The store was very clean and organized. The prices seemed somewhat high, in my opinion, though. There were many used things that I have found new at Home Depot for the same price. However, I did scoop up several things that were marked at an excellent, low price. The employees werent very friendly or willing to assist us either. Maybe today just wasnt our lucky day. 😁

Love this place! The employees are super nice with great senses of humor. They remember repeat customers and greet everyone as they come in the door.I have found amazing deals here, but there are occasionally some high quality items that are pricey. I furnished most of my kitchen remodel with appliances purchased here, and have bought numerous pieces of furniture as well as light fixtures. Highly recommend it.

My second visit into this store and the prices seem to be getting higher and higher! I have been to MANY habitat stores all across the country and I’ve never seen prices so high. It’s disappointing. (e.g. old armoires for $200 and $300, sander put together shelves new $150, their price used $145 doesn’t make sense). I think you need to get someone who knows how to price things, these items were donated were they not? Fair pricing then for resale. Overheard several people in the store who were saying the same thing and leaving the store without purchasing anything. Sad.

This place is a joke run by someone with a terrible business model. Over priced everything. Used windows, moldy and scratched for $200, dirty old Kirby vacuum for $200, a harbor freight chain hoist for $200 thats $40 brand new, 50 ft extension cord for $17, or $11 at home depot. Dont waste your time. I confronted the lady at the desk about the hoist, she checked online and said they could do $50 on it... What a shame, a greedy company receiving free handouts to help others, except they jack up the price and rip people off.

My blind son was in the store trying to find some small object. He asked the lady working for assistance. She just pointed to the area, which he was in, and told him to find it. One of the guys, working the unloading area, followed him throughout the store as if he were there to steal something. Once he did manage to find his items and opened his wallet to pay, they were overly polite to see he had more than enough money to take care of his bill. I called the store to complain but the same woman he said was so rude was the one in which I spoke with. She was very hateful and told me my son lied about his experience. I will gladly pay over price at a hardware store than to ever step foot in this place. Ridiculous

Great selection. Everyone I interacted with was very helpful. As with any resale shop, some items were priced a little on the high side, but I found great deals on the things I was shopping for. They test major appliance before putting them on the floor, and have a fair policy for lighting; if it does not work, return within 7 days for a store credit or exchange. Plus, its for a great cause.

Ive always found the folks here friendly and helpful - 5 stars in that. But .... this is no bargain center. Yes, if you poke around you can sometimes find a good price on something but in general most items are overpriced, especially furniture, building products, doors/windows and appliances. This is used stuff with almost new pricing.I think their sales would double if they revised their sales pricing model, plus turnover would increase.

The owner of this store Millard Fuller, is running this store as a high priced store, noting to do with humanity. Every thing is donated, but priced higher than building material stores. Being a senior citizen living on limited income, thaught that this would be the place to find a new front door, that I can afford, was I WRONG. Store needs to change name, as the name Habitat for Humanity is misleading.

This is Oct 2019. Last year this store was GREAT. But many changes have been made and now it is almost not worth going. Im not sure what happened but I asked one of the workers there and they said the other way was too hard.As a result this location is going like most others I have been to. Mostly just overpriced junk. There is the occasional gem. But as time goes on it seems more and more like my grandparents garage. As in growing mounds of junk.It is sad because last year this was a top notch place to go and get good quality stuff at reasonable prices.

I would not recommend shopping here!! I was looking for some hardware for minor upgrades in our home. I didnt even make it 2 steps inside the door when a lady RAN around these plastic barriers to tell me β€œyou need to leave. There’s no children allowed in our store.” When I asked β€œwhy?” She said β€œit’s our new policy”. Mind you, I had a mask on, sanitized before walking in.. WITH THEIR SANITIZER AND PUT IT ON MY DAUGHTERS HANDS.I’m a stay at home mom, my fiancΓ© works Monday-Saturday, if I’m not mistaken they are closed Sundays and Mondays.. so how is someone (like me or a single mom) supposed to shop? I guess we aren’t. They lost business. Lots of it too. But as I’m reading some of these reviews, I see the customer service isn’t up to par and they price gouge anyway.I also need a donation pick up service and guess who I wont be calling? If you don’t let children in the store, how do you expect to come to someone’s house to pick up gently used furniture and hardware? That just doesn’t make sense. So I took my 2 year old somewhere else and got everything I needed. I was actually upset and hurt by this β€œnew policy” as I have never been told by ANY store that my child is not welcome.Good luck to this business in the future.

