My husband works for the SAME COMPANY! I bought my car in January. Said I have 3 oil changes free. I also have an equinox with a bike rack so it is not allowed to go through an automated car wash. Schedule my oil change online says it’s oil change, check filters, and car wash included. I walk in to drop it off with Bryan I ask how long it will take he doesn’t even look up to see the car you can tell by his response. He says an hr it’s just an oil change. I said no it says it gets a car wash too. He says yeah I’ll just run through the automated car wash, I said you can not run it through there it has a bike rack…. (Because he didn’t look at the car) he said then I can’t wash it I don’t have anything else other than that. (Chevy has a detail dept he just doesn’t want to send it to them) after all of this he tells me it’s $64.99 I said I should have 3 free oil changes. He says no you have 2, if you want 3 you’ll have to go to the dealership you bought it from and talk to them…. (The dealership across the street he could easily just call) then he goes on to tell me about how it’s just a voucher he has in his desk that someone needs to fill out. I just can’t believe you allow your service dept to act like that and lie to customers like it’s no big thing especially when it’s with one of your other employees standing right there. I don’t care how many oil changes I get I’m not bringing my car back again.

I am really not a complainer; however, I will be honest when it matters. I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt to a fault. So, I struck out with Voss despite having a positive selling experience on 2 occasions. I reached out to their service dept. on 3 different occasions and struck out. To be honest, I had 3 average interactions too. But, you want a 3 hour oil change? This is your place despite seeing your vehicle was done in less than 2 hours (which is like eating a cold burrito). When you point it out, the person behind the glass will not investigate. Secondly, how about some warranty work...What garage doesnt love that...Apparently Voss. They will schedule a 7:30 am appointment while their service technicians do not come in until 9:00 am. When you call in at 10 am, their technician hasnt even looked at your vehicle. Finally, what if you call in and it goes to voice mail? Leave a message and expect a call back right? Nope! Nothing. Got it fixed by their local competition instead. Will not use them again or purchase from them either. It is a shame since they have a strong sales staff.

I would advise you never bring your vehicle here for service. My husband and I bought his truck from Voss in March 2019, less than 6 months later the battery completely died and we had to have this replaced and after the service department refused to replace it, we bought one on our own and the sales department reimbursed us. Then, less then 2 months after the batter died we had issues with oil pressure and had to replace the cylinder head, valve cover, etc. (luckily at this time the warranty was still good so we paid about $100 for the deductible+ $213 for the engine oil cooler lines that weren’t covered under warranty ). Then on December 2nd, 2020 we had that same issue and had to replace the same exact parts and more so we paid $307.98 for an oil change because this time they blamed this issue on an aftermarket oil filter causing a leak again into the cylinder head and valve cover. Then January 25th having this same issue again and they are saying it’s “unrelated” (I’ve seen this happen in several other reviews listed here as well) and that now the issue is the oil pressure sensor and this is $450 + “shop charges” and tax: totals $505.35 on top of whatever labor charge they would have charged us. We declined this service on Friday 1/29/2021 and the guy said he could take $50.00 off (like that would help). We told them BJ’s in Waynesville said they could fix this for less than $250 and we declined the service again and didn’t get a response for 5 days as to when we could pick up our vehicle and Yesterday 2/4 my husband texted the service guy, called the service dept multiple times and no one would answer so we called the sales department and they informed us that the service shop had closed down due to covid and we got no notification regarding this or when we could pick up our vehicle. Today 2/5/2020 we got a text saying “your vehicle is ready for pickup.” My husband went to get our truck and they refused to release it until we paid them another $139.32 which no one told us anything about until pickup time for “diagnostics and labor”. I am not sure why they would’ve had to 1) charge a diagnostics fee as the print out of auto zones diagnostics was on the front passenger side seat, and 2) charge for labor when we refused the service.....? Needless to say, we are talking with our lawyer about lemon laws and the excessive charges as we brought our vehicle to them 4 times within 2 years for issues they are not competent enough to fix. Steer clear, they’re all a bunch of money hungry pigs.

