While the sales department could possibly be a 5 star, it is the opposite for the service dept. I currently have my vehicle at their service department and has been there for almost a month. At first, it took them more than once to resolve an issue, so once β€œready” we tested our vehicle and realized it had other issues so we decided to leave it. We were told it would be about a week and a half, I was called last Tuesday with an update and was told my vehicle would be ready that day or by Wednesday. I haven’t heard from anyone since, I have called daily and l I have left several messages and no one has called me back to give me an update. Trust me I will never buy a vehicle from this agency again!! Just because of their Service Dept’s lack of communication. I need my vehicle - this is ridiculous. And no don’t ask me to call a phone number that takes you to the sales dept. You can see my name and you can look me up in your system- call me for once and give me an update on my vehicle.

Had a scheduled appointment for an oil change today and I did not have to wait 2-3 hours like at other Chevy dealerships. Some dealerships have you waiting so long you’d think they’re tearing down your motor to get to the oil filter or something, (consuming your entire day)! Not at Friendly Chevy and Not with Service Advisor Taylor. The Ladies/front office staff is always friendly and easy to deal with as well…You guys rock!! Thanks for being the best part of what keeps my car running like new!

I had a doctors appointment at 4:30 for severe pain in my foot when I walked, and planned to leave at 4pm for my appointment. I had already been working to get a vehicle all week. Another local dealership referred me to Friendly Chevrolet since they did not have the truck in stock I wanted. So I came into Friendly Chevrolet around 2:30pm and worked with one of your employees.1) I found a truck I liked and was willing to put down a deposit to hold it over night so I could go to my appointment. I wanted to come back the next day and negotiate and sign the paperwork. I was told Friendly Chevrolet could not do that. It was first come first serve. So I moved my appointment to later that week and went through the steps to purchase the vehicle.2) There was a sign on the table that said they would offer $1000 over trade in value for a vehicle. I had a vehicle but was told they did not want it at all. If I wanted to buy a new truck, it would have to be a straight purchase.3) A previous local dealership that week had mentioned to me to see if I was eligible for the GM Supplier discount. They showed me the website and I secured the necessary forms for this discount. Unfortunately they ended up selling the truck I wanted. I was still able to take the discount with me to another dealer. The dealer that referred me to Friendly also said they honored the GM supplier discount. Friendly told me they did not honor it.4) Finally after the purchase, I have had to come back a few times. The salesman, finance guy, and sales manager have been super nice to me since that original evening.Although I sincerely appreciate the guys being really nice after the fact, the first impression really set the tone for the entire experience. Sadly, other people I have talked to about this experience have not had many nice things to say about Friendly Chevrolet.

Dropped off my car for routine service on Oct. 17 (check engine light on). Friendly Chevrolet called me on Oct. 23 to say my car was ready. Inside my car at that time: a Chick-fil-A receipt dated Oct. 20, and 3 empty beer cans in a grocery bag. Enough said. Use Friendly Chevrolet at your own risk.

My truck had the check engine light on so I made an appointment and took it in. Upon arrival they told me it would be one week before it would be looked at. Two weeks later they still had not looked at it. My biggest issue with this dealership was the lack of communication in getting timely updates. I called daily just to leave a voicemail including the service manager, John Ballard. I had to go up to the dealership and spoke with the service director (Caleb) and was able to get an update. One month later the truck was finally fixed.

This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. There service department staff has had zero communication and it’s been over a month.I’m a small business owner and a month without my 2500 Hd pickup has made me loose jobs. With no communication from Freindly Chevrolet I have not been able to schedule work and complete jobs in a timely manner.

I arrived at 3:30pm, it took about 20 min to get some service. After an additional hour of sitting in the customer lounge the advisor tells me that they don’t have the tire in stock but that they can order it. Now I’m wondering why it took over 1 hour to tell me that. I decline because I really don’t want to drive out here again. After another 30min of waiting for them to call my name for paperwork I just go and find someone. The person I found was very helpful and helped get me out of there. They did try charging me for an oil change and tire parch. Despite doing none. I’ve learned my lesson and next time I’ll just go to Discount Tires. All of this was beyond unnecessary. 3:30 hours I’ll never get back.

After 4 months I finally got my SUV in for the scratch and dent repair I was promised when I purchased my new vehicle. They had the car for a week, repaired two dents and didn’t fix any scratches! There are scratches everywhere! To many to count. They didn’t even wash it to fully inspect the car. I was hoping I would be able to remove the 1 star review and be fully satisfied with the repairs but I will admit I am still quite disappointed with their shops attention to detail. Sales team is great however.

