Tried multiple times to set up an appointment online for some basic tire service. Every time I got an email that said my appointment was cancelled and no phone call from the location. Got an appointment online with discount tire with ease and went there instead.Update : Tried again to schedule an appointment to get tires and an alignment through the website. No luck. No call from the location. Just cancelled my requested appointment.

This was the 3rd time going here.Each and every time people are very friendly and helpful from counter staff to techs.The man behind the counter today, 4-25-21was very helpful and went out of his way to help me.I dont live here but travel here frequently.Ill keep coming to this particular store whenever I need assistance.

I take my vehicle to this location for all my maintenance needs. The staff members are very well educated, and explains everything for you to understand. I know my vehicle is in good hand when I drop it off for maintenance.

Took two wheels in to get repaired and get alignment...but wheels were to far gone. Took a little longer than expected so Michael took care of me free of charge even though they couldnt get the rims fixed. Great service. Ill be back.

Why bother making appointments if your not even going look at the car for two hours while I am Waiting? I asked several times about when you will address the car and each time the technician would just walk away? My appointment was at 2pm. Its now 4 pm and my truck has yet been moved? Finally someone says mine will be next. What does that mean? Another two hour wait? This is ridiculous!

Had my car put me down off the side of the freeway so I had it towed to firestone. They had it for 4 days and ran two different diagnostic test and found that a wire was the problem to the car starting. So I leave and find that my amplifier isnt on nor is my bass booster and on top of that my cooling fan is coming on as I start my car. So I go and get my stereo system checked and they tell me someone had my stuff wired wrong. So I brought the situation to the worker attention and he says his guys wouldnt bother the stereo wiring. I say ok what about my cooling fan runningThey claim they cant figure it out and that they cant prove if the problem existed or came from there work...Im like wow! Wouldnt recommend anyone get any serious engine work done here they recommended I go to a certified mechanic

Nice place, the only issue here is the wait time, always expect to wait here for at least 2 hours before they get your car fixed, but overall a great quality service and ok prices compared to the quality.

I use to like coming here but the service is declining at this location. I had an appointment for 10:30 I advised prior to making it that I didn’t want to wait or have the time because I was going out of town. I’m leaving at 11:30 with no tires or an eta on when I would be serviced. Everyone is on the phone around there but nobody doing any work. When asked for another eta he said he didn’t know he’ll get to it next. A truck was blocking bay that came well after I was there. So you let them block the bay knowing you had an appointment waiting..... Senseless.... When I’m like what does that mean you’re not telling me a time he said 10-15 minutes maybe but of course that wasn’t the case. They didn’t even care about the fact that they were losing a customer. He handed my keys didn’t apologize or anything. I don’t appreciate my time being wasted and now I have to find tires last minute so I can travel out of state to bury a loved one. Way to increase my anxiety Firestone. I WILL NEVER BE BACK

I’ve been a customer of Desoto Firestone since 2012. This location goes far and beyond not only to get the job done but to do it right. They make sure I receive quality service. Mike and his staff are amazing and provide the absolute best customer service anyone could ask for! They won my business 8 years ago and have continued to provide award winning service to keep it! Kudos to this store. Trust me not all Firestone Completes are the same.

Its okay just seems like a long wait with an appt. 2 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation.

So I go to the Firestone. By the house my wheel alignment appointment was for 12:00 noon. While I am waiting bthe counter rep gets a call and I guess the caller was looking for tires. Because she said. They have all. 4 of them.. then another caller callas in then she tries to get this person to buy new tires because they said they can not find the pin hole leak.. so as I am just sitting here listening to all this game... then the guy that called about the tires came in looking for the tires. She said she does not have them here she now has to order them....she said she was not expecting him to come. So soon.... ( I mean you just told the man you had 4 tires you was looking at. And now you dont ..) so I ask the lady when is my car going to move. Because know its. 12:58 and my car is still in the same place i parked it......She tells me. That well there is another car on the rack. And this is the only alignment rack we got . So then I a say. So what ever time you guys finish then my two hours start.. she. Humbly say. Yes . I humbly say. Go GET My. KEYS ill go somewhere else. I dont have time for that.. as I am walking towards the door she say oh he done now. And. He. Can pull yoir car in.. NO. THANK. YOU. I keep walking ...( I heard. The game. And. Weather or not the techs are good or not. They. Got too many red. Flags )

