Updated to add that after being treated rudely and almost flat out refusing to load our tub, they hit it with the forklift and broke the porcelain. Apparently someone decided to ram the side of it because they were mad they had to load it. I will be contacting corporate about this matter.We ordered a bathtub for our new build and when it came in, we called 30 minutes ahead of time to let them know my husband was coming to get it. Once he was there, he called and let them know he was there for pick up and waited 45 minutes with no help, and no tub. When I called the front desk, the employee took an attitude with me and said she didn’t know if they could even get it outside. I explained to her how long he waited and she said that he may have to wait longer because they couldn’t find any employees to get it out and then hung up on me. We had planned to order cabinets and appliances with your store for our new home and will now be taking our business elsewhere. Thank your rude employees for your loss.

Would much rather go to home Depot than Lowes. Prices are much better and you check out faster.

Amazed at how empty the shelves were. The main item I went for has to now be special ordered. The lady was very nice and apologetic. The other items I needed per husbands request, metal locking nuts, I was given in metric. The youngs man was very nice. Husband on his way back to the store to return what I got and get what he needs. The other item, a wood product, also has to be ordered. No seeds for my winter vegetable garden. No fertilizer stakes. Not good. Store clean. Staff nice.

I understand that in the current events most people dont want to be in crowded places much less near strangers, but offering assistance in order to locate a product should be available in a safe manner. No help, no product, no purchase and no return visit! 😠

1st of all, can we get someone who wants to allow me to spend my money? Is it really necessary to have one register to except the green paper we call money ALLlllllll the way down to the end of the store? Whats the point in being so disrespectful to those of us who are trying to give you money. Why all self checkouts are cash only? Thats why people get so mad at the saLes associates. They dont even try to get you taken care of. I went to home depot every morning at the same time for supplies to me throughout the day. This sheer disgust with the store and those who represent home depot has lost my business to Harbor Freight and Lowes. Even though tractor split is high process it worth an extra dollar to be treated as a valuable asset to their business I refuse to ever Grace the floors of home depot with my feet again. Usually prefer Lowe’s but just dealt with Jasmine in the paint department. She was so knowledgeable and patient with my lack of knowledge.Recommend some great products and Ideas.Also was very quick to help everyone around us!This woman knows how to work! they should put her in charge!

Quick in and out folks happy to help very professional but yet still friendly

Before buying Home Depot warranty products, be careful it is very danger hidden part, they will not come to repair. They just give you schedule but never come. I have still warranty period but they give me 6-7 times schedule but never come to repair. It takes more than 30 minutes to make schedule but still not coming. Finally I guess I need to call some technical person and repair my dryer still I am at warranty period. So please please please anyone before buying Home Depot warranty stuff be aware. Hope it will help new costumers. Specially never buy Samsung because Samsung said you are out of warranty and Home Depot warranty department said Samsung and Home Depot works together, but surprisingly no one comes to repair. And we lost our time and the make you puzzled us. So this is my very bad experience with Home Depot and this is my first claim to repair but I am not able to repair because they just give me schedule but never come.

Steve in the paint center helped us a couple of weeks ago with buying paint for our home. He was so friendly and did such a wonderful quick job getting our ten gallons ready. My husband and I are on the alternative side and he did not judge us once based on our appearance; while other workers followed us around the store like we will stealing. We spent a thousand dollars that night and other workers treated us very badly while Steve went over and beyond to help us. Btw the short lady at self check out doesnt need to profile or discriminate against people by appearance and follow them around.

As the owner of a professional remodeling company, their pro service representatives are top notch, and their loyalty program and bulk discount pricing are a very nice perk. But in addition to that their department employees are not only responsive and courteous, but generally very knowledgeable about practical application in the field and how to trouble shoot situations. More than once the plumbing department has steered me in the right direction when I was at a loss on how to proceed. For the pro or homeowner, Home Depot will generally have anything you need for a project, and if they don’t will try and get it for you or direct you to a place locally that will have it.

Home Depot came out and did a measurement for flooring installation. They will not give me the measurements and did not measure the bathroom. I paid for it and it was written on the order. They are supposed to come back out but have not shown up yet. I went ahead and ordered the flooring from them. I called for 3 days trying to get in touch with Ace. He was the one over my order. He has never returned my call. The carpet is supposed to be delivered 3 days prior to installation. When I called to inquire what time the flooring would be delivered, Ace told me that I needed to figure that out with the company Home Depot contracts that out to. He did not offer to help at all. He did not offer to call them. He provided no help at all. This is the 2nd home that I have used them to carpet. My 1st experience was great. This experience was hell. I will not use them again.

I dont usually do reviews, but I had a great experience buying a microwave from Caylin in the appliance section . She was patient and looked for information I needed before I made a decision. She was such a pleasure after being treated poorly at a different big box store.

Five months ago, I paid for a set of windows and installation. They have yet to install all of my windows. When I contact Customer Service, Im told they will fix the problem. So far (after FIVE MONTHS), they have yet to contact me or fix the problem. So they took my money and didnt give me my windows.

They were awesome, mixed my paint and is great thanks.

Up on the game. The home Depot on Decatur Alabama is a fairly good store. I gave them a five because of the material and the way they have things organized. I did have to wait about 30 minutes have a key made but other than that really good store.

Went to purchase landscaping timbers for my parents today. It was not good experience. Get there and locate the timbers. Then have to search for a cart to load these timbers on. Some employees were around but none acknowledged me or offer any help. After getting 20 good straight timbers picked out and loaded on cart, I proceed to checkout. The lady at checkout was very nice. She was the only bright spot to this experience. She ask if I needed help loading these into my truck. I replied yes I would like help. After completing the checkout process, She found James parking a electric cart by the exit door. She instructed him to assist me with loading these timbers. I pushed the cart outside to get out of the door way. Waited 5 minutes but no James. I proceeded to push the cart towards my truck, taking my time to give ample opportunity for James to catch up. James never appeared. I loaded the 20 timbers into my truck, strapped them down, and left. I am disappointed in the service especially since help was offered but not provided. If I had went to Lowes or Corums Hardware, I would have been helped from time I walked in the store, assisted with picking out and loading these timbers into my truck. I expect better service from Home Depot. I may have saved $4.40 on these timbers but the service was not worth the few dollars saved. I give 2 stars and these are for the cashier. No one else there appears to care about their customers.

They have fallen victim like most retailers being forced to hire young people who lack customer service skills as well as a knowledge of the merchandise.

Placed an order online, was notified that half the order was ready. Part of the order was 18 - 2x3x8 spruce boards, and I expected that a few would be warped. But, when I picked up the order, ten of the eighteen boards were so warped they looked like the bottom of a rocking chair. Otherwise, everything else was fine. I definitely will use this location again.

Self-service home improvement store. No body wearing orange even spoke to me except for the one operating the register. Good thing I knew what I was looking for.

Jasmine in the paint center was so helpful! She walked us through the best types of paints for the rooms we wanted to paint and made sure we got the best price! She was super sweet and really listened to what we were wanting to accomplish in our house. AMAZING customer service!

I went to Home Depot to check on winterizing my home but not certain what all I needed. An associate not only helped me find what I needed but offered suggestions for things I could do without purchasing anything. I will personally be doing all my DIY projects from this store.
