Thanks for assisting my husband in purchasing my new 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer.It was very speedy. My husband took my 2017 Chevrolet Malibu (yes we ARE CHEVY) he has a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe) in for a oil change and tire rotation and I guess figured he heard my mouth too much about the Trailblazer and walked away with it. Jeff is a very good salesman,he was working with another customer and still took the time to show me the vehicle i been looking for about four years.the sales manager greeted me when I pulled up, we took the car for a test drive, not much was said went to finance adviser, which she was very nice, did not give me a hard time, she got me approved and my vehicle was delivered to my house next morning.very pleased with how fast I got my vehicle.i been to it least 5 dealerships and could not find the answers I been looking for.fairbanks offers a great shopping experience .thanks to everyone who made this happen for me.

I was not happy to pay almost $200 for the replacement of one headlamp or headlight. My goal was to keep purchasing GMC vehicles, but the cost for minor repairs is too much. It took 15 minutes to do the replacement and the bulb cost less than $30. Just too much. I am starting to investigate different vehicles when I was going to purchase a new Chevrolet.

The Collision Center at Chuck Fairbanks Chevrolet is amazing and fully honors their lifetime warranty! In August of 2009 my truck bed was damaged in an accident and repaired at Chuck Fairbanks. In 2021 the clear coat began to peel off in the repaired area. I took the truck and my receipt to the Collision Center Manager, Casey Moreland, and he pinpointed the problem immediately. The team repaired my truck in a timely manner and free of charge.Casey Moreland always greeted me with a smile and a handshake. The front administrative staff, Tiffany Webb and Lindsey Velasquez, were friendly, smiled, and treated me kindly each time I walked through the door. I am grateful for the staff and service of the Chuck Fairbanks Collision team! I could not be happier!

The service was great. Blake took good care of me. He updated me daily on the status of the repair. The lower rating is because I was not able to get a loaner vehicle nor was my repair covered under my warranty. I purchased this car from this dealership a year ago CPO. I paid extra for Certified because of the benefits I thought Id receive. I was very disappointed to receive none.

I’m going to write what started as a bad review but has ended in a very review. I had a car in the body shop after I had an accident nearby. I happen to live out of town. I was called that my car was ready, and I flew in from Austin to pick it up. It turns out that an additional problem had shown up, and the car actually wasn’t ready and needed a part that would take days to arrive. I was frustrated and put out that there was a delay, but we all know stuff can happen. Casey Moreland finally got involved. He quickly got me a loaner car to drive back to Austin. Finally, he surprised my by actually bringing my car to my house when it was ready. All up, he truly went the extra mile and made my inconveniences inconsequential. His great service is much appreciated.

Brought my SUV in for a noise it was making, steering issues, and 2 message codes. For bringing it in I was not aware that I had to pay 4 different diagnosis fee of $150 if I did not get the work done. That is ridiculous that the customer would have to pay that because techies are only experts in certain areas of the car. How is the customer to know that and how is that even fair. We I think of a diagnostic that is getting the car hooked up to a machine and it will tell me everything that is wrong with the vehicle. But that is not the issue at Chuck Fairbanks. I got 3 of the 4 things fixed and that was a stretch so because a different technician looked at the shift to park I was charged an additional $150. I will be taking my car to other places for service. I will be calling to speak with a manager in regards to that because I feel I shouldnt have had to pay an additional $150.

Let me start by saying my service agent Blake is always courteous and a great agent. My experience with the check out agent,great. However who ever the office Mgr (female)was that called myself and my husband on 8/17 was out of order!!! The check out agent (per the Off. Mgr) under charged me for my service a 100.00. I the customer was not aware of it. So I graciously paid what was expected of me and left. So the next day I get a call from the Off. Mgr saying the agent made a mistake so I corrected it by debiting your account the extra 100.00. And my response was you debited my account this morning (per her words)and you’re calling in the evening at 5:00 pm and you did it without my consent. First of all that is unlawful and fraud. You never go into someone’s account without consent to do so. And her response was “we are a replicable company.and we can do that”.Well that demeaned me as if I didn’t know that. And even though you have my info it is unlawful to use it without my consent!!!!My family alone has purchased over 7+ cars from Chevrolet and spent 200,00+ on cars as well as serving with Chevrolet. And half of those purchases were through Chuck Fairbanks Chevrolet,Desoto that is why I would not of expected a worker to act in such way. And even after what I experienced I still graciously split the cost on a mistake your agent made. I didn’t have to that. And instead of getting an apology, or a thanks for helping me to correct our mistake she says after I agree to pay half, “I can do that” as if she did me a favor. Now I will forever be second guessing how my information is being used when I leave. I expected better!! Never get so comfortable that you lose your vision of your customer even if a mistake is made. We did not purchase our vehicle here, but we did have our sons 2013 Chevy Camaro SS convertible serviced here. Our car had some issues with the convertible top and the AC. There were several cars ahead of ours so it had to sit for sometime before they got to look at it. But once they looked at it, they diagnosed it quickly and then it was just a waiting game for the parts. It was very frustrating for us to be without the car for so long. However, our service person Blake, did an outstanding job updating us daily on exactly what was going on. If he said he was going to call, he called. If we called him, he answered. This is what TRUE service is about and you dont see it very often anymore. I have had my car serviced several times since I purchased my car from Chuck Fairbanks and each time the customer service was friendly and professional. Blake and Ryan are very informative and seems to know a lot about cars/trucks. Obtaining a rental while your car is being repaired was easy and fast. I do think more seating in needed in the waiting area and there should be an easier way to apply your Chevrolet points.

