One of my favorite New York style delis in all of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex it’s fresh every time and the service is lovely. The portions are plentiful and the prices are fair. There’s not a shortage of items you can order from burgers to sandwiches, and skillets etc.

Solid old school ny deli. Chicken soup, pastrami sandwich and stuffed cabbage all good. You cant go wrong with an omelette and though I never ordered french toast here, it looks out of this world. Hot coffee is excellent. Service great. Veggies all fresh. Decor could be better but still a super fun and relaxing place for Sunday morning brunch. Good for all ages.

Fantastic food and excellent service! It is a breakfast and lunch diner place where you seat yourself. Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Our server stopped by immediately for our drink order and continued to top off our coffee and water without even asking. I ordered their Italian Omelette with sausage, green peppers, and mushroom topped with cheese and tomato sauce. It was delicious! I would liken it to a pizza but with eggs instead of a crust.I look forward to going back many more times!

Great quality food and great serving staff. Theyre always busy but the serving staff are always fun and they are part of the magic of the place. We love their sandwiches, and we especially love their white fish salad, and blintzes. Definitely makes you feel like youve escaped to New York whenever you step in to this place.

If you’re looking for an authentic New York style deli, look no further. This is my absolute go to spot for breakfast and lunch. The corned beef hash and eggs is the best I’ve ever had as well as the sandwich board to get your deli meat on! Run don’t walk!

I thought it was going to be in a New York deli style restaurant. I soon found out that that was a myth. I ordered a chicken fried steak with fried okra and green beans. The chicken-fried steak was lukewarm and the gravy look like solid dough. The green beans were straight out of the can and were cold and mushy and flavorless.. The only thing halfway decent was the fried okra. In essence, what I had was a Frozen TV dinner for $15. If thats how its done in NY, Im glad I never went to NY. The waitress was very honest and nice. She did admit that it indeed was frozen and did offer to replace the meal with something else.

Food was delicious but beware ordering anything for takeout. I was overcharged $40 and my friend was overcharged $50. We ordered a lot to take home and did not realize the error until we got home. We both called to request a partial refund but we were refused. This could not have been an honest mistake. Very disappointed and upset over how we were treated after we spent money on a sit-down lunch and then each bought over $100 worth of food to take home. Would NOT go back!

I cant forget the pickles they were also perfect not to dill and we ate every one. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

The customer service here is ridiculously good along with the amazing food. Today I came in to get some breakfast and as I was spilling my drink one of the servers came over last at my drink went and grab me a top to put on my drink and handed me a straw. He was in the middle of doing his job and came over to help me and those types of little things do not go unnoticed. Go here!!

I love coming here for breakfast and brunch. The service is great, Leon is pretty friendly. They have a huge selection of dishes. They even have borscht which is pretty unique and on very few menus in the metroplex. The sandwiches are huge! Some of the sides might require salt. Get some bagels and bagel chips to go. Be sure and try some of the yummy pickles!

Review №35

Full disclosure I am an East Coast Jew. With that said I have to put myself into a mindset whenever I walk into any Deli with the words New York in their name. Toss in NY style and I know I am in for a disappointment. Do I compare the Pastrami with Katzs? The kreplach with what my Bubbie use to make? By those standard this place falls far short. However for a Deli in dallas Texas this is not a bad place. The staff was friendly and they make a nice sandwich. Overall well with stopping by.

Great corned beef hash. Service is good 👍 especially if you get Juan (Mr.Mayor)Update.. Sad to say the service last weekend was terrible 😞. Salvador gave me my coffee and came beck for a refill 👍🏻👍🏻. But I sat there for over 25 minutes without any acknowledgement from any of the servers. When one finally came to the table I felt like I was a nuisance. I had to leave. Downgrading to 2 stars. How unfortunate. I had to leave. I hope she gets better. Good news Juan (Mr.Mayor) is back. Up grade to a 4 🌟 soon to be a 5 star 🌟 again i am confident

How have I missed this place and lived so near for years??? The food here is so authentic you just cant stop eating! The menu was extensive and the sides like onion bread and butter, garlic pickles, and apple sauce topped with Greek Yogurt, top notch. I have a to go box! I had egg salad stuffed tomato and coleslaw and my husband had the brisket dinner plate with veggies and potato pancakes. They gave both of us salad too. Everything tasted fresh, handmade and cooked, and delicious! Next, we will return to try the all day breakfast. We eyeballed other peoples plates and nothing looked unappetizing.

Daily News has an interesting variety of eclectic food items. Large portions make up for so-so food prep, and the presentations need some finesse. Everyone of the staff is friendly and service is acceptable.I challenge the staff to begin treating customers food orders as if they were the most important customer theyve ever served.I challenge the cook to get creative, and make 3 different variations on each specialty dish, until the customers and staff agree that one of them stands out above the rest.Rename the dish with a catchy special designation. Be innovative, adaptable, and have fun. Fun is infectious, and spreads to fellow employees, other diners, and will spread by word of mouth to an entire customer base.
