Stopped by on a whim while I was in Charlotte for work. Test drove two Porsches. I worked with Dallas who was great to deal with. I got a trade in value on my vehicle, was able to write a check for a Boxster. I was in and out in just a few hours. They replaced a blown fuse on the car I was purchasing as well. I accidentally left my garage door opener in the car that I traded in, Dallas overnighted the garage door opener for me. This place knows their cars. The showroom is full of very nice high-end cars. We bought a BMW and so far are very pleased.The paperwork process was very slow (apparently they were closing another sale at the same time) but Chuck and Justin were very helpful in answering all our questions and stayed well past closing time to help get the deal done. TeJay at Alta Auto Group was great to work with. We had been looking for a specific diesel truck for 6 months that had not been altered and found one on Auto Trader. We then contacted Alta Auto Group and TeJay answered the phone. Given that we were a state away, TeJay gave us a FaceTime tour of the vehicle and had two guys drive it up to Virginia for us to look at since we were highly interested. We bought it on the spot and signed the paperwork on the hood of the truck. Our teen is the main one driving the Duramax and wanted a clean engine which it is. There were two things broken as the truck was a 2006 and TeJay agreed to rebate us so we could fix those (window mechanism and side mirror). He stood by his word and we are enjoying our 2006 Chevy Duramax. The title and rebate check arrived very quickly after our purchase.

Best customer experience in auto sales ever! Unfortunately we were sold a lemon. Purchased a 2008 Honda civic si for a little less than $7,000. Was told we would have a 30 day warranty by Chuck. He wrote down the miles and we thought everything was all good. Less than 2 weeks of having the car the motor went out along with a lot of other things having to be done. Have now put in $6,200 in the car just to have it in running order. I have text messages from Chuck claiming they would fix the car. This of course didnt happen. Im not sure if they are like this with every car they sell, but I wouldnt trust them.BTW the car didnt have over 150,000 on it and it was the starter you guys paid to fix, not the alternator.$1200 more today. This car was a mess! New flywheel today. Cheap part, but expensive labor. Buyer beware of this dealership!

This has been the worst car buying experience for me and my wife . Bought the car September 28 and here it is January 15 and still no title . I paid cash for this car. Not one time have these people picked up the phone to update. Do yourself a favor and dont waste youre money or time with this company . Richard

Well the customer service was great. The truck is pretty good. I got a 2010 Toyota Tundra from them and so far not really to many complaints. The truck was in pretty good condition. I failed to realize the actuators needed to be replaced on both front doors.... my bad on that one, so I fixed that. The skid plate had been removed but I saw that so know I had to fix that. I changed the oil even thought they said it had been changed and I get did indeed change it, the oil was fresh. The shocks and tires were worn down quite a bit which they commented about my tires on the trade in so I mean I traded in the same thing so won’t complain the shocks I can fix. There were some missing or broken small plastic things on the vehicle but once again I saw these. Plus the belt squeaks a little when I crank it up or it’s the fly wheel.... not sure yet but doesn’t last long... once again I saw this.... or well in this case heard this. Overall I’m happy with the truck they bent over backwards on their customer service. Wish the price could have come down about $500-$750 for this stuff but overall I’m satisfied. I think they may give a pretty good detailed check of the cars they get but they crank them out so quick that they don’t know if they even got a lemon. So it’s not really on them so much to speak.

Be careful purchasing vehicles from here confirmed that they purchase flood vehicles from Texas. The 2011 Ford raptor I went to look at was from Texas the entire bottom was rusted, was leaking oil, needed a new head gasket(at 141k miles), the tires had no tread, they didn’t attempt to clean the engine bay or underside of the car ( dirtier then my 1999 bmw). After all the problems they wouldent even budge the price a little wanting 29k for it, I wouldent even pay 20k for it.

By far my best auto buying experience in my 40+ years. I sent a info request at midnight on a truck I was interested in that I found online. I have a challenging credit history so I placed a online credit app at the same time. As soon as they opened up that morning I received text and phone communications from them following up on my questions and application. We discussed my offer for the vehicle and my financing terms that I sought. By 10 am I recieved another call with a credit approval which I might add had much better finance terms than I had anticipated and requested. I made the choice then to actually go see the vehicle and test drive it. I arrived at their showroom and was pleasantly surprised. The showroom and office area was excellent. This appears to be a High End Dealership when you walk in the door and see some of the Cars they have there. But the staff treated this poor boy like I was their number 1 customer the whole time. The staff was friendly and very helpful without being pushy like most other places I had visited. They were also taking Covid safety precautions as we interacted which I appreciated. The vehicle was also in great shape and totally as advertised online. A carfax was offered online as well. Thats another plus. I drove the vehicle and ended up purchasing it at a price that was lower than almost anything I could find online. All said and done I drove out of there with a great vehicle and a warranty at a price that was $53 less per month than I told them upfront I was looking to spend. I talked with Steve, Chuck, and Teejay over the course of several hours that day and they each were wonderful to work with. This was a fast transaction and most of it was done over the phone which I liked. I had a small issue with the vehicle later that evening. Headlight switch was malfunctioning. This is something they were not obligated to fix. I bought vehicle as is and then purchased a extended warranty. However they quickly scheduled a service visit to remedy that issue. To me that is excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this location to anyone and I will look to them for my future vehicle needs.

I purchased a 2008 Subaru wrx hatch from here for the year I was not expecting anything amazing just a fun little second car to have, but i got pretty much the exact opposite I was told the car was serviced and completely inspected and everything was good but after only 1 week of having it oil was low, coolant was low, power steering completely went out, and the clutch needed a adjustment. Some squeeking started in the suspension I brought it back and they told me it was the pump so they replaced it is what they told me after 1 week of it being fine it was completely leaking again an o2 monitor went out shortly after and roughly two weeks after that i had to get new brake pads, rotars, and calipers after my brakes gave out at a red light with my pregnant wife in the car I have had the car almost 4 months now and since all that I replaced the front coil overs (which were bent) the sway bars, control arm, bushings and now tonight im going to be replacing the tie rods in my garage both inner and outer 10 out of 10 would not tell anyone to buy from here absolute rip off.

If your into Custom not found everywhere cars then Alta is for you. Charles and the gang over at Alta bent over backwards to get me into my latest ride even with my less than stellar credit. Happy I found them and Will certainly spread the word, thanks guys!!

BEWARE...saw all the good reviews yet my daughter was purchasing one their vehicles (we live in Michigan) they had already sold the vehicle and they were still trying to get her to wire the money for the vehicle.That is horrible for a dealership reputation, I hope more people see this.....
