Super helpful in helping you find what your looking for. Shout out to Marcus in framing, help me measure my picture, and show me layer matting, and a frame that highlight my picture making it pop! Craft goods galore, takes time to comprehend just how much inventory they have. Biggest downside is there is never enough cashiers to handle the lines without delay. Its like they dont realize that our time is valuable. There are other craft stores, probably time to check them out and find more pleasant sales associates.

Micheals store is my fav go to art store. But when I visited this store at Dublin, CA I had a appalling customer experience at the custom framing section. I had 2 large maps that I wanted to frame, and I waited for the customer before me to finish to be helped by ‘Diana’. She told me that my only option was to buy a $200 frame for each of my maps as they were oversized. I asked her if she had anything more affordable and pointed to a simple frame displayed nearby. She was extremely rude while telling me that I was standing at a ‘custom framing’ section and that they don’t make “cheap frames” used only quality material and that I need to look elsewhere for a frame like that! I was shocked by her tone because it sounded like she was trying to show me down! Seemed like her tone was racially motivated as I saw her being sweet to the customer before me (who was of a different color). After she was done with me, she just abruptly turned around and started attending other customers.Brown customers wanting to frame, beware of racially biased customer service at Micheals

Ive lived in several different states and always been a fan of Michaels. They are all pretty much the same but what stood out at this location was the super helpful, kind staff. Honestly, in the past the staff at most of the stores were pretty rude and I just shrugged it off. But this location really surprised me. This is a good spot.

Was looking for adhesive backing for latch hook rugs. The first employee I asked had no idea what I was talking about, said they didnt carry it. Another employee said, that if they did have it, it would be with the sewing items. It wasnt. Asked the woman working at the framing desk, she told us where it should be, but she wasnt sure since she didnt work on the sales floor. It was EXACTLY where she said it would be. How did someone who does NOT work on the sales floor know where to find it, when the woman who DOES work on the floor said they didnt carry it? Walked the whole store because the first TWO employees I talked to had no clue.

Over the years I have managed to buy many items for different craft projects. This time I was able to buy a small item and use in-store pickup which easy.

Pretty good selection of products. I shopped in the Dublin store last week. They had quite a bit of holiday merchandise displayed.

Well stocked store &:online pick up made it even easier to get what I needed.

It is Always Clean and available accommodations every time i choose to go there. Right now in this Pandemic Quarters are running low so Please bring some with you because the Change Machines arent Working right now. Its very airy with big windows in a small corner of a Strip mall.

It’s fine for buy some craft supplies, but when there are more than two people shopping it takes a lot of time because of the slow cashiers. The shop if often messy specially during the sales season and you have to take your time for find anything. And if you want to shop something please don’t place an internet order!!!! They are going to miss the items, deliver the order incomplete and the customers service is a nightmare.

This particular Michaels had 5 starts from me ... Until today. First, out of order bathroom? Seriously? Where do the staff use the restroom then? Second, one of the managers was hanging out near the entrance chatting on his cell phone. How unprofessional. I asked another employee where a specific item was and she literally said, Umm Im not sure. Did you check in the Craft Section? What happened to leading the way and helping locate? Pathetic. Never going to THAT Michaels again! Shame!

Michaels is a craft store and a little bit more. The lines have gotten better in recent months, more organized. Prices are good - especially with coupons. DOWNLOAD the coupons! There are often 50% or even 60% off coupons. Parking for this location is easy- large lot.

Went to pick up a special glue that dries clear.They had just gotten it back in stock.Stock levels were VERY LOW throughout the store.90% of Christmas merchandise was gone.I craft and usually pick upHoliday goods on sale.Not much available.

Im not a crafter so I go here to have pictures framed. Ive been very happy with that service. This time I went online to see what I needed for a work Halloween event. Website even told me what aisle!! I could have ordered online but wanted to check how accurate the website was. Very accurate. Line to pay want fast. Next time Ill order online and just pick up. Nice feature.

I would give most Michaels a 4, but this store seems to have particularly limited stock when it comes to arts and crafts. For example, we needed to purchase a needlepoint hoop, they didnt carry any wood ones at the time (a craft store basic). We have had similar issues at other times. Generally, the prices are affordable, especially if you download the app and use their coupons.

I always go to check out the local Michaels when I travel. As always this location like others I have stopped at was tidy, clean and very brightly lit (Thank you! makes it easier to choose beads and such when it is easy to see). Quick to find everything and the store had everything I needed, plus a couple extra items I wasnt planning on. Staff was pleasant and helpful as always.

