New staff is great since I was there last. Easy shopping experience

I love GameStop, but sadly not this store. 2 people here that know their stuff, and they are awesome! The rest are there just for a job.Wouldnt honor game stop online pricing for used content, and didnt to even have a key to open a drawer for switch memory cards.Love the brand, but hard when you hire staff that are not as interested I n the product as the consumer.Even though this location is drastically closer, I still tend to do Ive to the Plaistow location strictly due to the staff!

BUYER BEWARE*Unfortunately this GameStop is what everyone warns you about shopping there... They have several games that are new but opened and are clearly used but the employee will lie to you saying its a floor copy and is new. Sorry if you open anything from its original packaging its no longer new and we all know they dont just open it, its played and or relabeled as new so they get more profit. Dont believe me? Look at there ps5 section not one game is pre-owned there all labeled as new but none are sealed. Hmm your telling me not one of those came from a trade in? Yeah ok Ill pass. Truly feel bad for the employees who work there as you can tell theyve been trained to force preorders and warranties even when you politely decline they ask another 3 times with are you sure? Your not spending alot or its only $3.....Ive had enough with this place after several attempts hoping they would changed but cant deal with the awkwardness when purchasing games or shopping around.

Always got people who are down to earth and wise in the video-game scene, all needs will be met

We let the person closing the store know we were about 30 minutes from the store and already on our way. We got there 5 minutes before close and knew exactly what we wanted (since we called and checked availability). The store owner knew we were coming and decided to close the store 5 minutes early (there was a sign that said be back in 5 minutes). They then must have hid in the back of the store until they closed, which is when they came out and turned out all the lights and took the sign down. Thank you whoever you were for wasting our time knowing we were on our way. Missed on a $300 sale.

The store is very clean and organized very well. They had a good selection even for the old format I was looking for. The associate at the store was also very friendly and personable. He was also very helpful and tried to help me find other games and accessories I was looking for both in his store and at other GameStop locations in the area!

I placed an order for a product that was in stock in this store online. My money was taken out and I received a confirmation for my order, saying that it will be ready for pickup soon. I waited several hours for an update and received nothing, then the next day I was notified that my order was canceled for no reason. After reaching out by email, I heard zero response. I finally called customer service and the line said I would have to wait up to 120 minutes to connect me to someone to help. I finally ended up calling the store directly and was told that my order was cancelled because they couldn’t find my item in their store. I won’t have my money back for at least 3 days. I am very confident that if I never called the store, no one would have notified me about this issue and my money would be in limbo. I am never going to trust the products that say “pick up in store” again. Sincerely disappointed and frustrated.

I personally loved it here, the workers were really nice and helped me find the game I was looking for.

Cashier (ONLY worker on shift mind you) was very helpful and dedicated. Despite needing to do multiple jobs at once, never compromised for quality OR speed.

Red dead redemption 2 came out the wait line for preorder was out the door. 9 oclock the line started moving, it was gone in 15 minutes, I was super impressed. Great team.

Its GameStop. No one actually wants to go there. Only went because I had a gift certificate from when they shut ThinkGeek down, and their shipping costs through the website are ridiculous. As usual, long line of people, one employee who obviously didnt care about helping people.Do yourself a favor and avoid GameStop (any of them) and just go to another retailer (that probably has lower prices anyway).

How can it be less than 5 stars. I went there for a game and left with a game. Staff was friendly and actually explained the difference between regular disc and blu ray. Way to go.

We bought a used controller for our son for $30 and the warranty. The employee told us to keep the bag the controller came in if anything is wrong with it. After one use the controller broke. We went to go exchange it for another one with the warranty we bought with the controller. The assistant manager told us we needed the receipt. We told him that his employee told us all we needed was the bag it came in. His excuse was that they hire a lot of seasonal help during the holiday season and the person we originally bought the controller from didnt know what he was talking about. The assistant manager then proceeded to tell us we could trade in the $30 controller we bought for $8 dollars. We ended up spending another $34 for another controller after the trade in. All in all we spent $65 dollars on a used controller because they dont know how to train their staff. I called the 1-800 customer service for Gamestop and they said there is nothing they can do. Worst customer service. Ill stick to Walmart and Amazon for now on.

I recently pre-ordered a game from this GameStop and was told I would receive a phone call when said game arrived. Knowing the release date I spent the entire day waiting for the phone call that never came and because of this I had to wait an extra day and a half to play the game I had already spent my money on.

I was shopping for my sons birthday gifts and I am totally clueless about video games. The associates in this store were the most helpful, kindest, most respectful people I have ever encountered in any store.

I use to be acknowledged here, but now we are not, I have been going here for a long time really hate to go elsewhere, but if I keep getting treated like Im not welcome, then I will go elsewhere, Manager Brian is really not friendly to us, but my experience today was awful, get your customer service better or I will not come back ever again unless under better management.

Never answer the phone, and little video game knowledge exists with the current staff.

I just got hired here and my first day was yesterday and they are fantastic! The environment is so fun and Im what they call a cool nerd haha please stop is and see all of our awesome stuff and meet our awesome staff
