BEST bagels around!!! Fresh, and extremely satisfying!! No need to even toast these bagels, they are so good. Friendly, and welcoming. So happy I found this awesome bakery right here in concord!!

My husband loves pie. Being from upstate NY, Apple pie is in my blood. But this year for Valentine’s Day I wasn’t able to make him one. Ordered the apple cranberry pie from Dough and it was fantastic! The cranberries add that pop of tartness you can’t get from NC off-season apples, and the crust was buttery and perfect. I can’t wait to try more of their baked goods!

Love this place! We’ve stopped by a few times to get some fresh bread. They have different types daily so it’s nice to try something different. The price is also better than the grocery store bread and much more fresh and higher quality. Worth stopping in!

Love this place. It is an authentic NY/NJ style bakery. Not the usual heavy sugar/butter southern fare you typically find in bakeries around here.Ive had cookies, pies (get pecan... so good!), and just about everything from the displays when Im having a sweets craving. I tried bread during the pandemic and it was fantastic. They supply bread to several local restaurants. I love getting buns for special occasions. While Ive never had their bagels, Ive heard they are absolutely the best around.I see some negative reviews here and there, not sure why as Ive never had anything here I didnt like. This is a family run business, just a husband and wife so cut them some slack if theyre running a few minutes late in the morning. I live nearby so I see these guys in and out of the bakery at all hours to make sure they are stocked each morning. I cannot imagine how demanding that lifestyle must be.Give this place a try, I know youll like it!

My kids saw this shop one day and were so excited to try it. They happened to be closed, so we went the following week. The two workers were not very friendly, but I understand bad days and can overlook things like that. I had to go in twice because the first time in, the lady working, did not get our full order. Mistakes happen, no big deal. HOWEVER, the second time in a few minutes later, a man can to ring us up. He pulled out one of those bakery papers that they use to pick up the baked goods and it looked pretty wrinkled up, but I was like ok, whatever. THEN after he picked up the brownie, he put the paper back in the box to reuse! First, those squares of paper are cheap, but after seeing that, I knew why it was so wrinkled when he was getting our brownie. It had been used multiple times. He/they are touching all over it and then touching the bakery items, so that’s cross contamination. They weren’t wearing masks when the state was still in a mask up everywhere mandate, so if they didn’t care about wearing masks (didn’t really bother me) I doubt they were washing their hands like mad men and women. For reusing one time use items, I won’t be back. If they do that in front of customers, what are they doing in the back?

They did a great job for my daughters 18th birthday cake. It was beautiful and delicious!

Ive tried many treats from here, and from bagels to chocolate, to cream horns to Danish, theyre all extremely tasty. Definitely need to go early in the morning or call ahead to get the freshest and most selection. With things being made prior to open, shelf life for most things is really short.

Went during the morning hours and there was barely anything there. What was on display look days old. We chose not to get anything. Friendly.

Have seen mixed reviews. But it all boils down to one thing. How are the bagels? I will go out of my way by 30 minutes to get good bagels. Theirs are the bomb. 5 of 5. Just the right amount of tug. Just the right amount of chew. The only thing I wish is to be first in line when they came out of the oven. These are authentic NY style bagels!

I was really disappointed with the items that I got. I was expecting it to really be like a New York bakery. The crumb cake was very dry. The buttercreams were chalky and overly sweet. The lemon bar and tiramisu was bland. At the prices that are being charged here, a much better product needs to be offered here. I wouldnt recommend this bakery unless youve never tried a New York pastry before.

Tried this place for the first time earlier this week (and we’ve been 3 times since then) sad to see the negative google reviews. The bagels are amazing. I don’t like cheesecake, but my partner is a cheesecake fanatic and loved their cheesecake. You can tell it’s a small family owned business, but it’s perfect. Definitely one of our new bagel spots.

Please!!!! Please!!!! do not buy a birthday cake from this bakery. We bought a birthday cake from this bakery for my grandsons birthday. When we brought the cake home and everyone tasted it, they IMMEDIATELY knew that the cake was made with yellow cake mix from the box, how embarrassing was that. My family and friends bake and buy professional birthday cakes all the time and we all knew that the cake was not homemade and that it was made with store-bought yellow cake mix and store-bought frosting from the can. To make things worse when we cut the cake it was falling apart this cake was horrible and the worse birthday cake Ive ever purchased from a so-called professional bakery. This bakery is ripping people off, I wish I would have tried their cake before purchasing a birthday cake from them. Furthermore, I asked them to draw balloons on the cake but instead they put blue M&Ms on the cake and drew balloon strings on it with canned frosting. DONT BUY A BIRTHDAY CAKE FROM THIS BAKERY.... PERIOD.