Sonia NΓ‘jera denied me service and did not help me find a car due to not having enough information but I gave her all my information, I talked to an other salesperson Rashid and thanks to him I was able to find what I wanted, a day before I had to sign for everything I received a call from Sonia trying to help me. We purchased our brand new 2021 Traverse on June 15 but it was in transit. Our Traverse didn’t arrive till June 24. Isaias Reyna was our salesman and he was very attentive. He help us from the beginning to the end. I have to say thank you to George who made our deal even sweeter after we have been waiting so long for our car to arrive. It worked out great for us. Went in for a recall, left with a $250 hole in my wallet with no fix. The recall didnt cover my problem so they had to charge diagnostics, which they never mentioned before I left my car. They said they had to charge me because they had to take parts off the car to check. They lied, not one bolt or nut was taken off. I took my car else where and they SHOWED me how my car was NEVER touched.Crooks and liars they are, crooks and liars.

I called Wednesday morning FROM SOUTH CAROLINA looking for a engine wiring harness. My local Chevy told me they were out and there was a national back order. There is only 3 in the country. I called Friendly Chevy because they were one of the 3 showing β€œin stock”, the PARTS DEPARTMENT were more than helpful. Friendly service and Very Helpful. He placed me on a brief hold to make sure he had the harness and part numbers match. After everything was confirmed he has it shipped out in hours. SUPER PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE. Our entire experience has been beyond unacceptable. At purchase we were told by our sales person, Gabrielle, that all used vehicles were completely inspected and repaired and that we should not have any issues with the truck. Instead, it died and could not be restarted that evening leaving my son stranded. When we went back to the dealership the next day, we were told by her manager Tommy that buying the truck was the same as going to our doctor and being given a clean bill of health and having a heart attack after we left the appointment. Not only is that a completely absurd comparison, it is also wildly inappropriate. After an hour of back and forth they agreed to have the truck fixed. It was returned over a week later the service team had to be asked for documentation of all work/repairs done. Within a week the truck began giving the exact same issues as though no work at all had been done. When we went back this week, Tommy gave my son the exact same heart attack speech which would indicate he does this frequently and knows he is selling low quality, non-functional vehicles. We were also told that the service team would not honor the work that had been done and that no reputable dealership would do that as an industry standard.

Wow Talk about no customer service went to go pick up a truck (truck was in the service area and we were told to pick it up today) that I and my spouse drove over 4 hour to pickup and they would not release it due to multiple changing reasons. Nothing says imprepared then not even being able to keep your alibi straight . This review is really for the service department. My car buying experience here was very smooth and easy and I was looking forward to getting my free oil changes and services done here with the Concierge Plus. If I only dealt with the sales and finance departments, this review would be 5 stars.However, the service department is incredibly frustrating to deal with. I can never get through to the service department without being transferred and placed on hold several times and for several minutes. This is every time I call - to schedule an appointment, to check on the status of my car, for any other question I have to speak to service for. It has happened multiple times that I have to be very pushy with whoever answers the phone when I get rerouted away from service to actually have anyone pick up the phone in that department. I understand service departments of dealerships can get very busy as I have worked in multiple car dealerships before, however I have also waited at the dealership for service to be done and the staff truly dont appear too busy to answer a question on the phone. While the staff here are all very friendly (which is why this review isnt 2 stars), getting service done here is actually kind of a hassle. Today my vehicle took over 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Im actually still waiting on it while writing this review so who knows how much longer it will take.

I had a 11:30 appointment and was not seen until 11:50. An Oil change took 2 hours with an appointment. The young ladies at checkout were not professional and were laughing and talking instead of paying attention to cars being brought up. My car sat for an extra 15 minutes before I walked to the front desk for checkout. I have a fleet vehicle and the young ladies never know how to handle the payment. I come quite often and normally the β€œnow manager” handles my inquiry and no one else appears to know what to do when the payment is for Fleet or company vehicles. I miss my former Fleet representative but proud he is now the manager to help make the place better. 2 hour oil change with an appointment is unacceptable.

We spent 45,000 on a new work truck over 2.5 months ago. They said they license plates would take about 1 month and they would send them to us. Still no plates, called 3 times!!!!!!!! Put on hold so long it hung up on me twice. No one there is helpful and they wouldnt even ask a name or who it was for. This is their sales department too. If you want customer service go some where else. They dont have a clue down there.....***** I was contacted by John today(7/19/21) about the delay and he said he was working on the problem. Good to here from a person. We will see if it gets taken care of************ John did remedy the situation. Maybe in the future the other workers there will care more for a paying customer ********From one 🌟to three stars 🌟.

