I found this store on Google, while searching for fireplaces and countertops. Took the 40 minute drive to look at merchandise, but well worth the drive.I was able to view the products of interest, and gain insightful information.The people who helped me, Michele and Travis were very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Both took time to explain their products, in detail, which I needed.Again, definitely worth my drive.

Great finished product. It looks the way we expected. The company could use a little work on their communication regarding process. Be sure to ask a lot of questions. I definitely would recommend you check them out if you need this type of work done.

Nice showroom and selection. We came prepared with measurements and our current fireplace information as we wanted to get started as quickly as possible. After an awkward greeting and the staff trying to decide who was going to help us, I filled out the necessary paperwork and was told someone would get in touch with us to go over the quote the next day. After 4 days, I sent a follow up email again giving the requested information and asking when we would get a quote back for the scope of work. That was exactly a month ago and we never heard back. Found another company in the meantime that was able to accommodate and deliver on our project.

We use Fireplace & Granite for all our solid surface needs in the multi family whether it be a unit renovation, clubhouse or amenity upgrade, and have to say they are the best of the best. Starting with their sales team which is always willing to go the extra mile to the installers which in my opinion are the best there is. They are clean, professional and leave a product you dont mind standing behind.

I worked with Travis and he was very helpful working with our budget. The countertop for our kitchen is beautiful. I recommend this company for all your countertop remolding needs. The staff who installed the countertops made sure everything was right before they left. They were great!

This is an excellent, fair company that deserves your business. We sought a quote for cutting down an existing piece of granite when we bought our new home. Our salesperson, Amy, was very responsive and was able to quote us just with pictures of the piece. When I put down a deposit I was immediately contacted by scheduling, and they were very flexible with working around what was best for us based on the construction we were doing. The technicians who came out to our house arrived several hours early, even after we confirmed the time, which did take some finagling. But, the tear out and install processes were both very fast. I’m saving the best for last. After the install, I received a final bill that was several hundred dollars lower than the quote we’d agreed to. This company evaluated the work they’d done for us versus what they’d estimated, and determined we did not owe them as much as they thought we might. This was a total surprise and very appreciated. The truth is, we would’ve never known if they were not honest. I will recommend them to every person I ever meet who has granite needs!

They installed granite countertops and tile backsplash in my kitchen a couple of years ago (I’m a little behind in reviews). The entire process from selecting the slab to installation was seamless. Tracy was incredibly patient while I made a selection, and I never felt rushed to make a decision. Pricing was fair and all items were clearly outlined in the invoice. Excellent expérience. Would absolutely recommend them.

I have used Fireplace & Granite twice with kitchen updates in two houses. Neither time did I have any complaints. Both times they used the same subcontractors to install the subway tile & granite countertops. In my opinion this says a lot about the quality of their subs. The subs do an amazing job. Fireplace & Granite also offers cabinet painting which I needed in one house. The painters did a great job. I recommend Fireplace & Granite to everyone.

We purchased a Valor Gas Fireplace in 2017 and recently misplaced, lost the remote. After calling Jim at Fireplace and Granite, he contacted the manufacturer and within days, we had a new remote. We are extremely pleased with the service we received at purchase and since. If youre in search of cabinets, granite or fireplaces I would recommend this business because theyre honest and do a great job.

No response to voice mail (Tracy) and web inquiries. Builder also asked them to call me too as he recommended them. Still nothing. I provided my builder with a more responsive flooring company in Mooresville.

Would have given a 5 star review but when finishing the plumbing of one of the bathrooms they put countertops in for us, I noticed the faucet and sink hole do not line up in center together. The faucet hole they cut seems to be a little off center left. Other than that everything was great!

Fireplace and Granite is the total package from start to finish! From the moment we stepped into their show room, we knew they were going to put in our fireplace. Jen helped us with the design, Bob explained our options for an electric fireplace. We could have been very confused but they gave us wonderful guidance. Not only did Dave remove our existing fireplace, he framed the new one, reconfigured our electric and cable to be hidden behind the new fireplace and installed a a reclaimed wood mantle we already had. The stone work was beyond amazing. Billy returned to mount our new TV. I would strongly recommend Fireplace and Granite if you are looking for a company that offers outstanding design and installation.

True old world craftsmanship and customer service. I called this fine company on April 27th and on May 7th our new countertops and new sink were installed. One doesnt see customer service or craftsmanship like this anymore. The sales team, the scheduler and the installers were the best Ive encountered. To hire anyone else would be a mistake.