The best bagels outside of NYC. The French bread is perfection. The baker/chef is so sweet. It is nice to see her in the afternoon normally.

Went in here the other it was the first time I’ve seen This place, I seen it when I was visiting e-noodles. Business was very clean ( I know so because I seen him clean everything everything after I touched the payment center). Desert was great my kids and husband loved all of it. If your looking for a good bakery that is FOR SURE following CDC cleaning guidelines and not just saying they are, this is your place. Also I recommend the Manhattan Snow!

Best italian Pastries.

Being a New Yorker living in North Carolina, I was looking for a good northern type Baker (hard to find) to make a cannoli cake for a birthday, unable to find one. After many phone calls around the Charlotte area and with no luck I came across Dough New York, not only could they make one, they did it with short notice. I will say this turned out to be one of best cakes I have eaten since living in NY. The extra cookies and bread were also excellent.

So many goodies!!! Everything is pretty good. Not as good as the bakeries in NYC but plenty good enough to satisfy the cravings!

The lady that helped me was super nice. The strawberry cheesecake was sweet and fresh. The only thing that I would have loved was a gram cracker crust. Something crunchy to balance out the smooth cream. Still worth it to me!!! Will come back for more.

This place is awesome! The selection would have been much better earlier in the day. The proprietor was very nice and amicable.

The staff consist of 4 family members and the customer service is not their priority. The one time I special ordered a cake, the joke was on me....very dissatisfied. I did bring it to their attention and they did offer me a cookie of my choice. I chose not. Maybe Im just used to Southern Hospitality.

I have tried to go here twice to get something and every time I go they are closed early. It says they are open until 8 o’clock yet the closed at 6 as I was in the parking lot about to walk in. Absolutely ridiculous.

Best bagels in NC by far.

The first real New York style bakery Ive seen in town. I ran across this place when I was going to e-noodles. I bought 5 mini cheesecake for my coworkers and we all loved them. They make real New York style bagels everyday, donuts on Friday and Saturday, and all kinds of New York style sweets everyday. You can go in for a cup of coffee and a sweet and just enjoy the atmosphere. I am thrilled with this location. Its very close to home and work.

Wanted a braided bread pastry, which is hard to find. Dawn made one especially for me & it was yummy!Butter cookies are pretty doggone good too!Nice to have a real bakery close by instead of having to go to the grocery store bakery.

Love them! Amazing customer service and goodies. Their bagels are the best and are an everyday necessity! The cakes are soooo good. 10/10 would recommend for any event or anything your sweet tooth needs!

Way over priced. Very low standards to quality, not much flavor, texture for products were stale, the cupcake tasted as if it were box made, frosting is super sugary for a buttercream? Linzer cookie didn’t have much flavor. I couldn’t pronounce some of the items in there. The best product was the coca-cola! Lol!!! Save your money and go somewhere else.

Best tasting goodies, and best customer service around! Dawn and Brian will take special requests and always exceed our expectations. I use them for both personal and professional orders, and have never been disappointed.

I am only rating the sweets side of this bakery, I havent tried their bread or bagels but as far as their desserts go, I found them to be good but lacking in the color and freshness. They taste like theyve been made in advanced, not fresh the day of but theyre still good. People seem friendly, but not very willing to converse aside from greetings. All in all, not bad but I hope to see some more colorful creations maybe some cupcakes or something!

I ordered a carrot cake. The cake tastes more like pumpkin spice. And the frosting is similar to a buttercream not cream cheese. But the cake was moist. Really disappointed. We had a cupcake and a cookie and both were extremely dry.

This bakery is amazing. My friends and I visit this bakery almost every morning after our swim practice at the Y. We love that we can call in before we get there for what we want and how nice the people there are. Best place for bakery around hands down. Every morning I get at least 2 cinnamon raisin bagels that are always fresh and warm and they are amazing.

Not very fresh, the tiramisu tasted just like the ones I buy that are pre made and frozen. The cheesecake was dry and tasted old. Overall the atmosphere wasn’t the best nor professional and was pricy for what it was.