Be aware! Prices of items in-store are jacked up compared to their own website pricing.When I showed a lower price of an item on their website, the cashier snapped at me. She says she cant control online prices. Fair enough. But I asked her if she can match their price, cause thats what usually big box stores do, she refused! I had to ask for manager.In comes manager and he agrees to match online price but refuses to honor 40% off discount coupon that I had. Theyre reasoning is there system can only honor one of it.That is not right. I had to argue with the manager for a while to get both price match and discount

This Michaels store is huge, very organized and clean. Employees were helpful and they had everything on my list. Parking was good, theres a large parking lot and several large stores in this strip mall.

I love Michael’s! But this store could not bother to look something up for me. I was on hold for 18 minutes. Under any other circumstance I would not bother but it was late and did not think taking the 25 minute drive with my infant down there to check if this store had the item was necessary, due to the prompt response and help I get at the one in San Leandro. I am literally at Michael’s at least once a week if I’m lucky to find the stuff I need in one store. Definitely not taking a drive to this one.

We were there to pickup an order. But it took 15 mins for it to show up. But several employees asked if we were being helped.

This store is old. Its not like the new one in Pleasant Hill. However, I would say it is better organized. For instance, the Create 365 items are together on a four piece. Whereas at the Pleasant Hill store, you have product on the aisle at the front of the store, and then on a four piece in the middle of the store. Talk about confusing! (When I was taking a class with my friend, I would direct her to get items, and she couldnt find them and vice versa. We finally figured it out that we were talking about two separate locations. Ugh!)I digress. The customer service was good in helping me find the Create 365 product and the cashier was good. Although, it was slow checking out. Only two cashiers were up front. The Pleasant Hill store normally has an abundance of cashiers for quicker check out.

Best place to shop if you love arts and crafts ! They have everything they also host a spring break art class mon- friday . Cant wait to attend . I wouldnt mind helping teach also.

Well organized and clean!

One of my daughter and grandmas favorite stores. And one of the few times I can actually handle just looking around as the two of them have such a blast!! This is a good thing as it seems like the staff is always really busy.Dont think Ive ever left with less than ten new craft projects in mind... lol.

Large store, fairly well organized, but a little hard to find help when you are searching for something. I love the variety that this store has for crafts and DIY projects, but there are so many items that its not always easy to find what you need. I appreciate that for the most part everything is in its place and its clean and neat. However I made it through most of the store before I found an available associate to help me locate what I needed. Prices are okay, but better if you have a coupon.

I love Michaels. I can find anything I need for planning my daughters Quinceañera at Michaels. I actually find too much because every time I go for something specific I always find something else I want too.

I stopped by Michaels for some new writing supplies I.e. some pens and a new journal. I was pleasantly greeted by the workers at cash registers which I must add were all completely busy. Yet both of them greeted me promptly. As I am searching through the many isles of art supplies browsing endlessly, I am helped by a young woman by the name of Rebecca. You can very quickly assume she is an artist herself. Due to the vast amounts of knowledge and passion she has for any types of art. I proceeded to ask some questions about painting as I have been interested. She went above and beyond with helping me choose everything from brushes to what to brush on. She also showed me a small piece of her outstanding art. Over all the store was a lovely experience for just getting supplies. I actually enjoyed my time in the store for a change. If the other employees are anything like Rebecca then they have an all-star team at this Michaels! 3 thumbs up from me I will gladly be retuning. This particular location is something of an incongruity: the store is clean and well stocked, so much so that it feels like they have an army of staff members to make it pretty overnight, but during the day...the makeup is off. long lines, minimal effort at customer service, staff members are difficult to locate, etc. perhaps this one store is the anomaly, as the one in San leandro is just the opposite: people are happy to assist amidst the clutter. dont come here after ten a.m. expecting to get anything done in a hurry

They’ve got what I like to call an underachieving smorgasbord: they manage to fill their shelves with quite a diverse selection of goods, but too often they don’t stock particular items that I’m looking for. They have just enough to start to overwhelm the casual browser and they miss out on enough to disappoint those who are seriously in the market for specific tools or type of supply. It’s the practice aspect of Lydgate’s quip that “you can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you cant please all of the people all of the time.”Therefore, it’s a place I like to go to browse but usually avoid if I need something in particular unless I’ve seen it on their shelves when I was browsing.

Arts and crafts is my life. Michaels is the best - next to Hobby Lobby. I just wish this location had more staff to shorten their line... and have people on the floor to help when customers have questions. I am always searching for help on the floor...

I like this location, they are always fully stocked and they have a very helpful, friendly staff. This location is always clean and the items are easy to find. For the Holidays, I have noticed that this location always has a lot of wonderful ideas and several fun things to browse for in case you are in need of inspiration. The parking lot is usually very busy due to the location and neighboring shops but I highly recommend shopping here if you have been bit by the crafting bug.
