My husband stopped by on Friday to look at an Outback we saw online. When he came home and told me how much he liked the sales guy Vincent McLeod because he wasn’t “pushy” at all.We went back Saturday morning so I could also look at the Outback in person plus take it for a test drive and Vince was there to assist us.Let me just say, what a GREAT impression he had on me as well!We enjoyed working with Vincent! -He’s a very knowledgeable, friendly, and not at all pushy salesman! -Makes you feel comfortable and right at home!Thanks Vince and Hendrick Subaru for your customer service, attention to detail and our awesome Outback!

Came in to look at a used Outback and drove home with the new Outback Wilderness once I noticed it tucked away in a corner. Loved the atmosphere and felt welcomed the second I walked in the showroom. As soon as I got into the facility, I was greeted promptly by a friendly service coordinator, who immediately took over the car and directed me the waiting room.The waiting room was spacious, clean, with plenty of amenities that created an relaxing environment for the customer during the waiting time.From the beginning to finish, the whole process was handled professionally, and I as a customer, felt really at home, knowing the that service would be handled smoothly, and it sure was the case.I have owned 3 Subaru vehicles, and just moved to NC from the Midwest. I see many good reviews regarding the car buying experience at Hendrick’s Subaru; but after the sale, good service is paramount. My experience with servicing my Outback at Hendricks has been phenomenal. It is consistently the best automotive service I have had in all my years of owning a car. Much of my satisfaction is due to Ralph Higgs, my Service Advisor. Ralph has been assisting me for a couple of years now, and because of him every service visit has been a pleasure. Ralph is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure that I am totally satisfied each time I bring my vehicle in for service.

Did a 60,000 mile checkup on my Forester Subaru. They missed a slow oil leak due to a local oil change that was botched, but identified the problem quickly and fixed it quickly and for free when I pointed out that my garage floor had oil spots on it. Good service!

Scheduling service and entering the service is always an experience that I know will produce a positive outcome. The Service area is clean and the representatives are always friendly and really strive to put the customer first. There was one time in particular I had asked if there was an option that could be added to my Subaru and the technician working on my car took the time to research and find out if the option was available. Time After Time my experience with the service department has been above and beyond. In my opinion other dealerships in the area should strive to match the outstanding service that Hendricks Subaru Southpoint provides.

We worked with Will Lanter to review our options for the end of our lease of a 2019 Subaru Forester. Will worked with the Hendrick team to offer us an array of offers while keeping our budget and concerns in mind. On top of that, we always felt valued and understood - the opposite of some experiences we have had at other Subaru dealers. We ended up buying out our car that we loved at a price we could not refuse, and with a new warranty package that will give us peace of mind for many years to come. Also, they provided us with an amazing loaner car (Buick Envision, that changed my perceptions of this brand - luxury, top-of-the-line electronics, sound system, engine, security, and overall driving experience). Perfect service from client service to financing and to care of our car. Cant recommend Will and the Hendrick team enough!

Mackenzie Gibson was frankly awesome to work with. Not pushy at all. Knew the answers, or got the answers quickly to every question, both on the finance side, and more importantly on the vehicle side. Closed up the purchase paperwork with Brad and David. Particularly Jaqwuan Q Foster and David Hickerson were extremely friendly and helped me understand all of my options and explained my paperwork and everything I need to do following my appointment. The experience was discreet as far as finances go and provided wonderful customer service. I had an issue with a newly purchased vehicle in which when i put the window down then put it up, it let streaks. Because I park in a parking deck I have to use the window everyday. I went to Hendrick and was assigned to Jessica M as my service advisor. They took the vehicle back then shorty returned advising me that they cleaned the felts and that should fix the problem. I took the vehicle and after a few days called them back advising Jessica that the issue was not resolved. She told me she would run the issue with her service manager and I made another appointment for service (I took off from work for both appointments).On the second appointment they again said they would check on the issue. After a while Jessica advised me the service department was going to order new felts for the vehicle and that they would valet the vehicle this time. After they received the parts my vehicle was picked up from my home. After they picked up, I waited until late that day to check on the status. The woman who answered said my vehicle was ready for pick up. I told her it had been a valet pick up and she she would check and call me back. After a while a man called me back to advise me he was bringing it back. When it was returned I realized the streaking continued and there was no change with the issue. I called Jessica and left a message to which she never returned my call. I called the service department and asked to speak to a service manager. The woman that answered told me that she attempted to contact two service managers but neither answered their phones. She told me she would email both of them with my information and one of them would call me back. Neither of them did. It appears I have been “ghosted”. Jessica nor two service managers have contacted in any way shape or form. I have never been so slighted, disrespected and ignored for a legitimate concern. Communication is fundamental even if to say “I’m not sure want else we can do”. I am very disappointed in this unprofessional non communicative display. I hope no other customer is “ghosted” after they can’t resolve an issue.

