche. I also look forward to getting my next Porsche from Edwin (come on GT4RS!) and I know the experience will be just as great as the first time. Theres a reason they are a premier dealer, and the customer service is definitely some of the best Ive received across all industries. If youre local, you owe it to yourself to at least give Edwin a call. He will do absolutely everything he can to take care of you.

Porsche Southpoint Service is the Service Department all other dealerships should aspire have... they set the bar... they go above and beyond to ensure your comfort while you wait or get you in a loaner or will pick you up and drop you off where you need to go. Ed Prandi, specifically, is such a nice guy... always smiling, great at solving issues by going out of his way to ensure that you don’t need to go out of yours, and keeps you well informed the whole time. Plus, he’s really pretty.

This has been the very best car buying experience ever! All the salesmen at Hendrick are exceptionally helpful but one really stands out at Porsche- Ian McNeill. I just bought a 2020 Porsche Macan and I am loving it! I had the best experience at Porsche Southpoint. I went in trying to decide between two cars and they made it an easy decision. I worked with Roy Roth who was very helpful and knowledgeable. He wanted to give me the Porsche Experience and took me on a test drive that sealed the deal. He showed me how well the car handled and how fun it was to drive. He was very patient while I called my husband and told him I wanted to buy a car that night. Roy went over everything with him over the phone, staying past closing, and I put down a deposit. He even sent me a picture of the car all shiny and waiting for me, the morning I was going to pick it up. He took time to go over all of the features in the car and helped me set up my phone and other settings specifically for me. I highly recommend Porsche Southpoint and Roy Roth. They made the process very easy and actually fun!

The dealership did a great job handling my purchase. The challenge was inspecting a used vehicle that wasnt legally ready for sale yet, but we worked around it, they held onto it until a test drive could take place, and made the entire process about as painless as possible. With the co-title holder 2 hours away and unable to travel, the dealership sent a driver to get the paperwork signed and returned faster than we could have done it by overnight mailing it back and forth. The vehicle was fully detailed and filled with a tank of gas before pickup, in addition to having an oil change and two tires replaced. Big thank you to Gary Hamilton and Ian McNeill!

What a pleasure it was to work with Roy Roth! It is amazing how quickly some luxury car dealerships judge people. Not Roy! Even dressed casually on a lazy afternoon, he encouraged us to come into the showroom to take a closer look at the Macon S we were interested in learning more about. Upon a quick question on availability, he knew the inventory and had a match for us to consider immediately. A short test drive and we were talking numbers. From the start, it was clear we wanted to get the best deal we could, but he never implied, as we experienced at the Jagur dealership, we needed to explore a lower priced model. We both did some give and take to make the deal work for everyone. It was the end of a long day for us all and he even suggested waiting till the next day to be refreshed, which was wonderful. We are enjoying our new car and appreciate Roy’s help in our follow-up too!

The service delivered by Porsche South point is incredibly awesome. Ive been to multiple dealerships but the fun experience, teamwork, and knowledge were impressive.The service managers Edward and Zain are always very helpful to find a convenient time for an appointment, as well as always picking up and dropping off my car. The technicians perform the services quickly with a very detailed description of what was done, what I should look forward to servicing in the future, and a multi point checklist of the current condition of the most common wear items. Edward and Zain both go out of there way every single time I have service, to make sure that both my vehicle and myself are happy.

Great service provided by Zain and Edward. I came in for a state inspection and they took my car in immediately and the technician identified I had a coolant leak. I didn’t have time for the repair. But this didn’t stop them from putting me in a new Taycan courtesy car! The technician repaired the coolant leak and also completed the major service which was overdue. I am appreciative of there urgency and most importantly professionalism. I didn’t miss a day of work because they ended up arranging a valet service and came to my house and delivered my vehicle! Mix up with whether I needed a loaner, when I arrived they knew I was waiting and service advisor said tech will take car back in 5 mins. Nearly 30 mins later after no movement decided to cancel appointment.No respect for customer’s time.

Our experience was outstanding in purchasing our new 2021 Porsche Cayenne. This was largely due to the excellent support we received from Woody Clark. We dealt with Woody in purchasing our 2018 Cayenne 3 years ago. He helped us through the process of custom building our new Cayenne helping us to understand the value to us of various features After several iterations we finally decided on our custom build and woody kept us informed during the entire build and shipping process. On November 21 we arrived at his office. We first purchased our new Cayenne with his assistance followed by our son and his wife purchasing our 2018 Cayenne from the dealership following a trade-in of their Toyota Highlander. This required not only working through the purchase of our new vehicle, but carefully working through the Hendrick inspection process to make sure the purchase of our used vehicle was worry free. Bottom line is that working with a premier dealership like Southpoint along side a representative as qualified as a Woody Clark was an excellent experience.
