I have had repeated issues with the doors since finally installed. Can no longer get a return call or follow up. Doors will not open half the time, and have called repeatedly. last response was they would get out and take a look but will have to start charging a service call after this time. They never showed up and will no longer respond to any correspondence. I was very patient during the install even though it helps up all my other contractors from starting their portion of this new construction. I took 5 visits just to complete the initial install and over a month. I just want the products I paid for nothing more.

My warranty company had them come assess my garage door. They sent out an employee, won’t mention names because I’m not trying to punish anyone, just want this to be a learning opportunity and hopefully provide my experience. The assessment determined it was not covered which I expected. After leaving, I discovered another item, the belt, which needed repair. I felt my out of pocket assessment of $75 was not a detailed and a fully comprehensive one. I was initially told that the belt was covered. I also was quoted for installing a new opener on my other door. Altogether I was looking at $700 for the new door and $150 for the install. Higher than other competitors but at the time, I wanted the warranty work for the belt covered. Several days later, I approved the work and was told the total would be $953. I wasn’t sure why it was higher than the initial quote, but I’ll get to that later. Work was completed and upon inspection, I discovered that the new door would not close. I found the safety laser wasn’t clipped on correctly, I fixed that. The new garage opener doorbell and wiring were not tucked away and was not made aware it was an additional fee to make a clean install. I might have approved but the installer stated he didn’t have enough line. You can see the way he routed it could have been done in a way to give him more line. I have since fixed that. Door now functions. The new opener also has a lot of slack in the chain. I have also fixed that. I’m pretty handy if you can’t tell by now. I was very unhappy with my experience and was shocked because of their great reviews. I contacted the warranty company and was made aware no warranty work was submitted and that the belt was denied. Understood. The lack of communication and change in price have left me feeling like I paid more than what was originally quoted and I ended up doing some of the work. If I had known this would be the outcome, I would have done all the work myself. Quality did not seem to be the objective. Lesson learned. I hope this can provide my perspective and help them to improve upon this for the future.Editing in response to owner -The eyes were not checked to ensure they were installed correctly. If they had been, the door would have worked. Simple as that. Attention to detail and quality go a long way. Yes, it was an easy quick fix of which I did not need someone to drive to correct.As far as the statement I made about your company being more expensive, your employee told me that and I verified it by checking with other companies.I think you missed my point about the wiring. If you offer to install something, maybe detailing how that install would be carried out would be beneficial in the end. As shown in the images, the installer chose to go a round about way in his rush to finish. The wiring is wrapped several times and heads in the opposite direction before coming back the direction it traveled.I also left out the fact that the door that you replaced had a handle to shut it with from the inside. I have since purchased and installed a handle which cost me an additional $10 that could have been avoided if the door handle I had was added to the new door. There was just a lack of detail on what the process would be and I hope this helps future customers to understand just what they are paying for.

They came out to fix my opener and told me the rollers needed to be replaced, I agreed to replace them. Now my door is making a loud popping noise each time it opens. Called them back out, they sent the same tech who said that he replaced something that he did not and said the popping noise was because my door was old. No matter how many time I told him it was not popping before he would not do anything to fix it. Reported to my home warranty. I will probably be replacing the door in the near future because of something he did.

Are garage broke on Sunday, trapping in both of our cars. We put a request in through our warranty company who requires we use overhead doors. They told us someone should reach out within 24 hours to schedule the appointment. It is Wednesday now and we have yet to hear from anyone. I have called the main line a total of 15 times since Monday and have not gotten a single response. Do yourself a favor and use another company. This one cannot even answer the phone, let alone help you when you need them.

Garage door spring broke in two places. Called them at 4:00 pm. By 5:15 pm the technician showed up. By 5:45 he was done and in his truck. Work was done by Robin. Very friendly, thorough, and prompt. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

I used them because I have a Homeowners repair contract and this company was on their contract. My garage door OPENER was on the contract. The fellow came (after me waiting several days), never looked at the opener, but told me it was the door itself and changed me $413.00 to repair the door he said was causing the opener not to open or shut. He tested it and it worked, one hour later it did not work . It was the weekend and no one would answer their phone and my car was in the garage and I was unable to raise the door to get it out. I went to Home Depot, purchased an opener, had it installed and it is working perfectly! I have waited a couple of weeks to write this review because I wanted to be sure the problem was the opener and not the stuff they charged me for the $413.00 I paid plus the $75.00 service fee I had to pay to the Homeowners Contract Company. and now for some reason refuses to refund my money for the months left on the policy. I now have changed my policy to American Home Shield and pray this company is not on their contract for garage door maintenance.

My garage door was making a ton of noise, woke up my baby, whose room is adjacent to the garage, that was the last straw for me. I started shopping around for new rollers, after literally 5 quotes that seemed outrageous, I called Overhead Door Pros. Refreshingly, I got the owner, and he set me up for a Technician to come out and install them. By far the best deal in all my research, and the service was fast and phenomenal. This was probably the easiest, smoothest and most pleasing transaction I have ever had with a home service company. I’d give it a 10 if Google would let me. My garage is so quiet I can hear myself breathing (I’m fat, so that’s loud).

Fidel did an excellent job installing a new garage door opener. He was courteous and stayed to complete the job even though it was getting late. The only downside was the additional cost for repair of the door which was required by the warranty company.

Had someone come out to repair a broken door spring. Tried to upsell me and when I wouldnt go for it he said he had lesser springs but with no warranty (used springs Im guessing). Parted ways and called someone else who had it repaired same day at half the price.

Hey these guys were great. Relaxed and professional. Tom came out at hours that suited my schedule. Their system of delivering invoices and such is pretty good. They did all the work required at a good rate. They told me exactly why they did each repair and reprogrammed the automatic door opener to accommodate the necessary adjustments made. It only took them about an hour to complete. My landlord was pleased with the work and so am I. I will be calling them to service my garage doors when I move in to my house. Thank you!

I then sent email and no response. When I reached out to office I was told no one could address the issue until next week-I appreciate that business is booming for Overhead Door Pros, but after a new install and have a problem in less than 4 hours and be told it would not be addressed until the following week is less than acceptable. In the scope of world issues, this is minor, but in my world it is just one more cog that should be quickly resolvable. I do have to admit I am not in anyway knowledgeable in garage door openers, but I am familiar with customerservice. I still stand by my recommending Overhead Door Pros, just very disappointed in their response to this issue.

Terrible experience! Since this guy arrived to my house, he really looked like he didnt want to make the job, but he collected the money first, as I didnt have change he took the money, then he just saw what was wrong, he said he will order the parts and come back to finish. Well, never came back, never gave me my change, and he just didnt do any work. This company is just money collectors, be aware!

Showed up 1 hour after set 3 hour window and were unapologetic. Staff members were rude and unwilling to help funding out why others from theIr company were calling. They charged over 100 dollars more than original quoted price and were in no way worried about my complaint. Worst customer service ive have in a while. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