I had such a great experience at Subaru Southpoint today that I just had to write a review. I brought my our Subaru Outback Wilderness in for service and had arranged for a loaner car to use while it was in the shop. Due to the inventory shortages that basically every dealership is facing right now, at first I was given the only thing that was readily available (an older model Ford Focus). At first this was fine but the car did smell of cigarette smoke and was very small; I didnt feel comfortable with it as I have a young daughter and transport her as well as two of her friends to and from school every day (among other things), and I was counting on having the top safety-rated Subaru to drive for the next day or so. I brought this up to Chris Kinkade, the rep I was working with, and he advocated for me to several different departments to make sure I got a Subaru loaner. He had to start the whole process over from scratch and really worked hard to make it happen. He even brought me chocolate while I waited! He could have been totally annoyed with me, but instead he was enthusiastic to accommodate me, and even shared that, being a parent himself, he understood completely how important it is to do whatever we have to do to keep our kids safe. His kindness and great service really meant a lot to me, and I hope he is recognized at the office for being such an outstanding representative. I was already totally Subaru-loyal, but this has just confirmed why! Thank you Chris and everyone at Hendrick Subaru for your help today!

We loved our sales staff member, as much as it’s possible to like someone who you’re giving thousands of dollars to. He was so helpful and not pushy— just attentive and really earnestly wanted to help us find what we wanted. The only negative part of the experience was that despite doing a lot of the process online (credit check, price negotiations, etc) to save time, the paperwork portion still took over 1 1/2 hours in the dealership.

I cannot say enough great things about the service I received yesterday. I had forgotten to get my state inspection done and my registration was about to expire, I also knew I needed tires. I had no appointment and felt really bad just dropping in but I was desperate. I was treated like family from the moment I arrived. Not only did they get me in for the inspection but they had the tires I needed in stock AND made time to install them even though they were extremely busy. I know how disruptive it can be when someone drops in like I did but they didn’t miss a beat and gave me the best service I think I have ever received. I made the appointment online. I clearly stated that I needed my GPS updated. I got a reminder call the day before my appointment. I clearly stated that I needed my GPS updated. When I dropped the vehicle off I clearly stated I needed the GPS updated. When I dropped the vehicle off I was told it would be washed and the inside vacuumed. When I arrived to pickup the vehicle I noticed on the receipt that the GPS had not been updated. The service rep told me that this wasnt something they could do. He handed me a sheet of paper and told me to do it myself. Great if you have a computer capable of doing this. I do not. So, after stating three times why the vehicle was there I dont understand why I had to be surprised at pickup that the work couldnt be performed. Furthermore the receipt for the work says that I got a car wash and vacuuming, which I did not. The exterior and interior look just the same as when the car was brought in. I hope you can understand why I will never return to Hendrick for service.

I bought my car at Hendrick last year and it was a great experience. I bought the service package and they take great care of my car, but every visit takes hours. This is no exaggeration: every single time I have brought my car in, they never tell me my car is ready unless I ask. It doesn’t matter if I’m waiting there or waiting at my house. *I* have to follow-up. *I* have to ask the Client Care Specialist if my car is ready. They have never call/text to let me know. How is that okay???? P.S. the mechanics always overfill my tires.

One of the most disappointed day of my entire life. I went to accompany my colleague who is new in town and not too fluent in English. He liked a car in this dealership and we went to finalize the deal. As soon as the dealer named Raja saw me with my friend he was too disrespectful to me. He thought I was there to bargain the price and break the deal. He told me that I cannot accompany my friend unless my friend Said yes!! Of course my friend told yes!! This is the time I have felt so disrespected in my life. He was charging approximately 9 percent interest, I asked if I can be a co-signer so that the interest rate goes down he said his company doesn’t support co-signer if you are a friend. I explained every fees they were charging to my friend. Finally my friend was okay with the price as he was desperate need of car. Such a bad experience, I would never be a car dealer if I have to be so much disrespectful to customer. I bet the car was the best deal for this entire dealership office but I felt low as I cannot help my friend as a co-signer though I was with me.

