Brought car in at 8 am, repeat business too, for a simple check engine light. Called at 1 pm and was told they were working on it and itd be a couple hours. Called back and was told...another hour. Still no call back at 5 pm so i walked over and the car hadnt been touched. I was told they didnt have time. Apparently no time to he honest with me on the phone either.

I asked for a wheel alignment they only did the front which didnt need it was the back that was off but when they did the front it stated pulling to the right and the steering wheel was crooked!!!!!! I took it back they charged me an extra 50 bucks to correct the problem and aligne the rear and to check why its pulling to the right.... big guess there!!! George said it was something broke because the machine alignment is so precise so the 50 would cover the diagnostic test...lol get it back big surprises its driving straight but the steering wheel is still way off ..so third times a charm finally got it right and nothing was broke but the person working on my Mercedes.... George did have some great advise for me he said and I quote If you want it done right maybe you should have went to the dealership . After the third time and I was about to pay the 50 George did me a solid a took 10 bucks off seeing as nothing was found to cause my truck to pull to the right other than the machine needing to calibrated or used by someone who is knowledgeable. Long story short the truck is riding great but it took two days, three trips, and two payments for one wheel alignment. Like George said if you want it done right dont bring it to them!!!!

I stopped by Michigan auto today and got brake work done. I’ve brought several cars here in the past and they all ways get my cars right. They are always honest with the work that needs to be done on my car. Mike the mechanic took about an hour to get my car in and out of the shop. The car drove like it was brand new and didn’t have any of the issues I brought it in for. I also got a set of new tires and they hooked it up with a great price. I would definitely come back and tell all my family and friends about their services. The woman at the front desk hadeel was very helpful from the moment I called to the moment I left the shop. I had a great experience at Michigan auto. I went there because my vehicle needed a new transmission and I talked to mike brooks the mechanic there and he was very honest with the diagnosis of the car and told me everything I needed to get. I didn’t have enough to pay for all the work so they allowed me to pay them back monthly. They only had my car for one day and one night, and fixed everything on my 2016 Ford Explorer. I would recommend this shop to my family and friends and i will be back here in the future for all my automotive service needs. The girl at the front desk HADEEL was very sweet and answered all my questions over the phone when I called. The older lady behind the desk offered me snacks while I was there. Super awesome shop and most importantly super honest.

This place has very honest mechanics and they will not waste your time I had a great experience when I brought my car here. My car was making very loud squeaking noises. I assumed it was my brakes and the mechanic told me it was the brake booster. The price on the labor was the cheapest Ive ever seen around. they got my car fixed and I was back on the road within a couple hours. I would definitely return here for all my auto service needs. They even gave me a ride home while they worked on my car!

I have becoming here for years and the employees are friendly the prices are reasonable and most of the time you can get your vehicle repaired on the same day. They also have a finance plan that you can apply for if you don’t have the money the day you need the repair. My repairs last for a while and they do a quality job, and if they don’t do your repair right you can bring it back and they will make sure the repair is right.

Terrible service - Terrible ExperienceI had my car at this particular shop multiple time within a few months. Soon as I drove off the lot I would experience the same issues. I turn around and come back they say leave it with us and will fix it. Come back same EXACT issues they say they fixed. I drove off the lot and hear the same noise and same problems with my car. Did this 3 times in a row!! Problem still not fixed. Charged my warranty company money for a problem that still isn’t fixed.

Paid 250 for a major tune up they did absolutely nothing basically gave them free money for nothing I hope this place burn to the ground

Located in a pretty rough neighborhood, but welcome to Detroit, ha. In and out in about 90 minutes. Got exactly what was promised. Hard to complain about that. Bathroom was out of order when I was there though.

DO NOT BRING YOU CAR HERE!!!!!!. Please I brought my car in because it was shaking that was fixed but as soon as I pulled out there was a weird noise when I braked like the anti locks were coming on. I circled right back and the manager named George told me that it was a piece missing to hold my driving shaft in place. Im not a mechanic so I went with what he said. He told me he was going to put the part on no charge he had to order it he would call me. He did not call me, I called and left about 3 messages and my number no call back. I finally just went up there dropped it off about 8 am today and left my number, no one called it was close to 4 pm so I called and they said pick it up. I drive off and the same noise is happening. I drove right back he finally puts a mechanic in the car to hear in and he says its something with the ABS. Me and my boyfriend tell him this noise did not happened until you touched my car it was not there. You did something he says he can give us a quote on it but thats it he wont fix it. If your guys messed up something you need to fix it not push it off on the customer who had already spent over $200 dollars getting one things fixed, you mess up and your trying get me to pay more. Complete scumbag.