Brought my car in for a window that rolled down by itself 6 hrs later left with alarm heater signal lights speedometer guage rpm gauge fuel mileage dash not functioning and another window rolled down half way. I got told I was getting charged for a 130 diagnostic and I happily agreed. They changed the diagnostic to a 29 dollar battery check and no charged the invoice . I KNOW I HAD 1/2 TANK and they had the AUDACITY to fill my tank up bc the fuel gauge wasnt working. No integrity at this place. They said have a goodnight and expected me to give a handshake on that. Very disappointed

Manager Michael always makes sure you know what theyre doing to your car. Jenna is always courteous & friendly. Everyone on staff is personable, and I drive out of my way to this location because they have just the best customer service.

Dropped car off on Thursday to get a tune up and check the driver side window. Picked the car up Saturday morning only to find out that a tune up on a 2003 ford explorer with over 200,000 miles on it only consists of changing out 6 plugs, no wires or anything else for over 300 bucks. Had car for for over 48 hrs only to change out 6 plugs, window didnt even get checked. Belt had so many cracks in it that it was clear just looking at it. Oh well now Im spending my Saturday changing all fluids, belts and wires. Was a long time customer but never again.

One thing I can say about firestone they are good about fixing your car and doing a thorough diagnostic but one thing I do not appreciate with them is using my car as their personal entertainment meaning using my radio, I know they did it is because they left evidence of a stains, silver stains at that on my tune knob and radio info button. Now I have to get that fixed or replaced and I really don’t appreciate that so I probably will not be going back there anymore. I take my car up there to get it fixed not for you to mess up or damaging anything else.

I have been visiting this Firestone for quite some time. The service I received is second to none. I always call ahead and some times they can get me in but there have been times I had to either leave it or reschedule. I accept that to be apart of a good business. If I go to a repair shop who don’t have any wait, I would have to consider their reputation. I went to this location to buy a set of tires and they didn’t have what I wanted in stock but the salesman recommended a better set. Ive been having issues with my headlights from the moment I allowed them to replace a $13 bulb last year. I have given them several opportunities to make it right, but it has failed each time. Todays incident was it for me. I went in for a simple oil change, got charged for a high mileage oil change, which I didnt request. Light bulb out again, after being replace earlier this year. Charged me $51 to change a bulb they recently replaced. I have repairs that need to get done, but they will never be allowed to touch my car again. I AM DONE!!!

The staff at this location goes far and beyond professional service. They are very helpful and courteous. They look for the best resolution for your problems. They work with you on labor costs. I couldnt ask for better service!n Kudos to the staff!

I needed two rear tires replaced today. Had the best customer service experience I have ever had anywhere especially at an auto repair shop at Firestone in Desoto. It was mainly due to their employee Jenna F. She is friendly, hard working, and extremely competent.

Every time I have been at this location for service they are always busy but treat everyone with courtesy and updated on car maintenance and repairs. Usually expect a couple of hours wait from the time you drop your car off as they are busy. Best to make an appointment beforehand. Walk-in can expect a long wait unlyyou arrive early in the day.

Not the best shop. I was missing a lower control arm bolt but still charged $35 for a alignment check. I’ve been to plenty of shops that would just tell you, you have a bolt missing and send you on you way but not this shop. Didn’t receive a report on my alignment as is or nothing just wrote missing bolt and charge me for it. Never going back here.

The service is slow each time I visit, their prices are to high for an oil change. Also, for the same price I can get my fluids filled, and my car vacuumed where I normally go. I thought that firestone would be good since they are closer to my house.

I’m a mechanic and put new tie rods in my mustang I sent my daughter to drop off the car because I was too busy to do myself I guess workers there seen an opening to try to charge my daughter $1500 for sway bar links and lower control arms Which they were in great condition...Please be careful all who reads this with these kind of people do ur homework 1st look for small shops give them a chance they will work harder for u these big companies there just workers trying to sell. This is the world we live in BE careful..anyways Took my car to Oakcliff in Illinois st. was in and out for an alignment for $60 and well done.. with a 30 day Warrenty...

Even with an appointment they took over an hour and a half to change the tire on my car.

