Horrible company!!!! ADT and Home Defenders are terrible. They have great customer service on day one when they con you out of your money. Once you pay your first bill it’s all down hill from there. Misinformation from every single customer service rep from both companies. Home Defender employees are rude and don’t know left from right. You will NEVER speak with a supervisor. The $100 gift card they promise is to pull you in, they don’t tell you that it will take a month to get it and that you have to pay $5 to get your $100 gift card. I cancelled service after 3 days because that’s how quickly I realized what a hot mess they are. If they can’t even handle simple customer service, how will they keep your home safe? I’ve been waiting 33 days for my refund from cancellation. First they told me my refund would take 7-10 business days. Then they said 14 business days. They it was 30 calendar days. Last night they said 30 business days. Nobody knows anything or they all cover each other’s butts with lies. I had no idea that when I signed up from the Protect Your Home promotion with ADT, that I would NOT have protection with ADT, I would be dealing with the idiots at Home Defenders. When you call ADT, it routes you to Home Defenders. It’s trickery. You never know who you’re going to talk to. I had to get two refunds, one for my protection plan that is purchased through ADT (which I finally received last week) and once from Home Defenders for installation which I may never receive.

Our installation was set up quickly and office staff was very helpful. The young man who came out and installed our system was pleasant and well informed. He went out of his way to explain all our options and teach us how to use our new equipment. We feel more secure with our ADT system.

Horrible company, In appropriate sales tactics. Told me my monthly Bill would be 27+ tax. Upon installation it came out to 52+ tax. When the system was installed, the technician only supplied 2 door sensors when i have 3 doors. I informed him multiple times that i had 3 doors. Took him 2 hours to install a panel on the wall that already had power access and lines. Installed unnecessary equipment. Also did not know what i had originally requested. It was a complete mess. I Decided to cancel services with this company and have yet to get a official response. I have Emailed ADT and Home Defenders. Home Defenders has yet to respond. I also called and spoke to a manager which offered 300$ in gift cards if i stayed. To me this all seems VERY scandalous. The contract stays they bill 80% of the 36 month period if its canceled late. However Ive tried multiple times, Via Fax, Email, and phone to notify them. Ive keep all documentation and Call recordings, I may have to take this company to court, Seeing that its a issue other people are experiencing by reading the reviews. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED.

First off the technician that came to the house was wonderful! Went above and beyond our expectations of what we wanted/needed to protect our home/family. Very satisfied with the service itself and our equipment! Technician was very informative on how to use the system the easiest way possible and made sure that we understood fully and for the future directed us to the booklet.

The tech that came out was very knowledgeable about the product and went through with me step by step on what he thought I needed but didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. He also went step by step with me about how the system works and how I need to operate the system. Cudos to my tech!

The tech Mark was more than excellent his trainee was also very nice. Mark took a lot of time to make sure that I understood how the system worked and helped me and my husband put the information on our phones. He also tested the system and out of 19 sensors that the original owner left, 10 were defective and so he explained we could go with a new system for around $9000. Or he could replace the 10 ones and the cost would be around $3000. Since we just bought the house and spent a lot of money already we went with the least costly. The system was installed originally in 12/04/14. The owner said that the system was to new to have so many defective and felt they should be replaced for free. The cost was $1490 for 10 sensors. The owner later texted me and he had called Adt and said I was to call on Monday the 6th and asked for an account manager and they would give me a credit for the $1490. I called and spoke with acct manager Jesus and he said he would give me a credit of $796. He said the system was already old. I thanked him and said I was glad to get some credit. He was very helpful. Also with the new system I would of received a 10% discount for military but not the old equipment. I think seniors should get a discount on everything. Not all seniors have money but we also need more protection since were easy targets. Thank everyone for us.

Never call this company if you are looking for outdoor cameras worked for them for 5 years this company is built on lies they will tell you its 2799 a month and all your cameras are free its not they sell indoor wireless cameras theres a $299 activation and $229 a camera and 58.99 a month
