Called ahead & left a message of hours. Responded professionally and we set up time for an emissions test & 80k mileage service. Both were completed quickly & well. During the service work there were a few items that they found which we were able to add to the order and get them done at the same time. They were easy to work with & quite pleasant. I had a problem with a screeching sound when I put the car in reverse but nothing could be found. With a report showing what my future needs are, I can budget them in. They also email you reminders of your auto needs.

This may be a terrible pun, but what a well oiled machine of an operation. You come, they have your paperwork all set outside with tabs for initials and signatures, they give you a multipoint breakdown that they text you as soon as they are done, you can pay online, and they are all so friendly, its almost a shame they are so good at covid and social distancing that dont give them more of a high five.Im really impressed with their professionalism, their quality of service, and the attitudes of the staff.Thanks for the help!

Finding a trustworthy auto repair shop is often a case of stepping off a cliff, not knowing whether you are going to be satisfied with the level of service, mechanical knowledge or getting ripped off for unnecessary repairs. Having used AutoTECH Blackhawk for my daughters Lexus twice now, I can honestly say I trust them. They do excellent work are very transparent with assessments and have a genuine interest in making sure you leave with a smile on your face - though somewhat poorer. Ill keep coming back.

AutoTECH Blackhawk is an excellent repair and maintenance auto shop. They are cautious but friendly and very accomodating. They are careful and very aware of COVID-19 restrictions and go out of their way to keep customers safe.

My daughter’s Toyota Camry was “ Making funny noises”. We called AutoTech Blackhawk and they said to bring the car in the next morning. They performed a VERY complete inspection of her 2007 Camry. The noise was a bad alternator bearing. They also found a bad tail light and a small A/C hose leak. They fixed everything perfectly. They are very friendly and easy to talk to. My Daughters car was fixed correctly the first time. Great service. I wold recommend AutoTech Blackhawk to anyone looking for an excellent and honest auto mechanic.

I had a new starter button installed. How the old one was broken, I do not know, but it was taken care of quickly and efficiently.

Finding a good mechanic is always tough, finding one you can trust is even more difficult! We were referred to Auto TECH Blackhawk from a friend. Wow am I glad I tried them out, not only are Kasey & Catherine awesome people, the work is excellent as well! Their use of technology is awesome! Kasey performed a complete inspection of my vehicle and sent the entire report to me, including photos, via text message. AutoTECH...- very professional- detailed- tech driven, at least compared to my other auto maintenance experiences. You get a comprehensive report emailed to you with photos and explanations of the vehicle review, their suggestions and associated risk- Communication was great. They kept me update every step of the way- They don’t push their “suggested” repairs on you, they just bring it to your attention- Jimmy specifically worked hard to reduce the labor and material costs the whole way through. Making phone calls and tracking down parts that are hard to come by/discontinued- I’m a repeat customer and will be going forward

Been living in the Tri-Valley for a year. Moving to a new place I look for a few things, good Indian Food, a barber who understands my weird hair and a mechanic you can trust. My VW TDI was in need of an oil change, and general once-over. I read a few reviews about this place and I felt they would be a good place to go. I am glad I did. The mechanic Kacey who did the work on my car really understood the vehicle and was very competent. I will be going back, I found my Car-guy. (PS, the complimentary loaner car while my car was being taken care of was a definite plus)

My 2007 Honda Accord for no reason what so ever would shut off every couple of days it was horrible! After 3 years of this unsafe situation I took it to a shop near my house. After they kept my car for four days I picked it up for hopefully with some good news or even an explanation as to why it does this... but I unfortunately got nothing, they basically told me nothing was wrong with my car. I let it go for another couple months until I was in the middle of the road stuck. I was ready to get rid of my car completely until one of my patients referred me to autoTech in Blackhawk.The owners Casey & Catherine welcomed me with open arms and understood how frustrated I was about my vehicle, they were very understanding & made me feel like it was not my imagination.Their auto technician Jose took the time to listen to my every detail & knew exactly what was going on. Replaced my fuel pressure regulator & main relay which took one day & 6 months later I am still BEYOND thankful with absolutely no issues. A thousand thank yous, would highly recommend this shop!

Cant say enough positive things about autoTECHs customer service. Desperately needing a car service amid the COVID-19 lockdown felt stressful and they made it easy. Picked my car up and brought it back to me in the same day, with the service cost well below the initial estimate (and saved me close to a thousand dollars compared to the dealership).

I wouldnt take my car/truck there ever again. Grossly overcharge. I took my twice and never would again. On my truck I needed front breaks completely. Their price w everything 850 dollars. Big o 580. Thats just brakes! They are also looking build up the cost by adding other little items.

I just want to say that Kacey, Jimmy and the entire AutoTECH crew are by far the best mechanics in all of East Bay! These guys are professionals! From the start of an appointment setting, they provide info of what they’ll do to help you with your car, and then they have a system that they use by emailing you there concerns with photos! They literally what felt as if they took my car apart and used a flashlight to find every little concern they find and then send me a photo of there concern, and the information of what needs to be done! It’s absolutely genius! I get to be informed of what needs fixing and also see why it needs fixing. These other dealerships may get your car done quick with a in an out moment, but AutoTECH does the same thing but with the knowledge and know how to get it done right! AutoTECH ( Kacey, Jimmy and the entire Crew) will always work on my cars! There the BEST and always with a positive attitude!

