I was working with Michael, who is awesome, but unfortunately I came when he wasnt around and I literally stood in the middle of the floor waiting for someone to help me with zero attention. I dont look like someone who was there to buy, I dress casually and look young, but I was ready to drop a few thousand dollars in tile...if someone had bothered to talk to me. Not even a greeting. Other people came in and they were offered help by eager sales people, but not me.I received a couple calls from the manager after posting this review offering to make it right. The whole experience eroded my confidence in the floor store so much that no discount could have erased the bad taste it left me with. I ended up doing business with bay area tile and hardwood supply instead. Better prices, zero pressure, transparent and more important: zero discrimination and excellent customer service. The Floor Store should take note.

I hopefully dont make this too long but back in 2019 I was in the middle of my home remodel and looking for a flooring company. Although I live in Walnut Creek, I was told by a friend to try the Floorstore (FS) in Dublin. And honestly, the beginning was fine, met with a representative he walked me through the pricing and different floors and I picked a floor out in my price range. However, the rep (although a nice guy) said my floors were fine to install and it turned out there were issues with the floor that I picked. We figured this out a quarter way through with the job. However, the FS, in particular, their regional VP (I think that is her title) Cambria came in and made it right. She didnt charge me anything for picking out a new floor or cost for demo or anything. We went with a thicker dark brown oiled floor that looked great (see pictures). However, we noticed early on while living on the new floors that the brown finish was coming up. We drop jelly and wait an hour to clean it up there became a white mark on the floor, we purchased the correct cleaning agent from the manufacturer, but it still did not matter our finishes were coming up all over the 1300+ sqft of floor in the house. Looked like our floors had eczema. The manufacture sent their inspectors out who said the cause for the finish coming up was due to a maintenance issue by the homeowner (too much elbow grease?). Regardless of this claim, Cambria sent out their best installer who recognized in a matter of minutes that something was off with these floors and they were defective. Now the FS could have still gone with their manufacture and hid behind that or tried to say well we did your demo for free and blah blah blah you pay half the cost. But they didnt, Cambria came out a second time and said it is our fault we will make it right we will give you a full refund and no cost to demo. And for the third time, I picked out floors more expensive than my prior ones got a fabulous discount, and didnt pay anything for installation, demo, furniture removal, custom refrigerator removal,  or anything. They sent me one of their best installers Bojan  Milosevic from European floors and they did a great job on the installation. Any issues we had with the floor or minor touch-ups with repainting the baseboards we needed they took care of.  The reason I wrote such a detailed review was not just to say the FS  is fabulous and there were no hiccups and that is why you should pick them but instead show you they are like all companies hardworking honest but not perfect. They have leadership that will fix their mistakes and tries their best to make it right and honestly that is all I can hope for in a company. I know there may be cynics who say, I should have not gone through any of that. Well I can tell you life is not perfect and Companies like the FS help make an imperfect world much easier to navigate.  I would highly recommend this company! I would have been five stars but I we did have to wait a year for perfection. :)

Carlos Amaya is wonderful to work with! We are changing our kitchen backsplash; however, we know very little about tile and what product would be best. He is very knowledgeable about tile, and he was patient in answering our many questions. He also helped us look up other tiles that might look good in our kitchen. He went above and beyond to deliver the tile and trim to our home because of some delivery issues with the vendor shipper. We highly recommend the Floor Store in Dublin, and we would recommend that you ask for Carlos. You will be very pleased with his service and his professionalism! He made this project fun!!

The first time I visited the floor stores Carlos was very quick to greet me as soon as i entered. He showed me around and educated me on all the benefits of the luxary vynals. I recommend using the floor store if youre getting carpet and/or hardwood. Weve had two interactions with the Floor store in 2020 and both have been positive. Orders were fairly straight forward, pricing was better than stores in surrounding areas, communication was excellent, and installation was great (we only had carpet installed). We had a minor hiccup with the nails used to keep carpet secure at door transitions poking up, however, we notified Floor Store and had a repair guy come out in a few days. Overall, were really happy and will order and install with them again next time we need hardwood or carpet.

Terrible service. Placed the order at Dublin location, scheduled a delivery. Never received the tile because store employee was new and didnt place the order correctly. Placed the order again. Again order was delayed. Talked to the manager, canceled the order. Instead of crediting money back to my credit card, I was charged again. Now I have to call back. So much time is wasted!

I was a bit cautious about coming to the Floor Store, considering theyre a large business for this sort of thing and I was worried my small job would be disregarded by the staff. Luckily (before COVID) I ran into the tall guy, Aaron, and couldnt have felt better about coming to this location to get some info, and ultimately making a purchase. Being a guy in tech, I know little to nothing about flooring, but Aaron broke everything down for me, and explained the options as to what I was looking for. He ultimately talked me into going with the vinyl plank in my kitchen, and seeing it in person after its been installed, I couldnt be more thrilled. Im making sure all my friends and family come here in the future for flooring needs, and asks for Aaron. A+ service for Aaron and the installation team!