Quick, clear, professional from initial contact to completion. After looking at numerous granite places & being confused by what their unlisted prices were or what was incl in listed prices I finally went to Angie’slist to see if I could find any providers there.I found F&G there and reached out through Angie’s list. Then I went to their website which was very clear very easy to navigate and cleanly explained all of their prices, their packaging per square footage & the process.They responded to me within 24 hours I believe. I spoke with Travis and he laid out the plan, sent me a quote immediately based on my own rough sq footage estimate. It was exactly what the package is here with nothing extra or weird thrown in there. It even included taxes. Then we arranged for a visit a couple of days later to the show room. We walked around with Travis and got everything picked out. Next was professional measurement by a very pleasant guy. Few days later was the call to schedule.Long story short, from initial contact through Angie’slist until completely installed and done was roughly 2 weeks. Everything they said was going to happen happened when they said it was going to happen or earlier. I’ve already recommended them to a couple of other people. Highly recommended!

We were looking for gas fireplace logs to replace our 20+ year old gas insert. We stopped in on a whim at Fireplace and Granite Dist.. The gal that helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful. We purchased a set and on the way home we questioned how this new fanless set would stack up against our old unit. Very much surprised, these things put out some heat. Very pleased! While we were there I was surprised at the selection of granite and marble that that offer. Give them a shot you will be pleased.

I am very satisfied with the repair work of my bartop that was previously installed by another company without brackets. Fireplace & Granite Distributors was the only company that responded to my inquiry of installing brackets. It took about a month from first contact to schedule an appointment for the repair but it was worth the wait. The repairmen were professional, clean, and quick. They provided a more complete finish to the look than the previous installers from the other company. I would recommend them for granite repair work.

The entire process was really easy. Their designer made a recommendation of the material that we ended up choosing, then they came out to template the counters and finally installed the countertops and scheduled the plumber to hook up sink and disposal. Everyone was very friendly and professional and the countertops look great!

I have a unique fireplace manufactured by Napoleon. It had always been a challenge to light. FGD was able to come in, service the unit, make some needed adjustments and now it works like a dream. Fireplace & Granite worked with us to make our job right after several struggles with the quartz provider. The kitchen now looks great. The backsplash tiling guys are particualrly good. The counter installers took the time to get the counter seams just right. Note that if the measurer tells you there will be no mess, he is wrong! Taking out an old backsplash involves removing the walls, so there will be a lot of dust and mess on the entire first floor of your home. We would recommend F&G to others.

After my parents had a great experience with this place, I chose to also visit for my own granite needs. I had a small need in my bathroom for a countertop. Jen was able to point me in the right direction with their remnants section that was perfect for my needs. There were so many options to choose from, even from a section that was essentially leftovers. Which also meant there was a great discount on the piece we selected. Jen was able to ask the right questions and plot out everything we needed so quickly and efficiently. We were able to get in and out with a great piece in under an hour. Also having all our information in hand and expecting when to get the next step in the process. It has only been a week, and we are already scheduled for install. We could not be happier, and especially appreciate the ease of our purchase thanks to Jen! We will certainly be letting friends and family know about this place for years to come!

The work and professionalism of the technician and installers was excellent! 5 stars for them. Our other interactions felt rushed and the ball was dropped with using their plumber for reconnect. On a Friday at 5:30 pm we were left to find a plumber. The office staff were aware, no one reached out. When I called them for more details, no one apologized and we never heard from a plumber until the next day. We paid an outrageous amount to get same day after hours plumbing service from another company to have the faucet and plumbing reconnected. We have a baby in the home and family coming to visit so we needed a working kitchen sink. The office staff knew this and still did not apologize on the phone. If you can see past the poor communication and mediocre customer service for great technical work, then this is a great company to go with.

They returnedto finish once the new cook top arrived .I cant find anything negative to say about this experience.It has been a wonderful pleasure doing business with this group, start to finish.

At best a mediocre job on a small built-in wall unit with upper cabinets and lower drawers and a small granite (working/writing) surface between the two components..beside beating up the wall corners and side walls between which the granite was placed, they NEVER caulked or sealed the raw edges on the rear and sides of the slab. Looking for a professionally done job, I suggest you go elsewhere. If what theyve done here is representative of the quality of their work, well, a word to the wise usually is sufficient.So to keep the record straight, another crew was dispatched who did in fact caulk and seal the the edges properly. They also applied a coat of sealer to the granite to finish the job. All in all okay, but why not do it right the first time??

Our kitchen counter top turned out even more beaitiful than we expected! The installers did a very professional job and were very personable. They even made the day a fun and pleasurable experience!

We had visited with several different companies for WEEKS trying to get a quote on granite for our kitchen. We went to Fireplace & Granite, and within HOURS we had a quote from Jen using our estimated measurement.!! A few days later, Ed came and did our assessment. He was awesome! Very nice, answered all of our questions and made sure we didnt need anything else before he left. Jen was our sales person, and I cant say enough about how happy we were with her! That girl worked her tail off for us on several different stones with patience and a smile! We visited the store for our countertop layout...they installed it LESS than a week later! The installers were amazing and I cant believe how gorgeous my kitchen is! We went with marble quartzite because of Jens vast knowledge of the different stones they offer.
