I thought the service was great, took me back right away. Everyone was pleasant. But then the doctor rushed me through my eye exam. When it was over, I was given a sample pair of contact lenses with my new prescription. I mentioned a few times that the prescription seemed off, and was told to give it a few days. I got the glasses prescription filled, and as soon as I got them back, I knew the prescription was wrong. I called Eyes on Merritt and was told they would talk to the doctor. I called twice that week and finally heard back on a Friday that the doctor wanted to see me again to verify my prescription, but couldn’t see me until Monday unless I could leave work early and male it to the facility by 4pm. Because I didn’t want to go through the weekend without the correct prescription, I left work early and went in to be checked again. He changed my prescription to something completely different and then told me he thought I had an astigmatism. Gave me a few different contact lenses to try. None of them corrected my blurry vision. They essentially told me they didn’t know what to do for me. Said they would order a different brand of contacts and call me back when they came in. I never received a follow up call, and ended up having to go to VisionWorks and pay for another eye exam in order to get the correct prescription. Waste of time and money.

Lenses with terribly made flames are not a good quality very displeased and very dissatisfied were not recommend this place to anyone my boyfriend also got a pair of glasses and he was very dissatisfied and I spent $500 for mine and he spent close to 400 for his I do not recommend this place

I couldnt get an appointment for four weeks because that was their earliest time available. Keep in mind I have a VERY flexible work schedule and still couldnt get anything earlier. Then 2 weeks later they call and cancel my appointment because the doctor wont be in. Good luck getting an appointment. I wont go back there again. I doubt they will be in business much longer there.

From start to finish, everything was very easy to understand and the staff is super friendly. I do wish they had a bigger option of frames in the more afford range, because if it wasnt for the sale they had running. I wouldnt have been able to get my glasses, part was from my insurance and the other part was the small selection. Other then needing to expand their selection of frames. This place is top notch and the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything.

I have been waiting for a month after my exam to receive my glasses I called to ask why they were not ready they implied they had been sent to 2 different labs and that my lenses were on back order I requested my fraims back a week later still no frames

Great Atmosphere. Though it was my first time at Eyes on Merritt, the eye doctor and staff were very welcoming. Eye exam was quick and efficient. The eye doctor provided great analysis on my current eyesight and the staff gave great feedback on the types of frames I should consider for my new prescription. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering to find new frames or an eye exam

Very nice place, the people are very friendly, the lady at the front desk was so polite she complimented my hair and even helped me pick out my glasses since i was so indecisive and was having a hard time choosing lol. This was my first time going here and i definitely recommend them!

Its their policy not to return money if the glasses do not work out. I had gotten progressive lenses they did not work out now they are telling me they cannot refund my money for them even though I paid $550 for them. I did take the bifocal. They only want to give you credit for the next time you come in. What happens if you dont go back there.

Would highly recommend to anyone. The staff and doctor are very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Im new to the area and checked out several places before finding Eyes on Merritt. There is no reason to look further....these guys are GREAT!!!

The doctor who examined my eyes for contacts was great. She was very understanding and helpful. Krista is fantastic. She was very very helpful. She always greets you with a smile. She is friendly and so polite. She makes your day. They are definitely a 5. Keep up the great work.

I have worn glasses since grade school & this is honestly the nicest place I have been. Front desk very helpful, and nice. The doctors are very concerned & caring I had a scare with the nerves & pressure in my eyes & they followed through had follow ups to make sure it wasn’t anything serious. Definitely going to be my go to eye doctor as well referred my dad to them. 5 stars all the way the price was great as well!!

Purchased glasses about a month ago and my two year old grabbed them and broke them. Sioux took then back and mmicelke repaired them right away. So thankful for great customer service that us rare these days.i highly recommend this place

We recently switched eye doctors, as we were not happy with our eye doctor, nor our sons pediatric eye doctor. I will be upfront in saying that we mainly chose Eyes on Merritt because of the close proximity to our home. That said, we couldnt be happier with our choice.The front desk staff made scheduling & rescheduling our appointments super easy. When it came time for me to pick out new glasses, they were patient and helpful and gave me plenty of time to feel confident in my choice.The doctor was very thorough and took plenty of time to explain things to me and help me with some minor issues. It was during this time, that I felt she may be a good fit for my son, who is on the autism spectrum. When I asked about bringing him in for a check-up, the doctor took the time to ask me several questions about how his autism affects him, and how she could best help. She gave me some tips on the best time to schedule an appointment, for when she is generally less busy, so that she could give him any additional time he needed. Then, the front desk staff worked to find an appointment that both fit with my sons school schedule, as well as when the doctor would be able to give him additional time.Additionally, when filling out his new patient paperwork, there was a section for how to best accommodate his needs, which were then followed by the staff and doctor. A total win! My sons last appointment at an eye doctor was a disaster and he was very nervous at having to come back to an eye doctor. Im pleased to say that he left his check-up happy and no longer anxious about having his eyes examined. He said he cant wait to go back and even picked out a sticker to give the doctor, for being so nice to him. The doctor was kind, patient, and gave him the time and space he needed to get through the exam.We are thrilled with having found such a great doctor and staff so close to our home!

I had a great experience at this office! All members of the staff were kind and extremely helpful! They assisted me with getting my prescription transferred to their office and obtaining contacts. I highly recommend this eye doctors office to everyone!

I really wanted to like this place. The doctor was very patient and thorough in examining my 8 year old daughter. My issue came when it was time to pick frames and order glasses. The lady in the front (short blonde side-swept hair) told me I get a $70 allowance and a 20% discount. I know that my insurance covers frames and lenses at 100% once a year, so when I told her this, she dismissively waved to the included frames and said that’s those over there. My daughter actually loved one of those pairs and we chose those. When we we’re doing the paperwork, she kept insisting she needed the anti-reflective coating. I declined graciously several times, but she just kept being more insistent until finally I snapped a little and said “She’s 8, she doesn’t drive, she sits in a classroom, and frankly, I can’t afford it at the moment.” When my daughter went back to see the doctor again after her eyes had dilated, the doctor said she saw that I’d declined the coating and again started trying to sing it’s praises until I had to snap again. I, in no way, ever had any intention on being rude, I understand you’re trying to make sales, but when you’re lying by omission about what my insurance covers and then hounding me over a coating that a child doesn’t need, you need to find better sales tactics. It’s a shame, because the doctor was good and I had planned on returning to get glasses and paying out-of-pocket for prescription sunglasses for myself, but I’ll take my business somewhere that won’t make me feel like I’m terrible mother, despite doing the best that I can as a single parent.

Best place I have been to for glasses. I was going to Visionworks but decided to try somewhere new. This place was phenomenal. Quick service, the staff was beyond friendly and helpful, and the selection of glasses to choose from was great. I will definitely be going back.

Very rude and nasty staff. I had a appointment that I made with the receptionist for my daughter. When I arrived, my daughter was not on the schedule at all. The same receptionist was extremely rude and defensive. As soon as the manager or owner (not sure which he is) arrived she made it seem as though she was being verbally attacked by me and that she was trying to apologise. She raised her voice and said Just take me out back and shoot me in front of my 6 year old. I understand people can make schedule mistakes but I always put it in my calendar as I make the appointment. To me she was very unprofessional and that attitude is going to make people not want to stick around. If the receptionist would of handled the situation better, I would of just made a different appointment.
