I implore anyone considering giving this company their business to please reconsider and explore the many, many alternatives. I have a 30+ year history of having home theaters installed in my homes. I’ve used big and small companies, different brands, and this was by far the very worst experience I have ever had with any business. It’s 2020. You can order everything that they do online, have it set up correctly and permanently in less than half the time, and never have to worry about things breaking.It is nothing short of a miracle that this place is still in business. You are 100% better off going to a big box store for both purchase and installation. You’ll get better service, save $1,000s, save hours of anger and disappointment, and no one at Best Buy is going to talk down to you in a condescending tone, and make you feel “cheap” for not wanting to spend $500 on a warranty you don’t need, or $4,000 on a TV that is actually used (but sold as new), and is also half the price elsewhere. They sell the warranties so hard because they know they’re selling faulty goods.PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, TRUST ME. ANY POSITIVE REVIEW OF THIS BUSINESS IS FROM A CLOSE FRIEND OF THIS CORRUPT FAMILY. GOOGLE THEM. READ THE REVIEWS FROM FORMER EMPLOYEES ON GLASSDOOR. IT. IS. A. SCAM.They make their money by fixing things that they screwed up in the first place, and selling warranties you shouldn’t need, if the products they sold were actually new. The company is run by entitled children who have never worked for anything, and had their entire lives handed to them by their parents and grandparents.If you enjoy being scammed, sold used goods as new, having those products routinely break, and then paying $200 per visit to have them routinely temporarily “fixed”, then Starpower is the right choice for you!

Everyone one Ive worked with at Starpower has been extremely knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the entire purchase process from the just looking around phase right up through delivery.They were able to give me a real idea of the pros and cons of all the options I was considering without overselling any one product or service.

Ive seen this store for years and finally went in the other day. I wanted to buy a gift for a friend, Justin helped me find just what i was looking for, something modest but very nice quality. My friend really loves her new TV, she put it in her sewing room. I was even able to arrange for the TV to be installed for her and Justin set everything up for her. Im going back to get one for myself!

I would recommend Starpower to anyone that wants a solid top of the line professional quality theater room. Their electronics and installation team are awesome....worth every penny. The best part is that if you have any issues they are overly responsive and make sure by the time its all said and done youre not just happy but REAL HAPPY! I can see why most of their business comes from repeat customers and word of mouth referrals.Shane Mullen

I am so appreciative for all of the assistance I received from Starpower in getting my home theater system selected and installed. My sales representative did a great job and he following through on every step of the process. The installers did the same they were professional, on time, courteous, and thorough. They explained everything and cleaned up very nicely before they left. The entire team at Starpower did a terrific job!

We spent around $4,000 a few years back for a TV, speakers, BluRay and then another $400 for a remote (I was fashionably informed that this was one of the cheaper models...who knew). Suddenly one day my remote gets all messed up. It is attached to the BluRay. The instructions say a monkey could basically program a MX450 so I go online and then it starts talking about programming a Macro. Clearly I am not just cheap, but Im also a monkey. So I call Starpower and get a hold of a guy who says he can help me out. That their tech can do this blindfolded. He says they cant get out for another week, and he will need my credit card upfront. He tells me it will be $150...plus tax. So $160 something which I cant figure out cause Im a cheap monkey. I tell him that the remote was $400 so he is asking me to pay 1/2 of that to get it re-programmed by a blind programmer - remember...they can do it blindfolded.Now, it may just be me - but I would think David & Daniel Pidgeon would offer better service. But no. So here I stubbornly sit with a banana in one hand and a $400 remote from Starpower in the other that wont turn on my Television. With nothing to watch on TV I thought I would just write a Google review. :( Boo Hoo.

Customsound, I am not sure your motivation on this posting, but you have your facts wrong. Starpower was involved with the builder from the very start as we worked directly with them on this room prior to it being built. I was actually in that room when there were no walls and we discussed expanding the theater space. The decision was made to make it a disco. You are correct, that the builder ultimately designed and built the disco room after our discussion. Nowhere does Starpower take credit for the finish out of the room. We do, however, take credit for integrating the room with the AMX touch panel, video switching for all 5 screens, high performance speakers and a/v receiver, the disco ball and smoke machine and the in floor subwoofers (that were installed under the floor on the side walls). The work is something we are proud of and shouldnt be libeled by those with questionable motivation.
