Hats off to whoever the manager is. This manager needs to set the standard for all other Goodwill Stores. The time and attention to detail is unmatched. The cleanliness and organization blew me away. This manager understands that if the store is a mess and you have to organize while you shop it’s easy to give up. I shopped just before closing in the cd/dvd//books section. The titles were grouped together without all the usual dust and dirt that you have to sort through. Needless to say this manager is something else. She goes above snd beyond!!!!! Normally when I touch things my hands are covered in dust ...NOT IN THIS STORE!!! Just the fact that someone took the time to wipe things off made such a difference. I spent way more than my $40 amount I usually spend because I was able to gather items and look through them with ease!!!In the past month I’ve been to many Goodwill Stores in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I have to say the organization in this store is rising to the level of the the Goodwill in Santa Monica and Los Angeles (which the cleanliness and organization look like a department store!) I’ll be back !!!!
Nice quality clothes at a reasonable price,but disappointed about one thing…..I bought my clothes without trying them on since I was with babies who needed attention,then I got home and noticed that the dresses were too small,they didn’t fit. Thinking ohhh well I’m going to return them and get something else then I looked for my receipt only to find that they do not accept returns 🙌🏼. I would advise you to write posters that say no returns(big ones so that we know before purchasing…
10/ 9/ 20, After a season closet clean out! Plus storage clean out, I had 4 large bag of donations. 2nd Ave was the closest from the Bronx. I delivered 4 bags walked out with $125. Of 👗 and 1 pr of shoes. Need I say more!! Nice stuff name brand .dress were $ 13 and pr of Kendall& kylie, clear heel $ 9. This was the best ever!!

I am disappointed to have to write this review as I have only had positive experiences with Goodwill until visiting this location. Today, for the second time in the past 5 months, I was turned away from the 121st/3rd Avenue location with donations in hand.After renting a car to get my clothing items to the store, I was told that no more items could be accepted. While trying to understand why my donations could not be received, I was treated in a manner that seemed inconsistent with Goodwill’s mission and instructed to leave my donations on the sidewalk.As someone who genuinely wanted to support the community with my donations, I am increasingly discontent with the outcomes I have with this Goodwill location. Here’s to hoping that my items, many in pristine condition, eventually find a home with someone in need.

Staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I came with the intentions of doing a charitable act and donating my new clothing with tags to those in need and was met with aggressive attitudes and was turned away very hostilely. I will be donating to One More Cloth from now on because not only are they extremely polite and professional, they come directly to you and pick up the clothes.
A lacking selection for mens clothes. I came looking for a hoodie, I found none. Not even one in another size.
I buy most of my clothes here. Always a fresh selection and you cant beat the prices.

One of my favorite goodwills. I always find great buys and the staff is pretty nice. Also props to whoever does the window displays. Security is so annoying though, not lowkey at all. Followed me for a bit the last time I shopped here, if it happens again Ill have to find another good will.

Great staff. Needed something quick to wear to work at the last moment. Went over here, found a decent blazer and sweater.Unfortunately the downstairs was being renovated when I visited, so I couldnt look at the house stuff like I wanted, but I got a decent coat just looking around. 🤷🏿♂️

Please be careful and aware if you buy any merchandise there are no refund or exchange all hope I have bought a coat for a friend pocket was broken I asked for a exchange of merchandise after paying $20 and I was denied I lost the coat they would not exchange it for another one nor a discount and ended up buying him a new coat for $30 and a $20 lost GOODWILL STORES PLEASE DONT ROB US FOR THE LITTLE BIT THAT WE HAVE ESPECIALLY WHEN I DONATE CLOTHES AND ARTICLE MYSELF BAD BUSINESS BE AWARE !!!!😭😞

This used to be my go to store for shopping, always had great finds and prices, but now the prices went up but the quality of the clothes went down. They dont even bother to check the quality of the clothes being donated anymore. I feel like if Im paying two or three dollars more per item, the quality control on them should be better. But its not, super disappointing. Ill give it some time and check back in, hopefully therell be change for the better this time.

Store hour says it closes at 7pm but they turned me away at 5:20pm saying the hours for donation drop off are different. I called other goodwill locations and they all accept donations until 7pm. This location is the only location that does not accept donations after 5pm. Also, they won’t pick up the phone if you choose the donation option. I understand going through the donations is a hassle and time consuming, but the store hours should be updated accordingly... No wonder why the selection here is so bad compared to other locations in downtown.

I came into make a donation. The person who l gather was security was standing outside the store near the curb. As soon as l entered suddenly he was in the store and as l exit he pretended to look down at his phone. (I just looked at him and chuckled!!) I want NOTHING OUT OF YOUR STORE!!!!!