This was not my first wonderful experience working with Hendrick Subaru, however it is the one that stands above all others. Six months ago I came to this dealership which I had purchased two other vehicles through already in search of a vehicle for my son. I worked with a gentleman named Dominick Ross in locating a vehicle that would meet all of my conditions but, unfortunately, we couldn’t immediately satisfy what I was looking for. Half a year later I’m back in to find a car for myself and upon entry Dominick not only immediately recognized me but our previous encounter in vivid detail and embarked on a thorough search for what I was looking for. I must admit that I wasn’t entirely confident that we would accomplish this expeditiously as the market at this time doesn’t necessarily warrant specificity and I left after a brief but fruitful exchange. Less than half an hour later, I received a call from Dominick exclaiming that he had found and brought over the exact car that I was looking for. Excited but skeptical, I rushed back to the dealership to find, as Dominick had stated, the exact car that I was looking for. Over the course of the next two hours and a brilliant level of banter, I had shown my wife my potential vehicle, qualified and resolved my questions and concerns and signed paperwork. While simple articulation won’t do the time I spent at Hendrick Subaru Southpoint justice, it was a seamless, fluid and positively enjoyable experience. I truly am writing this to illuminate the unparalleled professionalism and salesmanship of my sales person Dominick Ross with whom I look forward to working with again in the future and the combined and determined efforts of the General Sales Manager Brad Woolley and New Car Manager William Priest. Together, they imparted an experience that I never before imagined was accessible at a car dealership. Thank you all so much, I am looking forward to enjoying my new car!

Hendrick Subaru gave me the best car buying experience I’ve had to date. My salesperson, Vince, was absolutely wonderful at getting me into the car I’ve wanted for ages, making sure that I was happy with my purchase, and very thoroughly explaining every feature and option and answering all of my millions of questions. He did not pressure me or make me feel rushed (things I’ve dealt with previously at other dealerships) and was so patient and thorough. The customer service was wonderful — everyone from finance to other salespeople making sure I didn’t need anything while I was waiting, and the lovely woman at the front desk who chatted with me about our mutual love of camping. My husband and I stopped by there on Monday to look at a car we saw on cars guru they had listed. The vehicle was in use while someone’s car was being serviced but our sales Person Christopher Lowery reassured me that it would arrive the next day (Tuesday) and that it would be delivered for a 24hr test drive. Around 7pm Tuesday I receive a call that the vehicle has not been returned back so we pushed it to Wednesday. After receiving no call on Wednesday I called Thursday morning and left a message for Christopher but never received a call back. Im quite upset at the lack of customer service. This is not a place I will put such a large amount of money in. I just took this experience as a sign.

Theyre usually very busy, so it can sometimes be difficult to get an appointment scheduled at a convenient time, but its worth it. He was very friendly and personable, and his attentive but still relaxed style worked really well for us; we never felt like he was trying to hard sell us on anything. He was also clearly knowledgeable about Subarus and easily answered any questions we had. We had a good time just chatting with him and he made the entire process much more fun than it usually is! I am disabled and had my 5 yr old Granddaughter with me. The whole transaction went well. We do feel we were overcharged for the Extended Warranty. Buyer Beware: I know that car dealerships don’t keep their online listings up-to-date, most likely on purpose, just so they can get you into the showroom and sell you something, anything. So that’s why I called ahead to verify that the car I wanted to see was currently available. I had previously received an email stating the car was available, but I wanted to speak with a real, live person to be sure before I drove 20 minutes to the dealership. I spoke with Brittany, who assured me the car was available and offered to make me an appointment to see it, which I did, for just 30 minutes later. I arrived at the dealership and the receptionist obviously didn’t know about my appointment and asked me to take a seat. Then a salesman came out to tell me the car had been sold for about a week. Of course, I told him I was very disappointed because I had wasted gas and time to drive to the dealership and that they were not honest with me when I called about the car. He gave me some excuse about the computer program not being able to mark listings as ‘purchase pending’. I reminded him that it is 2021 and that is just nonsense. But most importantly, they weren’t honest when I called to check on the car. Then the salesman wanted me to sit with him while he checked for other cars that might work for me. Exactly as they had planned. Pass. I don’t mind paying for good, honest customer service. But I’m not handing thousands of dollars over to reward sneaky, dishonest business.Edit: I just saw Hendrick’s response to my review. It’s the same stock response they give to every negative review. They don’t care and are not interested in improving. Keep that in mind before shopping here if you value your time and money.

