Two months later, brand new pistol. SMH. Tool marks and scratches are everywhere. Burs and nicks, Looks like a drunk teenager did it at home. If I had a better camera it would only show even more damages. Patrick Sleem is not worth the time or money....

The people are very rude and very expensive! Wanted to speak with gunsmith he called back with a very nasty attitude! I think curiosity is very important! Bottom line would not give my business to this company!!!!!!

I had my glock 43x slide cut here, and the did the worst job I have ever seen! It looks like the just traced my red dot and then went to work with a drill. The front of the cut is uneven and Rounded as well as being sloped. The hikes to screw in the optic are uneven as well. I took a micrometer to it and the holes are off by .10, so no matter how I mount my optic it sits sideways and won’t zero. I took my optic in to ask about the mistake and the lady at the front door said it looks great, then walked into the back and came back about a minute later and said there was nothing wrong with it (of course there isn’t….). No apology, no offer to try and fix it or replace it. DO NOT go here unless it’s for the most basic of gunsmithing (which you can probably do yourself after a few YouTube videos)

Went in today with a cheap hand-me down shotgun from a family member that recently passed away, couldnt get the barrel to seat for some reason. It was fixed while i waited and was charged an insanely fair price. Will definitely recommend and do business in the future.

I made a terrible mistake and had a punch break off trying to get a roll pin out of an M1A receiver. This thing was stuck bad. Without any questions they went to work and did everything to help me. Great guys! I will definitely come back before I touch another punch lol

My gun was dropped off over a month ago. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to be fixed. I called the 3rd week to check on the status and I was told my gun hadn’t been looked at yet. I called back after the 4th week and was told the same thing. I decided to stop in today, 5th week, to check on the status of my gun. 5 weeks and nothing was looked at and no explanations to why. I decided to just take my gun and I’m in the process of looking for another gunsmith. Any recommendations?

I recommended AAF to two of my friends. I had 4 rifles that I dropped off for them. Turn around time was about 3 months to get all 4 rifles complete (excellent considering the detailed work he had to do, and his current work load). The rifles‘ fit and finish were perfect. The after market triggers that were installed broke right at 2lbs and broke clean and crisp. The cerakote jobs were so good it looked like factory finishes. The bedding jobs were also superb. He also threaded and installed a muzzle brake on one bolt action rifle, and did a complete rebuild on a stock AR to be a more ergonomically sound and accurate firearm.Once I got the rifles back, I took one rifle out and zeroed / DOPE it for my friend for deer season. This was a 3 MOA rifle. After the work AAF did, it is now a .75 MOA rifle for 3 shot groups at 100 yards. I could not be happier.

Had Pat build me a custom 1911 with a .22 conversion. The trigger is amazing. I asked for a 3lb trigger and it is right at 3lbs and breaks like glass. The gun functions flawlessly. Very happy customer and totally recommend All American for any gunsmith work.

Edit: Long story short, after this review, the owner went out of his way and attempted to apologize for his employees behavior, which is very respectable, so I have upgraded the review from 1 to 3 stars.Original: Really?? I call them on the phone and they tell me it is $40 to ship a pistol. I go in and give them the pistol, they take my money, and I leave. A week later the buyer says he still has not received it. I call them back to see what the issue was and they tell me very rudely that they dont know who told me it was $40 but it will probably end up costing over $100 based on previous experiences, and it is clear that shipping it anytime soon is an afterthought at this point. What?? I already paid you. Additionally, I have personally shipped a firearm (a rifle at that) 1 year ago with someone else for $30. I am not going to pay additional money after having already paid you for something that you agreed to complete a week ago, I said.Well, if you want to get an attitude, then you can come pick the pistol up, was their response.Long story short, I got him to ship it for the price I was quoted and did not have to go back in, but why the heartburn?! This is not a place I am going to be returning to. Very unprofessional. Small business with crappy business models who treat customers like crap after their money is paid wont, dont and shouldnt survive.

Took a pistol that had been problematic for a while. Manufacturer sent me parts, I changed magazine springs and finally sent it to the manufacturer for repair and came back still malfunctioning! AAFT turned it around in about a week, explained the problem, what he did to repair it and it works better than when it was new. Not one malfunction after 500 rounds! Knowledgeable, approachable and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

*edited from before*I was able to talk to Chris about a job on my rifle for the buttplate. I didnt realize all the complexities and intricacies that went into just trimming the the stock for the butplate. I had to admit I was a little upset at the time, but after talking to Chris and the boss who both were very kind, respectful, and understanding about it were able to explain what went on. I was able to understand that what I asked was bit too unrealistic with precieved visions. I would like to say I appreciate all their effort into the work. I would like to appreciate both their hard work and dedication into satisfying the customer. Customer service means a lot to them and I can understand that they go to great lengths in order to help please their customers. I respect them a lot for the work they do. I was a little quick to judge without understanding how hard it was to install a part that wasnt meant for this stock.

A++++++++ Business!!!!!!Pat really helped me out when my Glock 42 was damaged because of some poorly reloaded ammunition I purchased at the local gun show. He talked with the ammunition manufacturer and convinced him to replace my firearm with a brand new one. I would highly recommend this gunsmith for anything firearm related.

Purchased a double barrel (side by side) shotgun and read a few unofficial sources online that said the left barrel was a modified choke. Could not confirm or unconfirm it via the manufacturer or manual. It concerned me because I want to have the option of shooting slug if I so choose. Took it to All American Firearms and Training expecting to just have it cut down to around 18 to 18.5 to get rid of any choke. Patrick at AAFT measured the barrels and confirmed they were both the same diameter. He then checked to see if they were choked and found they werent. He recommended just leave it as is since its not choked and I agreed. He couldve just not checked the barrels, cut them down and took my money but he didnt. He clearly has integrity. He didnt even charge me any fee to check it out. I look forward to dealing with them again. This is the kinda place I want my money to go to. Honest and quality work. 5 stars is an understatement.

A bad purchase made good by the gunsmith at AAF. Yugo PAP 5.56 pistol wasnt feeding. AAF diagnosed the issue and formulated a solution that worked. Good turn around and reasonably priced. No waiting weeks just to hear whats wrong with it and more on top of that to get it back. I was sending my work to a gunsmith in Montana but Ill drop my stuff off here and see what can be done locally first. Gunsmith demonstrated the issue and functionality before I left the shop. Best gunsmithing experience Ive had to date. Previous shops in town were huge disappointments. Recommended.

First off they are nice folks, but it does not change the fact they practice bad bussiness skills. I dropped my slide(XDM40) off on 7Aug15 to be beed blasted. Everything was good to go at that time. I wanted night sights to be added to the slide so the gentleman said he would add them free of charge just bring by the night sights. I wanted to put on the slide. So yesterday I brought the night sights by and I asked the lady behind the counter to double check the sights to make sure they work and that he was not installing bad sites. Then out of the blue today I get a call stating that they did not feel comfortable working on my slide and I needed to come pick it up. That is bad business they should have told me that from day one that he was not going to work out, I think it was due to the fact that I asked the lady to check on the night sights in the bathroom to make sure they work and I guess that offended her I guess everythings offending everybody these days Ill take my business elsewhere, & I will also let my 2000 members know on my webpage not to come to this business.