I got an appointment much sooner than I expected. When Teresa found out that I was waiting there for the car, she got the car right in. The mechanic completed the recall quickly and answered my questions. He showed me how to remove the audible speed warning the previous owner had set at 55 MPH. He also printed out some information about getting the most mileage from the hybrid battery. The dealership, including the service bays, was very clean. The service department opens at 6:30 which let me get in ahead of the traffic. And they give you a free car wash after your repairs are completed. Friendly Chevrolet lived up to their name and reputation

I gave them a 2 star rating prior however am increasing it. I was not happy with a few things and lack of contact.However the GM Johnny contacted me and made it right. A basic diagnostic cost $150+ for EACH individual item you need to get fixed. I needed to get a switch replaced and despite agreeing to a lower cost, I ended up paying close to double in fees from what I was originally quoted ($701 paid for something that was quoted to cost no more than β€œ$421 with tax” according to the agent that was helping me). They may be β€œfriendly” but are definitely liars when it comes to giving you your final price. They will continuously change the rate of fixing your car after you agree to a set price. Terrible service. Would not recommend at all.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I took my car last week to get it serviced. They said it will take 4-5 days to just look into what’s wrong with it… they clearly don’t understand people use this for work and move around. It’s been 6 days and every time I call they keep transferring me everywhere but don’t give me an update or let me know what’s wrong with my car. Janette is very unprofessional and none of them do their job properly. I shouldn’t be transfer around to every department for a simple question. I need my car fixed and they seem to not even bother to take care of it. Every time I ask for Teresa, they say she’s too busy or not working. I’m not getting very Friendly vibes from them.

I will never buy a car from here again. Bought a brand new Tahoe. It had to go to the shop 2 day we had it and then went back again 2 more times before they fixed it. The communication was not there, had to go get a rental car because they did not have any loaners. Which there whole deal is home of the Consier service with loaner cars. Then I went over the papers we signed and we were told we would be paying an extra $1500 for the extended warranty. Not the case it came to about $7800. Yes, we signed off because we assumed he put in there what we just talked about. He also rushed us through the process because it was closing time. Im sorry but when you buy a $70,000 plus vehicle you would expect someone to go a little out of there way. Especially, when the vehicle goes in the second day and is gone for over a month between all the times we brought it in. We also live 1hr from the dealership. We understand nothing is perfect craps happens. However, if there was more communication and a little more effort I would not have to write this review. The extended warranty well half our fault for being trusting and letting him rush us. Just makes for scum bag feeling about there financing department. Mike our sales guy was the only one who really gave a hoot.

Teresa started off by taking every attempt to explain what was wrong with my car and ignoring me. No matter how much I insisted on showing exactly what was wrong I was denied, which led to the tech saying they could not find the issue. After a few phone calls I was able to explain the problem and the tech find them. Then I was informed parts are discontinued and it was not until I asked, did Teresa search for a resolution to a part that is under warranty! In the end I drove 25 miles to have my car sit at the service department for 5 days without anything getting fixed! To top that off one of the perks of buying my car there was the lifetime hand washes for my car that was discontinued.Also, when the tech jumped in my car the VERY FIRST THING he did was disconnect my dashcam!!! I have seen way too many videos of techs and joy rides to know that that was a giant red flag.Seems like my repair and washes my relationship with Friendly Chevrolet has been DISCONTINUED!

Terrible customer service. Bought a 2015 dually here brand new. They said lifetime washes on it. They even gave us paperwork to prove it. Took it there a couple of months ago and their word isn’t worth the paper it is written on. Refused to wash it. Had a service appointment yesterday and my son took the truck in. Something is up with the airbag. The service people said well your truck is driveable so it will be a couple days to a couple of weeks before we can look at it. My son then inquired about a car to drive while it is in the shop. They said no. We will take it to another dealer to be repaired. Will NEVER buy another vehicle from here. Their service used to be good but now I tell everyone I know about the terrible service we have received here. Wish I could give them minus stars!!!!

The sales team was excellent and we were able to get in and get the vehicle that we wanted with very little issues.The only issue we had is that the LPO equipment that was suppose to be with the vehicle has not arrived and it has been 2 weeks now. I am still waiting for the running boards and need them to be installed soon. I do not live close to the dealership so I have asked them to coordinate with my local Dealer James Woods in Decatur and even provided them the Service managers contact information. I spoke with the service manager at James Woods Decatur and he said he would be happy to install them for us.

