I just took my Toyota Rava 4 into the dealership for service at the beginning of September 2020. I take it every 5,000 miles. I am now at 33,000! Each time the fluids are checked, the tires are rotated and balanced (OR) at least I thought they were. I noticed a rumble sound in the tires riding with my wife this morning and she said she had been hearing it since her last visit. She did not know what it was. She thought something was wrong with the tires, so I took the car today to Smith Tire in Danville and they said the tires had not been rotated and they were wore out, the steel was showing in the back driver side tire, but the other three tires are just as bad. I did not know about this until today, that is why I take the car in for service, that was part of why I bought it for good service, I thought. This tells me the tires had not been rotated at all each 5,000 mile service as bad as they are. This tells me the dealership did do what they stated on the form given to me each time that they had done, which was not done.That also tells me I have been lied too by Toyota and the service staff.When I bought the car, it was stated over and over again, I am buying this for my wife because she travels and that was told to the office manager when I bought the car for her. This is very important to have good tires on the car, good gas mileage, and a reliable vehicle I dont have to worry about. Nothing, absolutely nothing was said in September about the tires, nor have they ever said anything about the tires. SO, I went straight from Smith Tire to the Toyota dealership and the service department said there was nothing they could do, the tires are only good for 30,000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!Have you ever heard of such a thing? I was not told this when I bought the car, although they went through hell and high water to sell me every type of warranty they could, but nothing mentioned about a tire only being good for 30,000 miles. I reached out at 5:30 when I just arrived home to the Manager of the Dealership to make sure he knows what has occurred, the paperwork I have showing work that had not been done, and what he plans, if anything to do about this. I will wait until tomorrow - 10/1/2020

Great service from matter mechanics when needed especially the right place to go if you have a Toyota. I have a 2012 Prius V that runs just like it did the day I got it. Their service department sends out all recalls found for your vehicle and fixes them for you free of charge. They also send you reminders along with discounts for regular services like oil changes and air conditioning tune ups and other suggested time ups for the mileage of your car. Great staff great service.

I’ve had good and bad experiences with Danville Toyota. Their repair shop is not tied into the national Toyota database so any repairs done at a major dealer are unknown to them. They do not always do all the items you ask them to and you need to check to make sure that the service was done correctly. Major repairs were done OK, but things like checking belts and hoses and cleaning battery terminals may not get done without repeated requests.

Having problems with Toyota honoring their 100% tire coverage. Getting the run around. They said they submitted info, the tire company said no info twice today. Told them it was faxed and they said Toyota must verbally speak with them. Been on the phone for hours!! We paid $1,000.00 for these tires less than one year ago. Rode them for 14,000 miles. Michelin has so many recalls and unhappy customers that we did not know about. Finally, Michelin said they will cover 50% and Toyota must cover their own 100% coverage for less than one year!! Stay tuned..maybe they will call and confirm tomorrow. We are NOT happy!! We hope this can be resolved by Toyota. We always had good service til now.

He answered any questions I had in a quick manner and even had my estimate sent to me within a matter of 20 minutes. I was also inquiring with several other dealerships this day to see where I could get the best price and none responded as quickly as Elijah, which is ultimately what made my decision to choose Danville Toyota. This was my first experience with Danville Toyota for purchasing a vehicle. I was extremely impressed with my salesperson, her patience in helping my wife and I make up our mind and her determination to make the sale. Most car dealerships now appear as they do not care one way or the other, and just trying to make the sale, but Ashley had true concern of wanting what was best for us, and spent several hours reviewing vehicles and making sure we would be happy with our purchase. I would say she went above and beyond what was required of her to make sure that my wife and I was satisfied, which resulted in us purchasing (2) new vehicles.

Okay so my fiance called and inquired about a FJ cruiser and spoke to the people for over two weeks since she lives in Augusta. She made an offer which the dealership turned down. They told her that if she would pay the price the website stated that the owner would sell her the vehicle. She called a couple days later to let them know she would make the trip there and come look at it. She was then told that the owner of Danville Toyota had the vehicle at his house and would make sure that he would still sell it. They called her back to tell her that the owner had decided to keep the vehicle. I ask you what kind of dealership does business like this? I mean seriously after over 2 weeks of talking and negotiating the price to be treated that way? I had worked in a car dealership for 13 years and never had heard of such bad business dealings ever. Danville Toyota is seriously lacking in professionalism as well as customer service skills. Not to mention is owned by what seems to be someone who is out to string along the consumer for his own personal gain.

I have bought around 20 cars during my lifetime, and this has been far and above the best experience I have ever had. Our salesman, Mike and the business manager Nick were friendly, attentive, helpful and always a step ahead of my expectations. If we werent moving to New Hampshire in a month, I wouldnt hesitate to buy another car from these guys....and almost dare say it would be worth the trip back to Danville to give these guys more business.The dealership is conveniently located, easy to drive or wander through and there is a fantastic selection of new and used vehicles of every type, but not overwhelming. There is no junk on this lot. The showroom is clean, well lit and very comfortable with a customer waiting lounge that has TV, free drinks and snacks and an abundance of reading material.When we had to drop our newly purchased Hyundai Santa Fee off for a new set of tires (That they found needing replacement post sale) we were given a similar vehicle to drive on a pre-scheduled trip that day. Since they were closed the next day, we had the use of it at no charge until we were able to pick our car up on Monday.When we bought the Santa Fe, there were no key fobs, but Mike and Nick hooked us up with a set of aftermarket fobs from a local shop. Two days later, Mike found the OEM fobs, called me and gave them to me.Most dealerships will do their best to forget about you after the ink is dry on the contract... Not Danville Toyota. These guys are top notch in my book!Thanks again, Mike and Nick!

The staff was nice, however my air conditioner went out the day after I got the car and I have had problems with it ever since. I have now owned the car for a little over 3 months and have no air conditioning while it is 90+ degrees outside. The fan barely runs at all so I have no defrost either, I tried calling today and got sent to a voicemail, which did me no good whatsoever. Im sure that they will recommend that I take it to their service center which I do not have the money for since I am making the payments on this car, the least I had expected was to have a working air conditioner but I am guessing that I expected too much

My Wife and I purchased a Jeep Renegade from these folks on 9/11/17. There was, and still is, multiple scratches on the vehicles exterior paint. No big deal as our sales person Jennifer Strader promised that she would send us a bottle of touch up paint to accommodate. After at least 10 to 15 calls and/or text messages and 3 months of trying to get the paint, we still have yet to receive the $15 dollar ML of paint? If you love horrible service then defiantly check with Jennifer Strader. She will consistently lie to you or tell you what you want to hear.

Called to schedule service, they were having trouble with their phones. So I couldnt be transferred to service department, left my phone # for someone from service to call back. No one ever called back. I then proceeded to schedule service online. Got my appointment Confirmation printed it out, planned the whole day around it, had my ride. Then I get there and turns out they cant take my car and my appointment confirmation means nothing. Disappointing

I know its my fault that I signed the paper without looking at it after he said he needed to talk to the owner. I know the rate that was on my paper and when I got home it was higher. Just watch your papers if they walk away and stay a while and come back. Check to see if the same rate is on the form. This was so wrong.