Went in for airbag recall + wash, left with a half dirty car and some new dents.A few weeks back, I took in my 08 Legacy for airbag recall, alignment, and wash. That car was done perfectly, came out looking brand new, alignment was spot on.Today, I took in my 07 Outback for the same treatment. Airbag was done first. I then received a call saying they would not do an alignment due to low tread on my tires, but were happy to offer a $800 quote on new tires. Declined as I had brand new tires set aside for after my alignment was done. So in it went for a wash and was then ready for pick up.My wife picked the car up. She did not notice much in the service bay due to the lighting. Once she left and stopped for gas, she noticed that theres a nice fresh dent in the quarter panel, as well as large amounts of paint missing on the passenger door trim. The headlights are also now foggy and hazed over, they were crystal clear prior. There are large amounts of the car that are still covered in dirt.The previous owner highly recommended Hendrick. She had the car serviced by Hendrick for over a decade with nothing but positive things to say.Have contacted Hendrick directly and am bringing the car by to see if they can do anything to fix the problems. Not happy with how the car came back to us.

My husband and I bought a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek from Hendrick Subaru of Southpoint about a month ago. We had an awesome buying experience thanks to our wonderful salesman Vincent. He greeted us right away and listened to all our needs (and wants) and led us to the perfect car! He was very knowledgeable and patient. He made the usual stressful car buying experience easy and fun. We also love how Subaru has you come back after a couple of weeks to review the car with you after you have had time to drive it and ask any questions you may have. They also give you a $25 gas card just for coming! On the day we bought our car it was rainy and dreary so Vincent offered to give us a free car wash when we came back to review the car. He kept true to his word and had our car detailed before we left! Overall great car buying experience and would definitely recommend them if you are in the market for a Subaru!!

This was honestly the BEST experience I’ve EVER had at a car dealership… and I’ve purchased a LOT of cars in my lifetime! From the second I got there (before then really, starting with Britney’s call and text), I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I was greeted immediately by Dubois, and he introduced me to Vince. After being offered a water, I sat down with Vince and had so much FUN! It was like we were friends that had known each other forever. Dubois checked on me a few times to make sure I was happy and all my questions were answered. Vince was not only easygoing, he was VERY knowledgeable and extremely PATIENT with me. I fell in love with a car without any pressure at all, and the process continued. Thats when David joined the party, and helped with all the numbers and details in the most friendly way imaginable. Everything went very smoothly, and I am NOT an easy person to deal with in general haha. I could go on & on, but bottom line is, I would never go to another dealership again… & my new car is amazing!!! Thanks y’all!

This is my third purchase with Hendrick/Hendrick Subaru. I’ve worked with Will all the three times, him as a new sales person to his current position as sales manager. It’s been a pleasure each time and we quickly piece together details of wants, needs and focus on available inventory and possible trade options.This purchase was a trade of my ‘19 forester for a ‘21 cross trek. Even though mine was in perfect shape except I was facing a new windshield replacement. We factored the repair into the trade. They picked up a desirable pre-owned car and I benefitted from the lower mileage of a new vehicle. I recommend speaking with Will as part of any transaction. Another plus, is no constant back and forth to multiple managers for this and that games.Worked the vehicle process with Mackenzie. Young, smart, technical, mechanically knowledgeable and personable. He took care of all the logistical details. I only needed to empty my car at the end.Finished the paperwork with Chris in finance. The desktop imager used to review and sign paperwork was so easy and effective use of new technology and elimination of actual paper. Screen size made it easy to read and understand and I left with a USB stick with all my documents on it.Bottom line is they don’t play games. I believe Subaru quality and reliability sell the cars, but you still need quality people to transmit the message and take away the fear of the purchase.I was visiting my kids in the area and ended up with a newer car. My kids each have Subaru’s and go back to Hendrick for their next ones, when ready for newer models.

When my car was ready it started raining, and the service center called me immediately asking if I needed a ride back because of the weather! Bob was super-helpful from the get-go, allowing us to keep the car for a prolonged test drive and bending over backwards to make sure that all of our needs were met and questions answered. We just bought an Outback at this dealership- and the experience was great (long! but thats to be expected buying a new car). Our salesperson Benny was knowledgeable and so nice! He answered all our questions, was patient and considerate. We also got a great deal with their financing, although wed been preapproved with our CU, they got us a little better rate. They had great social distancing protocols and wore masks, which we appreciated. Benny even took the time to pair my phone with the car. Overall a great experience!!