Service department is highly unprofessional and unreliable.Email with no response or call.Good evening,Please accept this as my third time to reach out with no return call from service advisor or message left from service manager to return call.On 08-31-21, I brought my 2020 Chev 2500 into your dealership for a simple oil change, tire rotation and check up. I scheduled an appointment for 0800 and dropped the vehicle off before this time.Around 1630 I had not heard from the advisor and decided to call as I would be departing soon. No call back, so at 1700 I called several times and was transferred around, eventually asking for the manger, after being told that no one could tell me if my truck was ready other than the advisor. Finally, I spoke with someone and they stated my vehicle was ready, great, so I procedure to the dealership.I arrived and paid for my vehicle, $126.71, for LOF Diesel Eng 10QT. Preform 10Qt/Rotate/MPI. Already being irritated by the wait, lack of customer service (one girl was laughing about loosing someone’s key while another one was saying inappropriate things about a advisor), I wanted to leave. Well the problem was when I arrived home I noticed my tires were not rotated at all. The previous week, I drove over a puddle of wet road paint on my front right tire, causing stain on the tire and inside fender. Well guess what was still on the front tire and fender, you guessed it the paint stain, therefore no way the tires were rotated.I have called on the second and the seventh and have yet to receive a call back. At this point, I question if my oil was even changed and request a review of the tacking of my vehicle while at your dealership. I would like to be provided service times, a review of video surveillance and communication on the outcome. I will also be forwarding my complaint to Chevrolet Tuesday.Thank you for your time in this matter.

I normally do not give reviews but I feel this one is warranted. I have been calling the cancellation department MULTIPLE times to find out when I will be refunded for warranty that I purchased. It has been 3 weeks and I have yet received a return phone call or return email. I sent the request in almost 2 months ago and only want to know when I will be refunded. These people are very unprofessional. When I purchased my car I couldnt get rid of them for harassing me to purchase my Tahoe. Now I cant get a call back since I refinanced my car to a lower interest rate and purchased a cheaper and better warranty and now I cant get them to return my phone calls or emails. This doesnt make since. So FRUSTRATED WITH FRIENDLY AUTO!!!

Due to the scarce inventory, we almost walked out, but David Walker (sales manager) came over and explained the situation to us. He went ahead and ran numbers for us, had our trade-in evaluated, and got us on the right track to purchase the vehicle we wanted. We have been very specific about everything, and he never made us feel as though we were being difficult. He was never pushy, always friendly, and never stopped communicating back and forth to help us acquire what we wanted. The Finance Manager was equally as kind and not pushy, which we appreciated so much. When David wasnt there, we worked with Melina who was also extremely great to work with. Me and my daughter stopped to look at some used trucks and cars. The young man who helped us initially was very nice.. my daughter is 30 and does not have lot of credit yet. The manager came out to appraise her car, he did not greet us or say anything. My daughters 2009 Nissan Altima is old but it hers and paid for. After looking around we were asked to wait until the young salesman went to talk to the manager. 3 feet from us. He looked at us again in the face and told the salesman he was busy and did not have time. Customer service here sucks he did not even try to make us feel wanted. Stay away from this place please.

I was told that it takes 7 days before I could get my transmission looked at (no type of loaner would be offered but it had to be dropped off and stored in order to be held in line...not sure who can go without a car for 7+ days). I dropped it off because I was heading out of town. On day 15, I left multiple messages and had multiple calls dropped when being transferred or just hung up on. My service advisor never called me back. The manager did call me back with a status that it was just now being worked on. I waited almost 8 hours for a call back to say it was completed and still could not get a hold of my advisor or manager.Previously I used this dealer to get oil changes and routine maintenance but after this experience will probably not be coming back. This experience deserves 0 stars but was not an option.

Took my truck in for warranty work was told a week to diagnose. 2 weeks later no diagnosis so I pick it up and take to another dealer theyre test driving and and had a diagnosis within 20 minutes. Other dealer says 3-4 days for repair with ordering parts.

I loved my experience from Friendly Chevrolet, I got exactly what I wanted and at the price I could afford. The best experience I got was the customer service given by my salesperson, Karina MartΓ­nez, she helped me throughout the whole purchase and still to this day continues to answer my questions 4 months after my purchase. There is never a delay to her answers and always does it with a great attitude, even if it is a response via text. It all depends on who you work with, my first purchase, 2017 Traverse,I had a great sales guys and the douchiest finance guy so much I had to request another or I wouldnt be buying with them at all. I had that vehicle for maybe a month before all the problems started and it was in the shop constantly. If you have to get work done please go somewhere else!!! It took months to complete repairs sometimes and my car was always so dirty when I got it back, once I found a half eaten sandwich and ATM receipts and a student pick up sign for a school and teacher that didnt match any of my kids (one of there repair techs had been driving my vehicle)!!! My most recent 2021 equinox, and last purchase with this place the sales girl was just ok and after the purchase was complete I could never reach her to get paperwork or when my plates came in. I have subsequently sold that less than 6 months later and went to Sewell Buick where I got the best service I have ever had as far as car buying goes.