Theyre awful and they over charge

So...let me start off by saying BEWARE! My gas guage was not working. I swore that I put gas in it the day before. My car stalled out on the freeway. I had it towed to Goodyear on Wyoming in Detroit. They got my car on Saturday at 1pm and I told them that my gas guage didnt work, they lied and said that the mechanic was looking at it. They told me that they didnt look at my car until Monday a 1pm. By 3pm, they told me that the gas in my car was good and that my car needed a $1200 repair, that is why it wouldnt start. I went out and bought a new car. Meanwhile, I had my car towed home. I put $2.00 worth of gas in my tank and it started right up. I drove it to the gas station and filled it up. I wasted money on Lyft. I wasted money on buying another car. I would have wasted money on giving them 1200 bucks for $2.00 gas. I would let Ray Ray fix my car before these people! 😣

I wish I could give a zero. Everytime, I go there I feel slimy when I leave. Asked for an estimate, they offered me a credit application. Antennas up. The clerk added suspension to my brake estimate. The entire estimate was 2250 and 700 for brakes/rotors. 😳 I know Covid 😷 challenged a lot of businesses, but dont try to make up for 2020 with my car. I realized why they want you to leave your car...so you dont witness disgruntled customers. Stay with your car, ladies. #Lostone

Do not deal with these people, they do not know what they are doing. The majority of my issues started after visiting them. Spent over 4k in the last 4 months and my car has only gotten worse. Everybody is very unhelpful and unintelligent.

George the front desk guy is a liar and always trying to get you to go into debt to fix your car. Not very efficient. Not very communicative as in I waited 3 hours while my car sat on the bay with no work on my brake pads and rotors being done until I finally asked and was told they were waiting on a tool! Couldve let me know. Next time I went they ordered the wrong part and had to keep my car overnight. And lastly they caused my fuse to blow when fixing my brake booster and wouldnt even tell me the codes as to why my engine and traction control gauge lights were on after they worked on it. George said oh those codes have been there for a while but my lights never came on. Amd he never said what the codes were or meant and sent me on my way. Also its NOT AN OFFICIAL GOODYEAR SERVICE FACILITY PER GOODYEAR!

(Do not let the prior 5stars fool you) I went to get a dianostic because my car was overheating, earlier I was putting fluid in it wasnt leaking but it still was overheating. So they cameback telling that they would have to take the engine apart to find out what was wrong($400) then 750 if it was a head gasket. Now the point of a diagnostic is to tell me what is wrong. THEN THEY CHANGED THEIR STORY SAYING IT WAS A HEAD GASKET AND THERE WAS WHITE SMOKE!! When I went to see theirdemostration Their no white smoke and the only thing coming out the exhaust was the condensation. Cause I touched and sniffed. Found out later that new coolent I put in didnt have it chance to run all the way through so my car is fine. But I paid 50 bucks on them to tell me nothing I advise please go in with some knowledge of cars or they will take every last dime.

Certainly not the best circumstances to bring in my car because I had to get some bearing work done.However like typical auto repair stores they drag you in the back and try to tell you everything wrong with your vehicle.If you can afford the 1k+ repair cost theyll probably have to keep it over night. If you threaten to leave then theyll hustle around and try to get some of your money at least before you go.They even dragged a 70+ year old woman with a cane back into the shop. To show her something I have no doubt she knew nothing about.They have the station off of a major freeway to get traffic breakdowns, thats how they got me.Chances are I wouldnt recommend or ever return unless the warranty for the work done required me to.

This place is terrible for getting a transmission, a year ago i had replaced my transmission and 6 months in, right when the warranty ended the transmission started to have problems, i dont know how they did it but after 6 months the transmission, i started noticing acceleration problems and when i got it checked with another mechanic he said that the transmission that was installed is a used and nearly at bad condition and i paid $1800 for replacing the transmission and my catalyic converter. they do lie to your face like someone in the other comment said, he told me that he would be installing the 100,000 mile transmission and you wont be having problems with the transmission like another 3 yrs and guess what 6 months in and i started having problems. This is Detroit i had to have thought of it before i replaced my transmission here but i was helpless, i was visiting a friend in UDM college and my transmission had failed me. learned a valuable lesson NEVER REPLACE YOUR TRANSMISSION IN DETROIT OR THIS PLACE PLEASE!!!!!! I am writing this comment because $1800 is a lot of money for someone out there and i dont think you guys want to spend $1000 more after 6 months when your warranty and transmission fails you.