Beautiful, delicious, French pastries. Everything is handmade. The coconut macroons are the size of baseballs. The lemon bars are perfectly tart. Everything is irresistible!

Wasnt too impressed with this place. I got one of their muffins and it was good, but their total fair was lacking what I would think needed for a return trip

The bagels are always great but the cheese cake was dried out like it had been sitting there for too long. The hot chocolate bombs are delicious and they have great coconut cream pie

I requested a Dairy-free white Batman cake for my sons 6th birthday. We were traveling and needed a bakery in Concord. I did not have time to get referrals or read reviews. I was nervous. But, what my Son got, exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely fantastic. It doesnt get better. The cake was dense, moist and had wonderful flavor that did not give away that it was missing dairy ingredients. I called all around the area and Dawn was the only one that agreed to do it. Not only did she take the order on short notice, but was prompt in communications via email. I dont know how she did it, but I recommend her work to anyone looking for a cake for people with food allergies. Its hard to get them to taste that good and no one could tell the difference. Even the icing and fondant were great. And I tell you, the cream between the layers was amazing. My son was so happy to have a cake that was so cool to look at and did not lack in flavor. Ive made my fair share of cakes for him, but this one was absolutely supurb. Wish Dough Bakery was in my area.

Wonderful friendly people! I have hadnt anything I didnt like from Dough. Their cheesecake puts all other cheesecakes to shame. I must brag on their custom made Birthday cakes, Baby Shower cakes, etc...so pretty and delicious!

I love the cream filled doughnuts! Its a race to get them on Saturday mornings because she only makes doughnuts for sale then. You can order your own and pick them up. Ive done that and my family eats every one by Sunday. I wish they were available every day!

One of the best places in the area to get a few pastries and trust me there bagels are good. They dont have a lot to offer but what they do offer is good

Got a chocolate cupcake, canolis and cake pops today. Great desserts. Loved the cupcake icing. The guy was very nice and answered a lot of questions.

Really terrible. Bought 3 Pastries and 2 of the were hard and tasteless. Tasted like it had been sitting there for a week or more. Should have known something was off when the lady put my oasteries on the back counter next to her phone and coffee cup while she went to get a box. Stay away from the place. Overpriced as $9 went into the trash after 1 bite!

This place has the best cinnamon rolls! There other food items are good to like their bagels,doughnuts and pastries but those cinnamon rolls put everyone else around to shame.

$5 for a flavorless loaf of Italian bread. The price alone was beyond reasonable and the flavor didnt even compensate for price. The cupcake taste was more like entenmanns not a made from scratch flavor. Very disappointing.

If you like overpriced stale cupcakes. This is the place for you. Been there several times and it hasnt got any better. Desserts do have shelf life..

Great place! My family and friends have never been disappointed. We have enjoyed their doughnuts, desserts, fresh baked breads and cakes. All of our birthday cakes come from here, whether its a Boston cream pie or a specially made Halloween themed birthday unicorn cake- Dawn does an amazing job! Our sons 1st birthday cake was Dr Seuss and she even made cookies with cat in the cat design 1# cookies as party favors. We recieved many compliments on our cake and cookies. Aside from ordering specialty items, its nice to just stop in for a bagel, biscotti or a special treat like a Roscko (chocolate dessert!). Try it out, you wont be disappointed.. :-)

Had two bagels left on a Saturday morning. Decided to get one anyway. Asked to be toasted, the lady behind the counter was very smug about telling me they dont toast their bagels. 4 bucks for a bagel, bottle of water and a bad attitude. The bagel itself was good, but putting ice cold cream cheese on a room temp bagel isnt the most satisfying.

Fresh made bread daily is to die for. Oh yeah, I havent even said the best part yet, the CHEESECAKE IS AMAZING!!!!!!! Give this place a try you wont be disappointed.

I bought 6 scones for my friend for christmas yesterday., saw her at church today and she said they were the best scones she had ever ate. when i ask her to share she said never! lol i going to bring my friend Judy in this week and i know she will love it. thank you .

So disappointed. Love pastries and these were the worst we have ever tried. The desserts had an after taste and also tasted like freezer burn.

Find another bakery. Pre-Ordered bread of the day. Picked up on day it arrived. It was stale and taffy-like. Also bagels were way over-done, smelled like burned sesame seeds and hard as rock.

Did not get what I ordered. Very little compensation and overall cake did not have a lot of cannoli filling inside the cake as you would expect. Charged me way to much for the order.