To start with the basics: the showroom is amazing. Clean, open and inviting. The inventory is vast as a great dealership should be. The location is easy to get to from anywhere in the greater Dayton areaNow the amazing details. My son had a 07 Hyundai that had blown up on him. He needed a vehicle desperately. He still owed 6 grand on the vehicle and we were clueless what to do. Enter Jim Mills. He took his time to understand our situation. He genuinely asked questions such as, what about new, what about cheap used from his dealership or even private owner. How far my son drives to work, what he would be happy with and then he went to work on options and crunching numbers. At the end of the day he and the finance manager, Ryan, got him into a brand new 2019 Chevy Trax. The man couldve heard the upside down loan my son had and sent him packing, but he worked for a couple hours to get us out from under the old clunker and losing end of the loan. Voss has earned my familys business and I will point any perspective car buyer in their direction.

The work done was ok BUT: To start, until this service visit I was a loyal Voss customer, that has just changed! I had made an appointment almost 2 weeks in advance to drop my truck off on Monday 14 Sep at 0830 and expected it to take about 3 days, was told at drop off probably going to take 4 or 5, no big deal, yet. 1st text said they did not get to the truck because of previous vehicles now looking at next week, next update on that Friday the 18th said late next week. Monday’s msg still looking at late that week. Then nothing so Thursday the 24th I reached out and found out the service rep had been updating the wrong person on my truck, and I received my only apology during this entire ordeal for that, next I find out wrong part came in and was now looking at the next week. Friday was told looking at Thursday or Friday of the next week. Wednesday update truck on schedule, Thursday update will be ready Friday, Friday update at 1630 just putting together tech wants to keep till Saturday. So a 3 or 4 day job took over 3 work weeks, never did I get a real phone call, an apology for it taking this long or contacted by someone higher up to talk, any one or more of these happing would have gone a long way to calm me down. Time to take my vehicles for service some place else if not all of my business, I have bought two new vehicles from Voss Chevy in last 5 or 6 years.

This trip was an emergency appointment. Batteries were making the rest of the systems do intermittent things. They were able to get us in quickly and solve the problems we had and get the truck back to us within the day.

Always courteous. Quick to get you in when you have an appointment. Good quality service. They take their time, but do the job correctly. Competitively priced labor and parts with local shops. They will let you know if there is anything wrong with your car and they are honest about how big of a priority it is to get that fixed or if it can wait.

The customer service here is usually hit or miss; Ive never been super wowed by anything, nor have I ever been fuming angry. The actual vehicle service always leaves a lot to be desired, coming from a dealership. Service advisors seem to come and go with high turnover. Most people assume a very high manufacturer knowledge at dealerships, but Ive taken cars to other places that seem to know a lot more, or at least communicate/pretend that they do. I have my Chevrolet work van serviced here whenever it needs it, and the bottom line is that theyre always booked so far out, they seldom go above and beyond, the cost is always gouging, and some of my issues that have come up on the vehicle were either unsolved or required multiple, seemingly unnecessary trips. I might be more upset if it were my personal vehicle, but then again, I am wise enough to have never trusted a dealership with my personal vehicle in the first place.

My 2013 Elantra I purchased from their used car section started having a knocking sound come from the engine. Scheduled an appointment & after a few days was told theyd need to replace the engine. Luckily I bought an extended warranty so all I have to pay is a small deductible. There was one mix up but it wasnt their fault. The engine was delivered to the wrong dealer at first. Through this whole thing theyve given me a Chevy equinox with all the bells and whistles to use till is running again.