OUTSTANDING Customer Service .. I will recommend a customer to this Firestone. Joe is an Outstanding mechanic and has more than 10 years of experience.. Micheal, Cody,and Ashton has outstanding customer service . I walked in and they greeted me at the door and took care of me like i was family. The only thing i dont recommend is expecting a vehicle to be done in the estimated time. They take the time out to make sure everything on a car is checked out and done the correct way before sending it off. I would highly recommend that you drop it off.

Michael and his whole staff/team were so courteous and nice towards us and fixed our chevy malibu 2013! They work hard and consistently to insure that each customer gets the best possible deal and to where your car will work for a longer period of time! The mechanics were constantly working and on top of everything when I was there for 2 days to get my car repaired! This whole staff/team deserves a significant raise for the quality and great customer service skills they have!!!

My previous visit to this Firestone location left me very unhappy and unwilling to visit this location. I revisited on Friday, April 5th because I had a nail in my tire. Cody greeted me and explained that the techs were booked but stated that he would stay a little longer to take care of me to ensure that I did not continue to ride on that tire. Not only did he swap out my tire but he did so extremely quick and efficient. I was checked out by Michael Walton, the GM of that location. I notified him that I had spoken to him 6 months ago regarding a past unpleasant experience at this location. During this conversation, I notified him that I was extremely pleased and happy with the customer service. I will return to this location for service.

I was told 3 days in a row my tires would be ordered and installed. Every day I went there and they werent ordered but promised they would absolutely be ordered now. The next day, it would be the same story. Worse of all, I was never offered any type of explanation or apology. Im done. Goodyear for me from now on.

They know me by name they get you in they get you out I love it and if you dont have your credit card they have it on file so you never have to pull it out they do need to put TV on the wall instead of on a stand and they may need to expand the seating area it is a little small but other than that great experience there shops there stores around the area you can either go eat or shop nail places over there go get a nail manicure pedicure while you wait I love Firestone

The Firestone in DeSoto Texas really helped us out and fixed our car correctly. We were 200 miles from home. They were very friendly and really knew what they were doing!

Brought my Jeep in at 10AM after speaking with employee on phone and was told that they could do a alignment on it. It was not a return for a free alignment but a new job for them.Was informed that it would be done in the afternoon and did not receive a call from them.I called at 6PM and was told that in was next in line and to come at near closing to pick it up.Got there 15 minutes till closing and my Jeep was still sitting in the same parking spot as I left it that morning and asked why nothing was done to it and only got a answer that they had problems with their schedules.I had to make special arrangements to drop this car off and could have went elsewhere and got the work done that day.I have used this shop for several vehicles in the past but dont think I will be back for any new or return services.

I got a nail in my sidewall while working in the area and they were able to get a new tire on in under 2 hours so I could get home on time. I was expecting to wait at least twice as long. Thanks!

5 HOURS FOR JUST A STANDARD OIL CHANGE. Been a loyal customer of this location for years but nowadays they just dont have their act together. Sad. Shouldnt have to take an entire day off from work just to get an oil change.

We took our van in and in addition to what was really wrong with our van they added about 1000.00 worth of unnecessary and obvious unneeded repairs in the estimate for our vehicle. Having a mechanic in the family who already told us what was wrong with van and just didnt have time to repair it saved us from spending 1000.00 for work our vehicle didnt need AT ALL! BEWARE: get other estimates elsewhere before using this shop...

They do not want to honor there warranties if your not spend anymore money. They will push you too the back of the line until they have no more work to do. Dnt buy any of there lifetime warranties, they dnt honor them...

This location is so unprofessional. I called to see if they could plug my tire, and they said to come over they could take care of me. It took me 20 minutes to get there and when I arrived they told me I took too long and they sent the extra worker home and there was only one mechanic left that night. So I was stuck with a tire that was going flat instead of them taking 15 minutes to throw a plug in it. Today I tried to give them another chance. I scheduled an inspection. When I arrived at my scheduled time I was told the inspector was doing something else and I would have to wait an hour before I could be seen. So I wasted taking time off work for nothing, what was the point of making an appointment if they werent going to keep it? The people who work there lack any concept of customer service or even common sense. They just stare at you blankly when you ask them what they plan to do to solve the problem.

You could just walk in and get serviced within a hour or so, but for the last 2-3 years you hardly ever get your serviced the same day you come in.Theyre are always booked up, or over booked. They insist you to make an appoint for another day, or go to another Firestone store.The only thing they will do for you is call another store to see if they can work you in...
