Janna is awesome. I have been working with her for a few years now. Our first remodel project, we purchased a large globe chandelier for our entryway and a ceiling light for our daughter’s nursery. She was great helping me choose what I was looking for by taking the time to sit with me and going through multiple books of the various vendors. It was this positive experience, that led me to becoming a repeat customer and asking specifically for Janna. We most recently have purchased another globe chandelier for our family room and over the island kitchen lighting from Lifestyle Lighting. Janna helped me with those purchases as well. Again, she took the time to sit with me and listen to what styles I was looking for. She is very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and always provides excellent customer service.

I have been working with her on a couple of my clients projects and she is always quick at responding and getting me prices and lead times. Being a designer and having a specific time frame for projects, its always nice to know that my products will be available when needed. Select anything from traditional to modern. We were helped by Melvin (he has an awesome accent) and he helped us find a solution for our kitchen pendant lights. Going back for more, new lighting? I want to give a positive review of a recent experience I had at Lightstyles, specifically the salesperson Sandra. When I first walked in, she greeted me with a warm friendly smile and an equally warm and friendly Hello.I had gone to Lightstyles with a good idea of what I wanted. She listened and made a few good suggestions of alternatives I had not considered or even known about. She wasnt pushy at all and that is a good thing because pushy salespeople make me just turn around and leave a store.If you are looking for lighting, be sure to visit Lightstyles and definitely ask for Sandra.

Great costumer service

I went into this place to get some replacement bulbs for one of my lamps and I want to say what a job dropping overwhelming and wonderful experience it is to come into the store. They are all extremely friendly incredibly helpful this is just like the old mom and pop shops only with a big splash of Glamour added. I have seen lighting before but the presentation in this store is really top-notch. You should go even if you just want to see whats been created whats new all different abstract lighting to some of the very simple and very basic lighting we all grew up with theres a new spin on it and I had a great experience this gets a five-star for me on all four corners! Instead of running to the malls or running anywhere else you run to this place first and I can promise you youll be back! I know I will!

Great selection of lights and lighting fixtures. The arrangement of the store is well thought out. Naturally leads you through the types and kinds you may want. Modern, check. Traditional, check. A wonderful lighting store with the latest in LED lighting for energy efficiency. All styles in the store but they specialize in contemporary lighting. They also carry a wide variety of bulbs, switches. And outlets!

We’ve used Lightstyles Lighting for interior and exterior lighting on multiple occasions with two of our homes. We’ve had great service with Janna and Sandra. The product always arrives on time and when we needed to add something quickly (or make a change) they were there to help! Tip: the best parking is in the lot behind the building which is accessible from the side street so you can avoid Newport Blvd.

I have been fortunate to be in design for 18 years. I have had the opportunity to work with multiple showrooms. I am consistently positively overwhelmed with the customer service I receive from LightStyles. And in particular, one of their sales people Janna. I cannot imagine shopping, pulling product, comparing spec sheets and confirming all electrical details against the clients design plans without her!!! Aside from bringing out the best lighting in a clients space, she also knows how to bring the best out of a client with her sweet giggle and vast knowledge of all her products! She knows how to acclimate to the vibe of a project and various personalities across customers. She not only excels within a design project but also directly one-on-one with a homeowner wanting simple lighting advice. I cannot recommend this resource more and I am thankful for your continued support of all my needs!

Very poor customer service, bait and switch, try to oversell, pushy sales people.Owner does not respect his proposal or his deal, asking 10 times for payment, and changed the deal.I am considering a possible lawsuit againstthe owner for all his insults and his business practice which we are discussing with our attorney, So hopefully in the future, he will learn to respect his clients.Plus, I will discuss his poor customer service, insult and business practice with some of his manufacture that he represent, if that is acceptable to them .One more thing for the owner, you are retail business, not a service business .For retail business, people will shop around for best deal, no body walk to electronics or mall to buy everything because the salesperson help himMay be you need to invest in some business classes !

Great place! Im an electrical contractor and normally do a lot of business with the Montclair store. However, when Im in Orange County and go to the Costa Mesa location instead, they are always very nice and helpful! The store has a fantastic selection on display as well!

Denise Morrow helped me pick out lanterns for our remodeled kitchen! She was very patient and took an hour to sit with me and help me go through catalogs and find just what I was looking for. Im getting ready to place another order with her today. I was very happy with everything!!!

Ive been working with Sandra Khorram to help choose lighting for my entire house. She came out and measured every space to ensure we chose the right size ceiling fans and chandeliers for each room and asked a lot of questions to help determine the style and finishes that would work best. She also did a great job staying within the budget I gave her and shes always available via email or phone to assist with my questions. I will continue to work with her and refer her to everyone!

My wife and I have spent the last year shopping for the right solution to light our dining room and a set of stairs. We must have visited at least a half dozen different lighting specialty stores. When we went in to Lightstyles in Costa Mesa we were met by Ed Aguilera, one of the sales associates. Ed was the first person that actually took the time to understand the area we were trying to light and had the patience to keep looking through numerous catalogs until we found exactly what we thought would work. When you purchase lighting it is personal and at the same time an investment in your home. Ed understood that and I cannot express our gratitude for his knowledge and helpfulness. We wanted to have it purchased and installed in a very short time. Lightstyles made it happen for us. Ed arranged for Aaron Electric to come to our home, set up scaffolding to reach our high ceiling and install the lighting all within two and a half weeks so it would be done for our Christmas. Aaron Electric was professional and completed the job in one day. We are very particular about who is in our home and I have to say they were a pleasure in every way. I was especially impressed with the way he insisted that the job was done EXACTLY as we wanted it. At the end of the day we looked at the work and wanted one last adjustment to our previous decision and without complaint Aaron insisted that there is no way he leaves until we are happy. He said the last thing I want to do is leave and have you look at the work and say I wish we had done something different. He didnt just do as we asked. He went above and beyond. The combination of Ed at Lightstyles and Aaron at Aaron Electric left us completely satisfied and we highly recommend them. The sales people at Lightsyles arent on commission so its not like I am hyping him so he can make more money. Im trying to save you all the running around we did trying to solve our lighting dilemma. Just go see Ed and be done with it! And ask for them to use Aaron Electric for the install. You will be glad you did.

Cheers to outstanding service! I contacted Irwin and Mark at Lightbulbs etc. that my Halogen Torchiere was not lighting up one of the three bulbs. Irwin replied to my email right away asking me to send a picture of the socket and asked me to stop by with the lamp that I got 10 years ago from them.Mark and Irwin greeted me with a smile. Mark ran in the workshop and got a tool and adjusted the spring in the socket and said - Here you go! No socket needed! No charge! Awesome service!Thanks a lot Irwin and Mark! Happy Holidays!

This place has every bulb and light you can imagine, albeit a bit overpriced. On one side they have a gallery with rooms of a house outfitted with examples of lighting. Those will give you ideas on what lights you can have in the same rooms of your house. Worth visiting!

I spent about a week driving around Orange County, trying to find out what was wrong with a lamp that I bought as a gift for a friend. I called the store and went down within an hour and the problem was fixed. I was so incredibly happy that they provided stellar service and were very nice people. Also, I was just buying a lightbulb and it was pretty cheap so I think that the other reviewers bought an expensive lamp or chandelier.

Totally blew my mind such fantastic artwork in light I plan to bring a few of my friends there just for the weekend are at such a fantastic experience do not bring children
