I love going to Joanns. I mostly buy yarn. They have a huge selection of the name brands. I have noticed that what Joanns does not carry, the other big competitor does. They also will have good sales on their yarn.

The cashier was SUPER sweet and conversation was genuine but also quick as she had a line of customers. Great service. Wish I remembered her name, but Joann people if you are reading she was maybe highschool or college and it was Tuesday November 2nd at 5:20pm. She had long straight hair.

This used to be a terrific fabric store. Now, it looks like the selection is reduced. Store was gloomy. Maybe someone looking for crafts will have a different experience. We went for upholstery fabric. Not much there, like they used to. Actually, the associate there recommended a different store.

A lot of empty shelves but I think they were cleared to stock up on holiday items. To be fair I will go back again and see what I think. Staff was helpful

Nice store with friendly staff. Not as much variety of fabrics as SR Harris Fabric but they have a good selection of crafting supplies. Nice coupon deals and savings with the app. The decor is very expensive so the sale prices are still high on many items.

Store is laid out well. Cutting time for fabric was quick with low wait time. Employees were helpful. I needed to have an employee check stock on a fabric. I had no trouble finding an employee. Id go here again

They did not have a lot of things in the store at all and it looked like it was moldy and old on the inside of the store. It needs some work on the inside and get more things in and you will have more people in your store.

The restrooms sinks need a good cleaning and the floors in that area need to be cleaned. Otherwise very Happy with the rest of the store and workers.

They open more cash registers when it is busy and the staff is very nice. Clean store and great variety on fabric. Love it ❤

This is the largest Joanns store Ive ever seen...Warehouse sized. Friendly employees, HUGE selection of everything you could ever want for your arts and crafts needs.

I only go to Joanns as a last resort. Prices are really high and the service is amazingly slow even if they arent very busy. Expect to wait in line to get fabric cut a good 10-20 minutes and then wait at the registers another 10-20 minutes.

They are very pricey, especially on fabrics. They may have a wide variety of styles, textures, and colors but you will definitely spend a lot of money per yard. If youre just looking to pick up small things for sewing or crafting then its an okay place to shop. But I was shocked on the high prices for their fabrics.

Love this store! The fabric cutters are always so pleasant and informative! Next purchase just might be a cricut maker! It can cut your material for you!

Alot of workers walking around the store stocking shelves etc.., once you get to the cash registers, usually theres only the return counter open and you have to wait to check out with a line of people.

Some shelves seem bare and you gotta plan to go during fabric sales otherwise its min $6 a yard. No matter, great, clean friendly place Ill return to many times.

Weekly ads (which are run online for a month) are confusing with running items listed for various dates w/in month. Frustrating to go there for sale to find out its on sale til following week or was previously. Good go to store for basics but for fabric, apparel fabric is slim. If u arent looking for fleece or quilting fabric, the options are very limited

Had an issue with pricing at the register and even though there was clearly a sign marking the sale, the manager wouldnt adjust the price.Very poor customer service.

Got double charged for my online order. Not the exact amount but I only had one online order and I was not in the store on that day. Not sure how that happens but they couldnt credit me and said I have to wait for them to research it. Not sure my $17 order was worth all of this trouble.

I do overall like this place. For the most part. I think its a little messy/unorganized, and definitely way over priced. Michaels sells exact product at almost half, if not more, the price that they do and Michaels carries farrrrrr more then JOANN ever has. Michaels has a much larger selection of product and variations and almost always well stocked. JOANN however is over priced, no selection, and anytime I go in for something chances are they are out or dont carry it at all. Disappointing to say the least. Employees are pretty nice and are helpful. I havent had any problems that way and most are pretty knowledgeable if you have a question. I would only say that they need to expand, add more product, more choices and organize and clean up their stores a bit better. Whenever I walk into a JO-ANNS store anywhere I always feel as though their entry points are messy and disorganized giving the customer and immediate feeling of disarray and messiness. Maybe its just me but Ive always liked a neat and well organized store and especially at entry because 9 times out of 10 that right there is going to set my mood for that trip.

I normally love this store. Today was not one of those days. Tons of people, long lines, no social distancing, and not everyone wore a mask. Too busy cause of their black Friday sale, Noone was around to help. Everyone was overwhelmingly busy, not the fault of the employees, but rather the corporate people, who seem to have forgotten that we are still in the pandemic

10/10 for customer service. They always go above and beyond both in store and curbside!