Its great to be able to buy designer clothing when you have a limited budget. In my most recent visit, I got some Levi jeans and Banana Republic chinos for $4.50 each. You may have to spend time looking for what you want or need, but it is usually worth it. All clothing items tags with a color. Depending on the day, certain colored tags are 50% off.
This store didnt have much. It was also very expensive for a second hand store. Suits were $29, blazers $14! Wont be going back.

I was appauled on how i saw a cashier treat a customer who could not express herself. Also, very expensive, most likely because it is NYC. But if you go to either upstate NY or Long Island thrift stores that are literally a train or bus ride. You will find good quality items for half the price or less. And then u can donate what ever u saved to a worthy cause.
The store has a lot of good stuff but the store has a funny smell. Some staff are rude. Management needs to teach them some people skills
Horrible service. After my 8 year old autistic son took his time finding books he couldnt have them because we were a few days late for the 10 for $1 book sale. And i just donated a very large bag of very good clothes. I will never donate to this location again.
Good store where you can buy second hand product cheap. You can also give to company your goods but they dont do a pickup. You have to bring to the store whatever you want give them.
Awesome, I always find good clothing, shoes, handbags... it is really big so you gotta dig in but if you have the time, youll definitely find nice stuff.
Best Goodwill store I have been to. Three floors of everything from clothes and shoes to videos to toys to dishes and appliances. For a while the escalator was out of service but it is working again. This location puts the ones downtown to shame in its variety and selection of merchandise.My only caution is that a lot of crazy stuff goes on outside around there. I visited yesterday and there was a street fight going on not even 12 feet from the door!
What you see is what you get. You can find great deals its all about looking. The floor and racks are clean and well organized. No bathrooms or parking structure. Patking can be difficult to find in the area. But, great deals for affordable prices.
Rude. Rude and Rude. First of all when my husband and I walked though the door we were greeted: sir please bring your bag to the counter. What about; How are you doing? Sir please bring you bag to the counter. Your store is to expensive to be in a poor neighborhood. OH My, security is one of the rudest Ive seen in my life. Well one customer passed by a pair of pants hanging over the clothes rack and the Security man yelled at the man throw his hand up and making a horrible face a walk over to grab the pants. Please people be nice to your paying customers!
Super good shop, great place for find some cool clothes, you can get there by subway 6 and m103 bus. But just like other thrift shops in NYC, its price is not very low.
I have been a shopper of Goodwill for a few years now, but the experience I had at this particular location is unbelievable to say the least. I had gotten of work last week and decided to go to the 3rd Avenue location in East Harlem to look for a decent luggage bag. Now Goodwill have a policy where you must check in your bag and so I did. Unfortunately the card that I was given had fallen out. I noticed it 3 minutes after entering and I hurried back up front thinking that the guy who checked me in would assist me. I was dead wrong, not only had the guy left my bag was stolen.Fortunately there was nothing important in that bag, and I knew was partly at fault. Still I wanted to report it and see what can be done since I knew that this location had cameras and I had a feeling that whoever took it may come back. An employee there called fir someone to come from downstairs to assist me, or so I thought. Someone did came up, but the man who did just started telling me that this was on me and that they are not at fault. I got so heated at this man that I had to tell him off. I told him I know that I am partly at fault but I reminded him that he came to see what can be done, and I told him about the cameras. He quickly stated that he cant access them. So he took down my information and said that he would contact me, which I know he will mostly not.The level of professionalism is low and being a customer at this location for sometime and to get treated like this was unacceptable. They even knew that I am a regular customer there. Well not anymore, from now on I will go to another location. Since I heard from an employee there that this had occurred five times this month I wanted to give a word of caution to potential shoppers.
It is what it is, used donation items for sale. You cant expect too much but its a good browse for flea market lovers. Things change pretty often its almost like treasure hunting to find items that are way worth it
I really enjoy looking at stuff that reminds me when i was a kid one more thing the workers need to bring the price down a little its donated come on.

Dont sleep on Goowill. They do have good merchandise at affordable prices that are of Great use. Especially for those of us w/limit or fixed incomes.

The items here are useful and well priced. i usually only go there for office file cabinets but in browsing i have seen things that are in great condition that could be useful.

Spacious shopping floors, color coordinated clothing, well organized merchandise, great book selections and depending on which color days you decide to shop, can mean deeper discounts!
It was a great place to get almost anything you need. Clothes, toys, games, you can get it there.
Overpriced for used goods and anything worth purchasing is in the outside glass display where because of all the junkies and abundance of crime is not a safe area to be in for too long. Good luck not getting mugged while browsing the display.
A fairly standard Goodwill with a great selection. Only downside is that clothing sizes are not marked on the racks.