Kacey and his team are incredible. They do immaculate work ranging from a 2006 Toyota Prius to a 1950s mint condition collectible corvette. The whole team is very nice and accommodating. Kacey was happy to talk to me about what I needed done to my car. He explained to a t what was wrong and what he planned to do to fix it. He gave me options for price of parts etc. really it’s been the most transparent automotive transaction I’ve been a part of. Imagine taking your car to the dealership, except it’s not dealership prices, and the owner takes the time to explain the process to the customer. Overall I would highly recommend this shop and I will continue to drive hours from my home just to have my car serviced here.

Wow. When I got a flat and it needed any place nearby that would fix it, I expected the same old service. This is not your average auto shop. Not only were they at able to accommodate me into their busy schedule, but they took the extra steps to make sure I got the service that was right for me – not any extra unnecessary services. They were very personable and friendly and I could tell they were all happy to be there, to work there. They take pride in their work. Not only did I get my flat fixed, but I decided to get some much needed replacement tires through them and I will definitely recommend them to family and friends. Its a good thing to find an auto repair shop where you can fully trust the management and the mechanics with your vehicle when you bring it in and that’s what I’ve found to be the case with Auto Tech in Danville. I’ve had my 2005 Toyota Tundra serviced many times there and have always been pleased with the results and with the clear communication regarding issues that are developing with my truck. The last time I brought my truck in I was having problems with my clutch, so I was pretty sure that I was in for an expensive clutch repair job. Instead, after fully checking out the clutch, the mechanic made some adjustments to the pedal and now my clutch issues are gone! A less scrupulous auto repair shop could have easily up sold me on a new clutch and I would have been none the wiser.If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy auto shop, I highly recommend Danville Auto Tech.

Had a lot of work done on a used car that I just purchased. They didnt try to pressure me into unnecessary services, prices were very fair and they did a great job!

I have a classic muscle car that in show car condition. The car had developed issues with the front brakes locking up. Jimmy got me set up with Kacey, who did a highly professional job replacing the spindles, calipers, booster and master cylinder. If you dont know, brake fluid is an incredibly effective paint stripper--not a good combo for a classic car. Kacey took extra care to ensure not a drop was spilled anywhere in the engine compartment. The team worked around my schedule, keeping my car inside safe from the elements and having the whole job done within a day of receiving the specialty parts. Jimmy, Kacey and the team earned my trust and future business. A class act, professional and knowledgeable--I highly recommend them for any job!

My Wife originally called and spoke with Ryan she told me he was very friendly and helpful as i found out for myself when i dropped my car off. they found out what the issue was very quickly and had it fixed that same day. also found out other issues with the car and told me how important or how long in there opinion it could be put off before it become a fix it now or else type of problem and let me make an informed decision. all in all very happy with the service and my car runs great!!!!!

Buyer beware: Untrustworthy bunch.I had a routine service done here - with all the trimmings and a couple of new parts this came to over $2k. Two days later, the engine warning light came on so I took it back for a diagnostic. Their quote to repair was another $2k, with lots of technical jargon justifying why such a high price - its a special part, needs to be sent off to another facility for complex technical work etc etc. But my car aint worth $4k in 2 weeks, so I took it home.I googled what they were telling me in the quote. Turns out, all it needed was a valve to be cleaned. So for 30 minutes of google research, and 30 minutes of very very simple mechanics and cleaning, I repaired my own car. And a $2.99 can of carburetor cleaner.I advise you to scrutinize their quote before you accept the work. They will gladly take your money!

About two years ago, the headlights on my old car were very fogged over.. When I took my car to AutoTECH, they kindly said they would look at my car and attempt to sand down my headlights - free of charge if it didnt work before replacing the set entirely.A few weeks ago, I took my new car to the VW dealership and they told me that I had about $1500 worth of things that needed fix on my car. I decided to take my car to autoTECH Blackhawk for an oil change and second opinion because of the great experience I had two years prior. After just a few hours in the shop, Kacey, the owner called me and explained very honestly that most things the VW dealership had told me to fix were completely fine. I also asked about my tires, breaks, etc and when he thought I should replace them. Kacey and his staff gave me honest feedback saying that although they were wearing down it was not urgent and that I still had miles on them.Being a student, car trouble can be financially stressful and very time consuming. Every time I take my car to Autotech, they are more than helpful. They are honest, timely, and super helpful with any questions you might have about your car (being a female, I feel that many auto places try to take advantage of what I dont know about cars.. AutoTECH definitely does not make me feel that way!).Point being, take your car to AutoTECH Blackhawk... you wont be disappointed!

Highly recommend Tassajara auto tech! They squeezed us in for an appointment and they fixed our passenger sliding door on our odyssey that 3 Honda dealers never could fix!They also fixed this annoying noise that the 3 Honda dealers also never could fix! They did regular maintenance too and finished everything in one day. The door fix was just 20$ so you can trust them for an honest price. Honda charged me 600$ and never fixed it. We will only take our cars to AutoTech now!Oh also, honestly, when I drove the odyssey off their shop lot it truly felt like a new car and it has 90k miles on it.