Manager by the name of Ashley was rude and unprofessional. Telling me she cant stop me from using coupons twice but I will have to walk out and walk back in in order to use the coupon again. Long story short. Complaints filed to corporate.

I love the variety of fabrics they carry. I can always find what I need. Its a smart layout and things are easy to find. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Its also conveniently located in Riverdale mall where theres ample free parking. I highly recommend them for all your sewing needs. P.S. They also have a lot of crafting supplies, etc. too!

Renee was so helpful. Help w start up ideas must haves. I have never quilted before and my grandma passed and i wanted to make throw quilt of her pjs and clothes. Renee explained so much i was feeling better about doing my first quilt.

Bigger Joanns than most, has lots of product options.

I placed an online order this morning at 9:46 am. All items were in stock, 1 was low stock. Joann did not pull the order until 5:30 pm and by then all but 1 items were gone. I called the store twice, the first time they told me 6 hours and the second time they said to wait up to 2 days for them to pull the order. There is no reason why the store should not have been staffed enough to pull orders. Other stores like Target and Best Buy can pull items promptly.

My Mom and I visited this store. The employees we interacted with were happy, friendly, and knowledgeable. They knew right where things were located in the store and were very helpful. The stores appearance was neat and clean and the shelves were well stocked. Also, in addition to the things Mom and I came in looking for, we also found some good deals on other items were interested in. So we had a great time.

Love when its 50% certain fabrics. I love going in the evening. The store is quiet and the staff are super chill and helpful. Its a great place to get all the crafting ideas.

Terrible customer service. Had a picture framed. Paid in full when I dropped it off. Was given a receipt telling me the exact date it would be ready to be picked up. Not ready. Was told that they have no control over when things get done or what customers are told. WHAT?? Quality businesses do have control over those things. Never shopping here again.

I found buttons for a dress Im making. The selection was pretty good. There was a fairly long wait for check out as they only had to the customer service register open.

Went in looking for supplies to make a longer strap for my Yeti Bottle carrier and nobody was on the floor that was able to help me find the strap material or associated hardware, asked someone at register and was told no they have nobody that can help customers.

Store seem to be extremely picked over, had extremely minimal decorations for the upcoming holiday. No one greeted us at any point or asked if we were doing okay. I have found many good deals there but today was just a lackluster visit with a store full of employees who clearly werent excited to be at work. My four stars are an average rating based on tonights visit and many other good visits.

This my first time going into a Joann fabric store. I can say Id rather spend my money at Michaels. I was not greeted once by any of the associates that I had come across or asked if I needed assistance. I looked, searched, and had to find things on my own. Only to be overwhelmed and exhausted by the experience. After searching, I decided it was time to leave and go to Michaels instead. Walking out, both cashiers just stared at me while I was leaving. I guess. No such thing a customer service at Joanns apparently. Not worth my time and money.

Longest line for checkout, halfway to the back of the store. Id guess at least 25 or more people and only 2 cashiers! I set my stuff down and left

The manager here, whom I believe is named David, is the reason I no longer shop at this store.I have even overheard him berating the employees when he didnt think any customers were around.If you ask him for help or any question at all he will treat you with a disgusting, condescending attitude.This has been an ongoing experience with him. Ive been coming to this store for years and have had nothing but poor interactions with him time and time again.I would rather go to the Maple Grove location just to avoid having to deal with him. He makes what could be a really great store a pretty lousy one.Giving two stars because when he isnt there the store is pleasant and all the employees are pretty nice.

Easy to find location with lot of free parking. The store is clean, bright and well organized. Several store associates were available to answer questions about discounts, sewing notations, paint and specials. My next sewing project is a quilt out of Crown Royal bags and they have several gold and purple fabrics to select from.

Do not trust their curbside pickup. They will keep holding your money weeks after you canceled your order because they could not fill it. This refund issue has been a recurring problem at this location. Corporate should shut them down or bring in a competent team

I found what I needed. Good prices too. They might be in seasonal transition but so many shelves were empty. Great place for whatever craft or creative inspiration strikes your fancy. SO not just fabric!

My daughter and I were the on Saturday July 6th. The staff in and around the fabric cutting table were very helpful and friendly. However, the young gentleman who was cashiering for us was OUTSTANDING!!! I wish I got his name! He loves to quilt and has a fantastic sense of humor, my daughter and I almost went back in to ask him if he wanted to quilt with us!! Such a blast! He was super helpful and tremendous product knowledge!! THANK YOU!!!
