Today I experienced the professionalism and kindness of Shelton Automotive. My daughters car was making a noise when you turned on the blower and making the car shake. We took the car to another place in Derby and received a quote of $525 being skeptical I called Shelton and made an apt. Shortly after I dropped the Juke off they called and explained we just needed a new Cabin Air Filter and to clean out the Blower motor. They even found a coupon they had in the Best of Kansas and applied it to my total, saving me $400. To top it off, if I had gone to the other place they wouldnt have even fixed the problem. It is so nice to find a trust worthy auto repair shop. I am now taking all my vehicles here for oil changes and anything else. I am so grateful to the staff at Shelton!

I am a fairly new customer and I was in serch of a new mechanic. Family members raved about them and suggested I give them them a try. They said they will not take their cars anywhere else. And I can see why. I have had to take 2 different cars there. They do excellent quality work in a timely matter and have great customer service. I will take my car there from now on.

Referred by my mom. Great price on 4 wheel alignment! Good for awd cars with steering wheel vibrations. Under $60 after tax. Not sure what shop supplies were used for $3. Some places in Wichita charge $75-100 for same service. Wish there was a print out of alignment before and after. Nice man at front desk. With appointment it took hour and a half total.

We scheduled an alignment for 10 am and were late by almost an hour and a half. John still took our car in and had it done in a couple hours, even though he was backed up and had a bunch of other cars ahead of us. A+ Service, an extremely friendly man, and he did it 50 bucks cheaper than anyone else. Thanks for helping us out

I would recommend Shelton to everyone who needs work done on their car. I live in Wichita but always make the drive to Derby because they are so good at what they do. When you go in, ask for John. He is so knowledgeable and will get your problem fixed ASAP!! Their prices are also very fair and do not try to upsell you! It is so refreshing!

Shelton Automotive is the only place I will go to for car repairs. Honest, explains everything,and answers any questions I have. As a female this is extremely important. It also helps that he knows his clients by name. I can take my car in and its looked at same day and repaired same day.

This time was only diagnostic. (The repair (blown gasket) is not worth fixing on this vehicle.) They were able to identify the problem scientifically (with appropriate diagnostic tests) so I can have confidence in it.I have had other work in the past and never disappointed. Im bringing in my Jeep on Monday.

I really liked this shop. Its close to my house and they took care of my car quick and simple without charging an arm and a leg. Would definitely go back and/or recommend them to others.

This is the best place ive ever taken my vehicles too. They always get the job done fast and correct. I never have to second guess their work because they run you through exactly what they did and how they fixed it.

Great service! Didnt over charge or try to up sell me on more services than needed. Had brake pads and rotors changed and it took just right at an hour from walking in the door to walking out. Would highly recommend this place.

I always feel welcome at Shelton! John is very friendly and never pushy when offering suggestions. I never feel pressured. Also I had a terrible leak in a tire that two previous shops swore wasn’t there or they couldn’t find. I was losing 10 lbs of pressure every week ... I was so upset ( the mechanics treated me like I was making it up or dumb) I took it to Shelton and John had the guts hold my tire under water for atleast an hr!!! Shelton found the leak!!! They also discovered I had a hole in another tire !!! I cannot express how great it feels to be listened to and not doubted! I love Shelton auto and I trust them completely!Laura Bennett

Mr Shelton gave me an estimate over $600 telling me all my rotors and brakes needed replaced. Took it to another mechanic for second opinion. Rotors and brakes fine. Brake pads replaced at a cost of $231. He took advantage of my being a woman with no knowledge of Automotive repairs. No Stars..

I went into Sheltons automotive this morning with a large bolt in my tire. I was hoping that my tire could just be patched but the last couple places I have used to fixed my tires have always gave me some excuse that it couldn’t be patched and you will have to buy a new tire! I am very thankful that sheltons automotive is honest! When I went in to pay for it I had a couple coupons and I wasn’t for sure if either one of them would work for just the tire repair but he looked them over one being 15% off and the other being 33% off and he told me that I want to use the 33% off this time and save the other one if I have a problem come up and need a big repair done on my car! Thanks for working me in today and being so honest I will definitely refer people to your shop and I will come back if I have a car issue!

Great service here! They fixed my 2001 Chevy S10 in a couple days (engine seal was gone, needed to be aligned, issue with the battery cables, and needed to have the power steering pump replaced).Something was slightly faulty after the repair and I brought it back twice to get it looked at (which they did free of charge), and they replaced some of my wiring that was worn out which fixed the issues I had.Another time they helped me fix a fuse when I tried to install a radio and screwed up.5/5 all around!

Although I didn’t get good news, I really feel like they were honest, upfront, friendly and fairly priced. I’m very impressed and will go back to them next time I have car problems.

Horrible customer service. They didnt fix what I needed fixed. I could have been OK with that and let them try again, but the way they treated me was totally unacceptable. My car now sounds worse than it did when I went in.
