I have been seeing commercials for Stater Bros. Markets for many years, but I never got a chance to go to a location, plus there are no stores in my local LA area. I was in the Downey area last weekend, so I was happy to finally visit this location. This store is very clean and I found all of the items that I had on my list to buy. I was even happy that they had French bread that I needed to buy, which was hot and fresh. They even sell a few items that I wanted that other stores do not sell. The employees were also very nice and helpful. I had an overall great experience at this store and I plan to return again soon.

Theyre a little more expensive than say a walmart, but at least I can get what I want. Most of the time walmart is hit or miss on a lot of their products. The employees are better, more helpful. They dont try to force you into the self-surface check out they have none. Its worth a little bit of extra money you have to pay to shop there.

Theyve really outdone themselves with the recent remodel. Theres a fresh Sushi station, a fresh fruit station with freshly cut fruits and salsa. The butcher block has an extensive variety of meat and fish. Totally outstanding!

Last min shopping for Thanksgiving. When I walked in I realized I forgot my mask. I was going to rush back to my car, but the employee in the front said they could supply me with one, so that was nice. Just came in for cheesecake and Truly. They had both. The checkout was fast and easy. Ill definitely come back.

The remodel looks great! I take my mom often, but the staff isnt that friendly to us but to others, yes? Thats life!

My sister in law got a chocolate cake from there and it was so good! I’m very picky with chocolate cakes but this one was so moist, flavorful, and the texture was just perfect! I wouldn’t mind driving over there.

Stater Bros is currently upgrading the whole store it looks awesome always best steaks and produce. The whole staff nice and friendly since the store is big you get alot of variety in the grocery department and their cold beer case are big way more types of beer. Way to go Stater Bros Market. 👍🥳😉

This store has been good to me from the day they moved in until the day I moved out of state. 20 years of quality products and service. The only problem I have is the lines being long but that’s just me nitpicking

This is my go to store every time! It is organized and clean, the staff is kind, helpful, and always pays attention to a customers needs and satisfaction. At checkout they tend to find a way to make me smile or laugh in someway😄 lines are surprisingly quick as well. Thank you very much!

They are the #1 meat market to go to. Very reasonable prices and they will cut meat to your liking. Too thin? Get it thicker. Too thick? get it thinner. Ribs too long? Cut them in half please. Now my small kids can enjoy there spare ribs. Brought to you by Realtor Tomas

Love this place . My main place to shop. Great store, great deals, great customer service.

The store is always clean even right now as theyre remodeling the store looks clean. If the managers see long lines forming they make sure to open more registers. The meat counter always has several people working it and cutting meat. If they see a lot of people waiting in line at the meat counter the people cutting meat go help out. They always have shopping carts available for their customers and you dont have to go look for one in the parking lot like in other stores. The store is further than other stores for me but I am willing to make the drive because of how the store is managed. Great job to everyone there.

Managers are friendly Carla the cashier as well as the guys in the meat section but other than that the younger cashiers and baggers need to learn how to be courteous and respect their elders better. Albertsons is better shopping experience than this Staters right now.

Let me tell you that I love the meat price specials. Today we got some flap meat(for barbecue) at only $3.99 a pound. Thats a great price!Regarding table wines, they have good prices if you buy in a bunch.They also have a good selection of fruits and vegetables.

Store is being remodel looks like rearranging aisles, stripped floor for new installation of flooring, however business as usual, shelves stocked, friendly customer oriented staff!!

Best Bacon In Town, from the friendly, knowledgeable Butchers, who keep their trays clean, neat, and full of lean BACON. I also shop at this particular location for its fresh fruits and vegetables. They never disappoint, with a variety of Tomatoes, and one day, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Jackfruit, which I snapped a photo of, and shared with my Daughter, who is s vegetarian.

Although there remodeling, its still a great neighborhood store.

Love Stater Bros, their meat selection is great, the butchers will get you the cut of beef you want and prices are reasonable. Just get ready to wait in line Friday-Sunday. Mon - Thur are much better days to avoid long lines.

Great meat prices, amazing soda sales and staff is friendly! Cashiers are nice and baggers pay attention to what they do. Lines are short and the store is well maintained, my family definitely prefers shopping here over other chains and we save at least 20% compared to major competition.

The store was great,. But the cashier was unfriendly, handler asked me if I needed a bag. I yes just one. Cashier charged me for two. And said nothing about if I like bag or bags. These two females dont work like a team. Made me fill like why am I in the store.. Wasting there time...what ever! Going to do my shopping elsewhere.

I appreciate the appropriate space in the aisles, especially when I use the riding cart. I would like to see more organic products, canned, and frozen items. My doctor suggests organic after in remission from cancer. Just because of the preservatives and sugars. But I love the store and your wonderful workers, and good $$.

Stater Bros is always reliable with good quality stuff. They have a bakery, but they use too many unpronounceable additives for my liking. They also have a fresh meat and fish counter and their prices are very reasonable.

Store very clean i liked it, only thing AMY the cashier asked for ID for alcohol which Im okay with. But when showing my ID very clear to her, she snatched it out of my hands. She could have asked me she cant see and needs glasses and if she may see it and hand it to her. SO RUDE.