Brought my car in for oil change, tire rotation and brake inspection. Im new to area and thought I couldnt go wrong with using Chevy dealership. Thats what I get for thinking. They open at 8am. Made appoint at 8:30am. Checked in by 8:20am. Didnt leave until 11. I dont know in what universe that almost 3 hrs is acceptable for an oil change but this isnt it. should you ever feel like wasting a half a day in a waiting room and being late for work then this is place for you. FYI my previous dealership was 45min for same work. I wasnt the only person stuck there for hours either. Listened to guys before me complaining about how they had him there as well.

The ratings on the previous two questions has nothing to do with the sales person. However, I had a problem with the tires on day one and had to bring the car back to have it serviced. They said it was fine after checking the air pressure. I later found out that was not the case. I had to put air in the tires SEVERAL times after that. I drove my car to another Cheverolet Dealership and they checked it out and discovered the reason for the tire pressure issue was because there was a nail stuck in the tire. I ended up having to pay to have the tire repaired. I told this information to Chuck Fairbanks Dealership in Desoto, Texas and after pressing my concerns they reluctantly reimbursed me the money I paid to have the tire repaired. A few days later, the air pressure was an issue in several other tires. The management quickly HANDED me off to the service department, back to where the original issue wasnt caught in the first place. Management was so hands off unlike when they were pushing for the sale of the car. They pretty much made me feel like it wasnt their problem, they didnt care, and it was on to the next customer who was interested in purchasing a vehicle. This in my opinion is very poor customer service. I was wooed in as long as I was purchasing but now that Ive purchased, they dont care what happens. If anyone asked me about a place to purchase a car, it would NOT be from this specific dealership. As far as Im concerned Ive seen their true colors unfortunately.

This review is for the service department- I took my 2020 2500 high country for brakes replacement about a month and a half ago and even bought the parts with them. After they serviced it I notice some shaking on my truck I didint think much of it until it got worse. I called and explained what was happening and they said they will look it but I would have to leave the truck there for 2 days! So I left it,after 2.5 days they called me back only to say that nothing was wrong with my truck!! Seriously!? I took it to the dealer so something specifically like this does not happen and to have some sort of warranty for their services but it turns out it was worse! I was car less for almost 3 days for nothing, now i have to spend more money to check it somewhere else.

I am giving this place 3 stars for now. Just purchased a used car a Chevy. Engine light coming on after I have done all this work to it. So took it to Chevy Jeff and Blake super helpful. I took it in Thursday morning. Its Saturday and still have my car. I have called several times and they still havent ran diagnostic. So this is not the place for a quick turn around for repairs. Unless you are able to get a rental.

I brought my vehicle in for repair. The next week Blake in the service department said that it was ready for pickup and my part which they supposedly replaced would returned to me also. During the drive I noticed that the air conditioning was not working properly as it was before bringing it to the service department and my part was not in the vehicle. My vehicle stopped less than 2 hours after picking it up. It had to be towed back to Chuck Fairbanks dealership. This time after approximately 2 weeks of servicing my vehicle, Blake said that it was ready for pickup and passed state inspection also. When I arrived to pickup my vehicle, Blake and the service manager had no idea where my missing part was and said that it would be additional charges to fix my air conditioning which wasnt broken prior to going to Chuck Fairbanks service department. Then I reviewed the inspection report and it showed FAILED. Blake said he misread the report and thought that it said PASSED. That same day my vehicle stopped again which means it was obviously never repaired. So after approximately 1 month of servicing my vehicle and paying over $860, I was left with an unrepaired vehicle, broken a.c. and a failed state inspection. I have never received terrible service like I did at Chuck Fairbanks service department and I will never recommend them to anyone. It was a complete waste of money and time.

I went to look at a few options at this dealership and the sales agent Marvin was very rude and peer pressuring he didn’t take into account everything I told him was important in a car for me he chose what options he felt best and I no longer was interested he talks so fast so that I wouldn’t understand what he was trying to be slick about.
