I am giving Camera Corner three stars as I had wanted to get 4 rolls of 35mm film scanned and developed. They called me a couple days later and informed me that their machine destroyed 2/4 rolls of my film and they cant do anything about it. I talked with Ted the owner and we agreed that I would get $100 for credit towards scanning and developing. Overall good place, just sad my film was destroyed from a trip and I cant get those memories back ever. Im happy we could come to an agreement.

I bought a promaster tripod while I was in SD, while using it I realized that it had a defect. Knowing I would not be able to get back to the store I purchased it from I emailed promaster who told me to take it to the nearest dealer, which was Camera Corner. We live an hour from their location, but my husband happen to be going to school in Davenport so I asked him to take it in. While my husband was there he received the most extraordinary service, friendly, helpful and best of all hassle free. They switched out my tripod no questions asked, once seeing the defect. My husband raved about this place and I can’t wait to visit myself! Thank you so much Camera Corner!

Really appreciated the service, support and advice I received from Ted today. I thought I would be dropping off my camera and one lense to have cleaned. I also had a cross key sticking. Ted quickly started cleaning the camera and working to resolve the cross key issue. I asked several questions while he was working and gained some valuable information and advice. Ted finished servicing while I waited. Though I live 50 miles away I will definitely return as needed and consider Camera Corner as my go to place. Its definitely improved over the years as I hadnt been there for quite awhile. Thanks, Ted!

I have now bought 2 Tamron lenses in the last year for my Canon at Camera Corner. The staff there has really listened to my needs and always pointed me in the right direction. The camera corner is a nice place with good friendly people, but their camera inventory is WAY less than what they used to have. They only had signs for a couple of Canon cameras and one Nikon. I didnt see any cameras on display. They do do excellent work making enlargements.

I remember going to The Camera Corner with my dad when I was young and they are just as great now as they were then. Great service, knowledgeable staff, quality products. Admittedly, they are a little more expensive aince they specialize in such quality equipment and accessories but they quality you get is worth the price you pay.

Always super helpful, super knowledgeable. Even when Im asking about something weird, theres SOMEBODY in the shop who knows exactly what I need. The best place in the area for film developing, good selection and knowledge of both consumer and professional photo and video equipment, even photo printing and frames! Only downside is that I live on the other side of the river from them.

I pushed 100 speed film to 400. I went in there today to get it developed. The person I interacted with told me that pushing film wasnt possible due to the way that the chemicals and the colors of film would interact when developed. After I dropped it off I looked up pushed film and I was confused because I saw the excellent results that one can receive when film is manipulated. The person I interacted with did not convey the complications involved with pushing film. They didnt tell me it would take longer. They didnt tell me they dont have the resources. They didnt even say they dont have the knowledge to do so. Any of that would have been acceptable. Instead I felt I was misinformed about film pushing altogether.I got a handful of poorly exposed photos and now Im considering sending my buisness to a film lab that knows what the process involved with pushing film. This was unfortunately a disappointing and frustrating experience from a buisness I had otherwise enjoyed.Edit: The owner reached out to me very quickly to voice his apology about my experience. He was polite and thorough in explaining the reasons for them not being able to develop my pushed film. He covered the charge of my next roll development, and although I was upset with my previous experience I can say that the owner and employees take great pride in the work they do and they will bend over backwards to ensure every customer has the best experience possible.

Started working with Camera Corner team on a print project through a referral, which is going well. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they also do commercial video shoots and editing. Also great feedback in regards to camera purchase for our needs, worked with a great sales member. Highly suggest to visit Camera Corner for their expertise!

If youre into photography this is the place to go! Get all the equiptment you need to get started. They have a large variety of brands of cameras. They sell all types of accessories and bags as well as everything you need to get a professional studio set up. They print pictures of all sizes. And they are all super friendly and very knowledgeable. They will provide you with any information you might need about photography. If youre into film they offer cameras that are great for that as well. They carry drones and 360 cameras too. Stop in and check them out. You wont be disappointed!

Ive really only worked with John at Camera Corner because he is SUPER FRIENDLY and knows a ton about what they have in stock, pricing, and as a new Wedding Photographer in town I needed quite a few tips, and different things to start out with, and he has gone out of his way to make sure I had everything to get me through my first couple of Weddings with a hitch! And with such reasonable pricing Im renting things first to try them out before deciding what I need to buy first (like a stabilizing bar and flash cord, and lens). Unfortunately they didnt have the cheap flash for Nikon in stock the day I needed it (because I waited until the last minute to get it), HOWEVER, John did make sure the one I bought worked properly and helped show me how to set it all up and take it off without breaking it! I have been purchasing camera equipment from the Camera Corner since 1991. They have always been more then helpful and are very knowledgeable about their products. More recently I have been working with Doug and highly recommend him and all the sales staff.

I have been looking for a tripod for quite some time. I had some ideas of what I wanted but nothing definite. Brian helped me out first. As he was showing me tripods, Mr. Doty, the new owner walked through. He stopped right away and was so helpful. He took lots of time showing me the tripods and explaining the differences. I was totally satisfied with both guys efforts to see that I got what I wanted. I will definitely be returning for more camera equipment.

Wanted to order an item I saw on the website. Called to ensure it was in stock prior to placing the order and was confirmed all good. Received a single, automated response that my payment was processed and ordered received. Called 3 days later to ask about shipment status. Order had not shipped yet. Called back that afternoon and asked for tracking number. After several minutes on hold, received tracking number (obviously just generated). Tracking number not found until next day.Ordered received, missing part. Called to inquire. Guy said I have it in my hand with get it right to you. Called a week later after no part, no call. Was put on hold again and was given (obviously just generated tracking number). Tracking number not found until next day.Cant speak for in-store experience but the e-commerce experience from shopping cart, to notifications, to shipping feel very much like 1998.