I came in here because I used to go into the location near 1960, we moved and I am one of the renovation addicts and it is a great place for inexpensive supplies. This location is not worth your time. They do require masks which is whatever but they spray your hands when you walk in which I do not like. I carry sanitizer and do not appreciate them forcefully spraying your hands. The store itself is okay. The selection is severely lacking. What they did have was massively overpriced. Visited the new ReStore on April 30, 2016. The new facility is very nice, and cool! (as in air conditioned). All the merchandise is nicely displayed and easy to find. All items are never-used, or gently-used. The store offers items for kitchen, dining room, furniture for any room, home repair items, and home upgrade items, such as new doors, windows, even air conditioning units. This new facility definitely makes the ReStore shopping experience very enjoyable. Oh yes, and the parking lot is a HUGE improvement over the original location.

While the warehouse manager was so nice and tried to get us a deal on some military bunk beds that have been forgotten about and just sitting there for awhile(as stated by him) he told us to try to talk to Misty to see if they could offer a little more of a deal than the hundred dollars they were asking and to tell her our situation. She didnt even give us the chance just cutting me off saying thats the price she cant change it. Im staying with my mother in law in a one bedroom house sleeping on the floor with my two children. Im disabled with no income and can provide proof and just wanted to get my kids off the floor. I didnt want anything for free but honestly this stuff is given(donated) if a person in the community needs something you could at least work with them.

Wont help with prices for low income. Warehouse supervisor was very nice and showed empathy but Misty at the register could care less what your issue was that you needed help. They will not work on prices even if in need. I believe in their mission to help others but dont expect to get help on a walk in basis or price cuts if in need although things are donated. I wouldnt expect negotiation on prices for something that was not necessary but on dirty mattresses and military bunks that I didnt care that I would have to clean for my kids just to be able to have some type of bed rather than blankets on the floor? I am disabled and in appeals for disability so have no income. My childrens father does support us but a family of four on one income everyone knows you will not have much funds. Worst part was I can handle a no but cant handle the rudeness that came with it. I was not even allowed to explain my situation just a pure outthats the price and I can change itwhen I was cut off. A simple Im sorry but I cant alter the price would have been fine.

Just a bad environment all-together. When we were leaving I asked my friend, Did that seem like any other ReStore youve been too? And she said No. I just wanted to get out after a few minutes of being there because it was so negative.Ive been to over 7 different Habitat for Humanity stores because we fix old homes and its a great place to find period doors and fixtures. So when we take long road trips to visit relatives we usually stop at different ReStores along the way. This location is nothing like the others. In a normal Habitat ReStore everyone is friendly and you are really glad to be helping out a good cause. This one is the opposite of that in my experience.First off, I have never seen more signs and security cameras in a Restore. It gives you the impression that the store assumes that you are a crook, or maybe the locals are all thieves? Seriously. What are you going to do? Run out with an old door or a toilet? Maybe swipe some of the β€œnew” Chinese-made merchandise they also sell?Secondly, the signage has an overall negative tone. Here are examples of some of the signs that were all over the store during our visit: You break you buy. Smile youre on camera. Dont even think of touching this. But probably the best sign was for the employee only section. Instead of just simply putting up a sign that says staff or employees only they literally have a sign that patronizingly says, This is not the ReStore. Turn around. That is the Restore. In my opinion, the prices are way too high for used items that were donated for free. And the new items are too high for something that’s not returnable or warrantied. So just pass this one and go to any number of other ReStores if youre looking for good used items for a remodel or to match an older home. Youll also find the staff to be friendly and helpful at the other ReStores, but please dont judge them by this location.

I tell you we dont know who comes up with the outrageous silly prices? We came here and once we loot at what they are selling and for the high prices theyre asking you can buy it brand new at a store. We are shopping around for the new house we are building and for example this people want $50 for a used small window that Home Depot is selling brand new for $40. I mean the same brand, type and size window this people want more money for a uses window? Another item a beaten up gas stove they wanted almost $500 when I can buy from Lowes brand new for $459. Save yourself some money and go by your items at a retail store. Outlet covers this people want $7 for one cover!!! Again, Home Depot sells a pack of 7 of the same covers for $5. Trust me theres nothing interesting and worth buying here.