If you need professional technicians who will stand by their work, do not go here.I took my car in for a free GM recall on a power steering assist. The power steering light was on, but the power steering itself was working. Two hours after they promised it would be done, they told me that the power steering itself went out, and it would cost $650 to replace, though they insisted they didnt do anything to it. I waited a total of 7 hours before they finally said they couldnt get it fixed that day.They fixed it the next day, and I grudgingly paid the $650 so I could have a vehicle. But later while on the road, I realized that there was a service airbag light, and the horn and cruise control were out. None of this was happening when I first brought my car in.I took it back to them. After another 2 hours they contacted me to again insist they had nothing to do with them malfunctioning, and they would offer me a price estimate for fixing something else that wasnt broken before I took my car there.I had several talks with the service rep and general manager with no success.I have never suggested avoiding a place of business until now.

Went in for a 2015 equinox oil pan issue caused by the service team not seeing the cna tire care i paid for. The tire blew causing collision damage instead of working for a resolution took several more calls to them after reaching out to our insurance company. The amount of headache this service team offers is amazing. They faxed information to car insurance and the cashier has no knowledge of this 3 hours later.... I love having a tight work schedule that gets pushed off because of their incompetence. At this point I would rather watch youtube videos as a how to guide then come back

After a online form, phone call, and talk in person they still didnt preform the services I requested and was willing to pay for, all I recieved was an oil change and tire rotation. Then attempted to convince me my tires were out of alignment less than a month after I bought a full set of new tires and got an alignment. If you come here for service make sure you watch them closely and make it very clear what you want. I dont think Ill be comming back here despite it being the closest chevy dealer. Was really hoping this would be a good experience seeing how well they were treating my father at Voss Cadillac.

Have brought my Equinox in 4 times for motor issues. They kept saying nothing was wrong. Took it in for my air conditioner not working said it just needed recharged and it blew out hot air. Brought it back in the following week because of the air conditioner not working and they kept it for three days saying first it was the condenser then it was the compressor. And charged me twice to fix a problem they never fixed the first time or I was not allowed to have my car. Poor service. This place is a joke and ruined Chevy experience for me. I will never buy from them again. And my motor still makes the same chirping noise. Do not do business here!!

Worst dealership experience I have ever had. Service managers dont know the Chevrolet car they sold us and service. Last experience was a recall for the seatbelt and brake light. Took car in and when we picked the car up the Airbag light is now on and wasnt before they worked on it. When we stopped within a mile of the dealership we were told that it wasnt related to the service and they couldnt look at it that day anyways. Total disregard for customer safety and experience. This 2011 Chevrolet Malibu from Voss that has been in to this shop too many times I will never buy a car from Voss or have them service any car I ever own. I also will not ever buy a Chevrolet again (a sad statement since I come from a GM family that has been loyal to GM for the last 50 years). GM should seriously consider getting rid of Voss as a dealer. Their warranty service is an embarassement to GM and has convinced me not to buy GM again.

Ive used this dealer three times, once for an oil change and re alignment, and twice for just an oil change and tire rotation. The first time I visited was nice, the staff was helpful and very accommodating, even though I didnt have an appointment. I got an oil change and tire rotation and it only took about an hour. Now the second and third times were completely different. The second time I scheduled a 9:30am appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and re alignment. It was about 1:30pm when I called to check on my car seeing as it had been a long time for a relatively simple service. I was told my service manager was on lunch. Two hours later he calls back to let me know they ARE JUST STARTING ON MY VEHICLE!! About an hour and a half later I get the call saying its ready. It took them about 15 minutes to get my car after i arrived at the service center. Finally the third time, my most recent visit, I just got the standard oil change and tire rotation again. I scheduled a 7:30am appointment and made plans to go out to breakfast, assuming it would be done within the next hour or hour and a half, only to call at 9:30 with no response, and then calling again just so they can tell me it would be ready at 10:30. What is the point of making appointments, if I know that they are going to take priority to people who just walk in? I will not be doing business with voss chevy service anymore, the first time is a mishap, the second time is unreasonable. Do not do business with Voss chevy unless you like sub par customer service and even worse service times