We had two occasions to deal with the Floor Store in Dublin. On one one occasion they installed flooring in our place of business and on another they ordered the flooring for our home. Both times we received outstanding professional services. The staff, Jill whom we dealt with delivered on every promise both in quality, cost and timeliness. Her services were of the highest quality. Bought St Helens store engineering floor 946 sq ft beautiful but soft planks scratch easily. Sales team is not there to provide pros and cons of your choices, jard to return calls, carpet section not interested in provide good shopping experience and manager hard to reach. I chose another merchant for carpet. Watch out for non refundable items. I will never buy again from them

Noah has to be the greatest salesman in that store. What a guy. I came in looking for carpet and he really stepped up to my super picky demands. He spent a good chunk of his day going through every carpet with me and helped me pick out my perfect carpet. And at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend Noah and the Floor Store for anyone looking for flooring.

I had the most rewarding experience working with Project Manager David Chen. When I went into the store I knew the brand and style of tile I was wanted I even came in with the sample tile. He was impressed that I came prepared. Then he started asking about the grout and molding I was so overwhelmed because this was all new to me. I was going from hardwood floors to tile. David was very patient and said we will do this together. It took me a while to decide on the grout color and the molding and David wasnt pushy at all. He said call him when I am ready and he would order the tile. The order was placed and he kept me updated on the delivery of the tile. When it arrived he called and advised the Installation Department would be calling to schedule an install date. I am overly impressed on how professional David was and stayed in communications with me until I was completely satisfied with the work.

Materials werent ordered until more than 10 days following the measurements being done and then installation couldnt be scheduled until after materials arrived at which point we had to wait another two weeks. All of which could have been avoided if materials were ordered promptly. Poor customer experience.

I would highly recommend the floor store for anyone looking for their flooring projects. My sales person Chris was just the nicest person ever and made our experience enjoyable. We came in to look at hardwood. After a while of looking at different wood samples, we picked out a few that we liked. While looking at the different hardwoods, my wife ventured off into the tile section and had the idea to redo our kitchen as well. I initially thought that it was all going to be super expensive, but after Chris came out and measured my house, he sent us a quote for the hardwood and tile and I was shocked at how reasonable the price was. We pulled the trigger and are in love with how our house looks. Chris was superb and I will absolutely come back for my future projects.

We purchased our flooring from Pleasanton location. Brian Brewer was our sales rep and he was super helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend Brian as a sales associate and will work with him in the future.

When we visited the Dublin store to select our new kitchen flooring, Noah was awesome to work with and spent considerable time discussing our options. We were allowed to take several samples with us, which really helped, as we had new cabinets and nearby flooring to match. We chose the Wayfarer’s Rest series, which simulates real wood planks. We had to go with vinyl flooring, as our house is really old (built in 1910) and a lot of settling has taken place, so it is not only not square, but not level in spots. Our installer did a great job considering these challenges, and we are very impressed with his work. Our new floor looks awesome! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there were scheduling issues and some communication problems but, in the end, we are very happy with the finished product!

Came to Pick up materials at 9:30am as it states they open at 9am. Nobody showed up to the store until 10am. I had to call around to 2 other store to get someone to tell me what was going on. Unprofessional Service when I called the corporate office. I will do my best to avoid ordering materials from this company from now on and I will advise my clients to stay away.***UpdateAfter sitting in the pouring rain, for over a half hour trying to track them down.Not only did the employee Bad mouth me to our client, we have multi broken tiles in the load. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, Thank you to the corporate office for responding, But I need them to train the employees to be professional and courteous!

Im writing this review after my recent call today with the store manager. Heres my long story:We placed the order on May 7th for a laminate that matched our existing installation and its not a small order (atleast for us). At the time of sale, the sales person confirmed that we will get the product in typically 4-5 business days for the brand we selected. We were told will get an ETA in about a day and will be called to let us know the same. Heres where the problem lies for a company that claims customer satisfaction. THEY NEVER CALLED. I called and left 2 voicemails and my call was never returned. Since i stay close (within walking distance of the store), i went to inquire and there comes the 1st lie: The supplier has not given us an ETA, will call them and give you a timeline. AGAIN THE CALL NEVER CAME to update me.I again went back to store and same response. Finally, i managed to talk to the sales person on 5/14 on phone to my surprise and he confirmed the laminate will be delivered on 5/16 or 5/17. So today 5/16 I called up to inquire and heres the shocker after series of lies. The product now will be delivered on 5/29. I had lined up my contractor based on the time they gave to pick up the boxes and start work. Now, with this 2 weeks out time (which I dont still trust), my contractor cannot commit on his next availability and wants me to pick up the boxes from their warehouse and once i have it at home, hell do the installation for us. They dont even want to deliver the boxes to us for a mistake of their own and put us in this situation to run around and cause delay in our work.5/31: The product was delivered today without any charges to me. This happened after i spoke to the General Manager and it wouldnt have been possible without her involvement. The GM is a nice person and found shes the only one who really cares about the customer. Im giving 3 stars for overall experience and GMs effort in getting this resolved on time and keeping her word is really appreciated.

Everyone was busy when I walked into the store and after 20 minutes I found a sample. Had to find someone to checkout the sample they charge at $56 deposit to take it home for 24 hours. Other places I have gone to actually took the time to find out about my flooring project. Will not be going back.

After we committed ourselves to laminate floors (due to limited budget) the installer informed us that he couldn’t do the stairs (from carpet to laminate) and keep it to code.If someone would had informed us ahead we could have gone with hardwood instead and keep carpet in the stairs. But by then rooms were already done with laminate. Too late.

I ordered some carpet, they told me to be ready to pick up in 3 days, finally I get after 2 weeks, very bad and I had final inspection,
