The studio is one of the most fun places you can imagine. The instructors are very skilled, attentive, patient, and entertaining. The students are friendly and socialize with each other and the studio often hosts parties / other events and encourages you to participate in competitions. If you decide to take lessons here, they will end up becoming the highlight of your day!

I joined the Fred Astaire Coral Gables studio 8 years ago. Vera and Vladimir Kosarev, owners of the studio, are not just terrrific dancers but knowledgeable and skilled teachers and coaches that lead an excellent team of instructors. They offer group and individual lessons for all ages, host monthly parties allowing students to practice in a social setting and for those who are interested in taking their dancing further, there is the opportunity to participate in ballroomCompetitions. Dancing is not just life endeavor but also great exercise.

Amazing place with amazing atmosphere! Love coming here to dance and get fit and relax! I had never danced before coming to the studio and now I cant live with out it! Its been my studio for 8 years and it has been an amazing impact on my quality of life!

Their team is both professional and a joy to be around. They spend a great deal of effort to get to know you and it pays off with tailored lessons that are just as much fun as they are challenging. Fred Astaire Coral Gables is amazing!! My husband and I wanted to do something fun (and surprise our entire guest list) for our first dance, so we reached out. I went in with big dreams and two left feet, but they managed to teach me to dance! We picked a song that was super meaningful for us and the Fred Astaire teachers prepared a beautiful and complicated dance routine. To be honest, I was worried at the beginning; they incorporated multiple styles of dance and there were jumps and lifts, and I could barely handle the “cha-cha slide.” Our instructor, Jason, moved at our pace and forced us out of comfort zones. The studio (lovingly) pushes each couple to perform for large groups of fellow students and the instructors to get us used to performing in front of people, and I definitely learned that this was necessary. My husband and I performed twice in front of the large group, and each time, we felt more comfortable! After 11 classes, we gracefully learned how to do everything, and every one in the studio was impressed with our routine. We performed it at our wedding and everyone was amazed! We love Fred Astaire Coral Gables; they truly made us feel like family (even surprising my husband for his birthday) and we will be coming back to learn more!

This is an amazing dance studio. Ive been dancing and competing for many years and this is by far the best dancing environment Ive been part of. If you want top notch instructors, who are in their prime, still competing themselves you should give it a try. You will be part of the coolest group of people and will have many opportunities to perform, from studio showcases to national competitions depending on what you are wiling to do. I love it!

Ive been ballroom dancing on and off for over two years now and this is the third studio that I have tried. I started in Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Coral Gables ten months ago and has been the best of all three by far.The quality of the teaching, the physical facilities (great dance floor) and general atmosphere have made a difference. I have improved my level of dancing in a very short period of time, starting going to Pro-am competitions recently with very good results.Whether you want to learn social dancing or start competing pro-am, this is the place to be.

Ive always loved to dance and thought that it would be cool to learn ballroom. I was intimidated at first, but the staff at Fred Astaire made me feel comfortable and worked with me to not only learn how to dance, but build my confidence on the dance floor. So much so, that its been 2 years since I first started there and I have gone on to compete at various Pro-Am competitions. Whether you are looking to learn a dance for a special occasion or social event, or are looking for a fun and exciting new hobby, I highly recommend this studio. The level of instruction is superior and the owners, Vera & Vladimir Kosarev are young and enthusiastic World Masters Ballroom Champions. Try it out. You wont be disappointed.

Not only you can find a beautiful new studio conveniently located at coral Gables, but also top of the charts teachers and the nicest of all! (seriously, they are super nice) Ballroom its making me the happiest, you should give it a try! I recommend this studio 100% :)
