A great selection of tabletop and card gaming. They have room inside to even get the games going. They also have a selection of plushies abd some other nick nacks. They did not sell any used video games, however.

This is a great friendly local gaming store with some very cool stuff and if youre a night person (as I often am) its nice that you can often find them open (the sign says closes when were tired). Just be aware that there is one person who works there who prefers gaming to being on the clock; if you can avoid him, youll have a great experience.

I enjoy the stuff in the store but its kinda hard to enjoy it when the store is almost never open. The sign says open at 12:30 which is already late but this store wont open until closer to 6 or later some nights. I attempted to buy my brother a birthday gift with him at 5:45 and was met with locked doors and turned off lights. I would gladly raise the rating if theyd only open like a business.

Huge gaming store, three levels or four if you count the basement which has inventory in it. They have a full compliment of games and accessories. Affinity for Gaming stocks Citadel paint and has a very large (I believe the largest I have ever seen) stock of warhammer, warhammer 40K, and fantasy miniatures. There are two walls of Dungeons and Dragons miniatures. Plenty of old Magic the Gathering cards as well. The NIU gaming club plays here, so there are plenty of tables grouped together in this gigantic store. This also means that the staff and owner are very current on their inventory and well informed about it. The owner, Mike is a great guy. Affinity for Gaming is certainly in my top three favorite gaming stores ever.

My husband and I love this place. Always a great assortment of d&d minis, paints and other games. The owner is really nice and very helpful! My kids even ask to go when were in dekalb!

Phenomenal Space, great for card games, boardgames, and wargames. Aside from the fact that they carry a little of everything, they are very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a community of gamers, look no further.

My favorite card and game store around. Owner is very friendly, and breaks down trade ins so you understans why you are getting this price. And he is flexible, always willing to go up/down a bit to help you out [within reason of course!]

Over priced small selection of trinkets

The owner was incredibly kind, opened late on Christmas Eve to help me grab a last minute gift. That guy and his shop are the best. Also amazingly large collection of miniatures!

Best gaming shop in town. The owner, Michael Purn, is the best. Great customer service, inventory and spot to play any gamers delight. Highly suggest stopping by for the different events they have throughout the week. Magic nights for Modern and Commander, DnD, Tabletop game groups, and lost of demo games as well.

This is a great store. I had not even known it existed until just a few days ago. After making the trip and meeting a lot of great people, I am certain that I will be returning again as soon as possible.

Its pretty neat. Very cool model building downstairs for Warhammer. And gaming tables upstairs. But! 0 selection of any console gaming and a low selection of board games.

Great establishment with everything you need for gaming. Employees here are a rarity for this kind of business, extremely helpful and very friendly. The people here even work off the clock to connect gamers to get groups going. I highly recommend Affinity for Gaming.

The staff is awesome. Very friendly and accommodating. Ive done 4 MTG prerelease events there and have had a blast each time. Will definitely be returning there for future events.

Nice place, good array of products, but their internal organization seems very sloppy. I had ordered a $20 Warhammer set through them as a gift (because I want to support local shops like this), but it took over a month to arrive at the DeKalb store because it had been shipped to their sister location by mistake and they had to order a brand new one.

Can get a little crazy in the store at times (can seem like you walked into a party sometimes on busy nights) but the owner is a truly passionate gamer and always willing to help and advise on purchases (hes been there everytime I visit) They will negotiate the price based on damage levels of the cards based on TCG Player appraisals which many other single sellers dont seem willing to do in the area so big plus for that. Mainly an MTG and boardgames shop but they have a lot of cute gifts and toys for any gamer inclined person in your life. The community at the store is also very kind and curious, Ive been approached multiple times and carried on conversations with other customers asking what your looking for or just to chat and been offered to join in on games. An A+ store and community overall.
