These people never ever answer the phone. I bought a case of Red snapper. Paid $80+. And the fishstink. Its frozen and it stink so bad. Nobody have money to waste like that I know I will have to deal with bad attitudes if I tried to return it.I will just continue to support my Dekalb Farmers market were everything is fresh. And the market do not smell. *****...I did take the fish back. Left my receipt. Manger need to take so serious management skills. Her attitude is ridiculous. The lady in the fish department said she didnt smell anything. My hands, cloths and car smelled like bad fish. Got a store credit picked up a few thing and was glad to leave that store. Doubt that I will return!!!

If you made it here congrats, this is special! So much space and attention given to ingredients that can otherwise be hard to find, reasonable prices, and huge selection. Proud to support what was otherwise just another run down strip mall in the neighborhood. Just the spice aisle and seafood section alone are reason enough to keep coming back here! Be on the lookout for fresh herbs, callaloo, pumpkin, breadfruit, wild cause fish/crawfish, and some bizarre meats. Similar to the dekalb farmers market but calmer 😬.

I used to shop at this store from when it was located at I-285 and Covington Hgwy. I like shopping there because I can find items that are imported from the Caribbean, Asian and African. The produce, meats and seafood seems to be fresh (sometimes) and if youre looking for items from your homeland (country) youll find them there.

I went today for items to make green seasoning. I was able to find everything at reasonable prices.The store is Extremely clean and well stocked. The layout is sensible and easy to follow.Customers are asked to wash their hands at a station set up outside and everyone (staff and customers) wear masks. Social distancing is strictly followed and the staff is helpful and pleasant.I’ve read another review complaining about the safety measures and perception is not always reality. I enjoyed my visit and have no complaints. Follow the establishments rules or go to another establishment. I appreciate that they take safety and cleanliness very seriously.

First time here. Located on S. Hairston and Covington Hwy. They make you wash your hands before entering. Clean and the staff is friendly. Lots of selections and the fish they clean and cut for you if you like. They also have cookware and storage containers. In the front theres oils. Interesting place.

This was a nice discovery in the area. In addition to having standard grocery store items, you can get exotic produce and authentic ethnic offerings.

Wasn’t impressed....The same food can be found in the local supermarket for less. This is a warehouse that sell Caribbean products. The bathroom was clean a plus but the seafood area was a turn off ... I couldn’t proceed further the odor was so strong. Smell like stale seafood or dead fish. The staff was not welcoming.

This is really a great farmers market... But they take it too far. They give off the vibe of being self righteous...They have all these rules. And dont even think about the customer is always right slogan..Not here. Its their way or leave.The prices arent competitive.. Caribbean fruit 🍉 But never tastes like you expect. I only go bimonthly... If that. And for specific items. You can get the same things at many other markets or stores with better customer service and prices.

I just called to ask about a product and the employee was Very Rude. I asked to speak to someone for Specific information, she placed me on hold(understandable) but never returned. Tried calling back and No Answer; and they wonder why our Black Businesses lack Support.

This store is convenient for the little add on things needed when cooking. The quality of the produce is hit or miss. Dont know if thats on the produce manager or the buyer, but its bringing down the produce department. Good selection but often times bad quality. Produce shouldnt be dirty or already spoiling on the shelf. Thats a no-no. Because of the smell when entering the store I cant even think about buying meat or fish from here. Im torn between if the smell disappears or if I just get use to it. This shouldnt be a question when in a grocery store. Still customer service is always good. Miss doing my Sunday morning shopping here though. It was one of my Sunday morning things to do. The only store that you could shop and listen to gospel music. Youd pass other customers humming, or just smile and nod. The whole store would be in a good mood. Hope they reconsider opening on Sundays again, that would be a great convenience to their customers that Im sure would be appreciated.

Yesterday I have bought salmon for over 50$. It was not fresh. Extrimely dissapointed.

Had everything I wanted. I got Irish moss, black soap and shea butter and they even had hemp seeds. Great store. Will definitely shop there on a regular.

They NEVER answer the phone like EVER! I asked about an out of stock item and the staff person actually told me to call tomorrow knowing they werent going to answer. Very disappointing. I dont know how they are still in business with there practices

Have been coming here for over a year. Came yesterday, April 25th. Waited in line to enter (10 shoppers were allowed in at a time). As I approached the door, I was told to put a mask on. After washing my hands I was allowed in to shop. Once inside, I picked up two items and waited in a long check out line. There were makers for 6 ft separation but workers/ owner continued to step directly in front of me while I was in line and point at the shelves speaking an unfamiliar language. As I finally made to to be the next person to be called up to check out. I was rudely approached by a cashier she told me that I would not be able to purchase my items because I did not have a mask on. (This is not a law or ordinance at this time and I cannot wear a mask for medical reasons) This business should understand local and state laws and ordinances. I believe this was discriminatory because others were allowed in to shop that didn’t have a mask in and there were shields that separated the shopper from the cashiers. The lady that approached me was about 5 inches from my person just to tell me that I had to leave and wouldn’t be able to shop there. This is unacceptable and I have began following up with the county to file a formal business complaint.

When shopping here, do not expect service you have grown accustomed to from Publix or Krogers . To compound matters the latino/ asian staff are not abashed when it comes to its disregard for customer service. This is worth mentioning considering that this market receives the majority of its patronage from Caribbean immigrants. There needs to be a greater appreciation and expression for its customers, because without our support then they are likely to close its doors. Case in point many businesses have suffered this fate due to covid-19 as customers have stayed away. There is room for improvement.

I was not going to be able to make the store today due to my overnight shift. I was going to take a early lunch to run out during the evening, but decided to call to check their holiday hours first. The phone was answered on the 1st ring with holiday cheer and with an extremely polite tone. She said they will be open til 08:30 Xmas Eve and on XMAS DAY from 0800-1600!. I told her she made my day, she said, You made mine for valuing our business.. KUDOS to the Caribbean Farmers Market.

The Shea Butter was white and hard and old.It is supposed to be the texture of butter and light yellow in color.I have used Shea Butter before. I put a little on my face and eyes.I called up to tell them the quality was poor and was told to put it into a microwave to soften it.That did not sound right taking a natural product and destroying it with a microwave. The place looked dirty too not well kept.

Its great there if youre a spiritual person its a great place to buy your incense,candles, and sage on a budget 😉 the only thing I dont like about the store is the smell ☹️ that needs to be taken care of asap but other then that i love this store 🤩

Personally I would not set foot back in this store. Worst experience Ive ever had. The sea food Dept in particular horrible customer service and rude. When a store like this comes in our community and treats us like nothing we have to take a stand an let them know who spends the money in this store. And if they cant do better by us as a African American community we need to come together as a people and shut it down. My experience was with the seafood manager which is Latino which I felt as a customer very uncomfortable with his demeanor and condescending tone. And walked away from me when I was trying to make an order and left me standing there. If the manager of this store cant correct this he needs to go as well. We need to stop letting businesses lol Iike this in our community. If this business cant do better by us lets shut it down. Horrible!!!

I LITERALLY HATE GOING TO THIS STORE. IT SMELLS HORRIBLE! ITS NOT CLEAN AT ALL. I SLIPPED ON THE FLOOR WHILE SHOPPING BECAUSE THEY DECIDED TO USE EXCESSIVE POLISH TO WAX A DIRTY FLOOR. WHEN I told them that I slipped and it was safety issue. They never showed any compassion or apologized. Only pointed to the wet floor sign😑.

I have shopped at this store for so many years but I feel like they dont care about their customers. This year fathers day weekend I stopped by there on the way home just to grab some groceries, Not knowing that the store was closing early, cool. I can understand that, but when my godmother and I arrived at the check out, this dirty drugged looking white girl with nasty teeth was so freaking rude to us, I hurried up and got out of there before a confrontation occured, obviously by that time I was irritated. I asked her are you having a good day? She said oh I have a cold so thats why youre being nasty to the people that support your job. I left now today the bag of rice I purchased that day is fulled of bugs. Shockingly, I checked the rice just to see, and it is filled with little creatures. I have been calling them, but no one is answering the phone which is bad customer service. Depends on how this end, I dont blame them for this incident but as a merchant you are responsible for what you sell. Things happen, so I look forward to going up there to exchange this bag of bugs rice

Thieves!I paid for groceries and when I arrived to my home, I found that an item I bought $21.95 worth of meat was not packed in the bag. When I called the store, they asked if it was 5 lbs of meat, which is exactly what was not packed. I drove back to the store only to be told that nothing was on record for being missing. Therefore there was nothing that could be done. Even though someone had told me earlier that they have. So now, not only did they steal my grocery item, I wasted gas running back and forth for nothing.Dont waste your time shopping here. They are unscrupulous!

Very rude customer service. 2 of the MALE employees were arguing with me when I visited here today because I request for service with placing my order to get some fish. I was getting other items here and I lefted everything and went to DeKalb where I found cheaper prices for my fish. I was a regular here but after these MALE open their mouths today its the last time. On to DeKalb farmers market I go. Ps. Mi work too hard fi my money fi a argue with people fi get some service fyi them have other farmers market. Uno fava idiot. Also do something about the smell inna this place mi go other farmers market when have seafood section and in there no smell so.

Price of Ox tail too high, memorial drive a $1 cheaper per pound. They run out of Reggae Country jerk season so mi a have fi go to the Memorial drive market any way. Next tim mi a just by pass this place and go straight to memorial drive unless I need something very simple.
