Well for a thrift store kinda expensive, cashier was rude when supervisor showed up, ignore the customers isnt a way to get people to shop at your store. To bad its going to be winter yard sales are over, you can barter with the yard owner lol.

Savers used to be the best. They have changed. Their prices have become far too high for used items. They no longer have changing rooms. And the return policy is for store credit only. It’s becoming a scam.

I went to purchase a single serving bowl at the checkout, and informed the cashier that the price tag was missing—something I assume happens pretty frequently at pretty much any secondhand store. I would have been happy to pay whatever price they named, which I’ve done before, but was instead told that they couldn’t sell it to me if there was no price tag. When I asked if someone could please just double check and that I’d pay what they asked, I was told no, and they took the bowl away to be set with a pile of other merchandise. The cashier was very sweet and clearly uncomfortable, so I don’t mean this to be a complaint targeted at her. This policy is bizarre for a store that sells used goods—I would have paid what you asked. Why refuse to sell if a tag fell off or never made it onto the item? Just put a price on it.

No attempt at sanitizing, store feels dirty as does much of the merchandise, I found a t-shirt I liked, stained and over-priced. I could buy it new cheaper. Prices on skirts I looked at were $4-6 over similar at Goodwill. This used to be a favorite go-to for unique china finds. Nothing now. Sorry Savers.

Ive been a Savers customer for nearly 20 years, but theyre going to lose my patronage if they dont reopen the changing rooms.I wanted to go clothes shopping one time, but instead Ill have to go back for the 4th time because I cant make sure things fit right before buying, and they offer exchanges instead of refunds.I have loved shopping at Savers, but I have young kids and its a big hassle to coordinate plans with my husband so I can return to the thrift store every week to *try again*.I hear Arc Value Village and Salvation Army have changing rooms, so I guess Im shopping there now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

One of my least favorite thrift shops in the Twin Cities. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and I always find a book or two, but most of their stock is unimpressive and overpriced. So much damaged and stained non-designer clothing for 10$+ each garment? At that price point you can find like new stuff on eBay...or new stuff at Target, tbh, if youre not in it for the sustainability or resale game.

Clothing items that were grungy + full of holes were priced at $10+. Pathetic excuse for a thrift store where people are trying to find a decent deal on used items. Some people may heavily rely on thrift stores for clothing and other household goods. Totally not the “spirit” of what a decent thrift store should be, making these used items inaccessible for people who may need them. Shelves throughout this store were PACKED full to the point of looking sloppy because I assume items don’t move quickly at such high prices. Two stars because I did find some things, but really had to search for items I thought were worth the value. Checkout staff member was also very friendly. Unfortunately I won’t be returning here for a while and I wouldn’t recommend giving this place the time of day if you’re looking for reasonable prices.

I love this place for kids shoes. My wife bought my five year old one pair of shoes at target last week. I took her to savers today and bought her four pairs plus a pair of piddle jumping gum boots. And I think I spent less. seeing as kids that age outgrow shoes in less than a year I know I will be back. To my five year old it is all the same. To her, new shoes are new because they are new to her. Also teaches her to recycle reuse and to be a smart shopper. I also stopped and dropped off three bags of her clothes she had outgrown for the next smart dad. Great place.

Shopping for clothes is a joke. You cant try anything on, and they dont allow returns, only exchanges. Taking my rating down a bit from a few years back. Id give a 2 and a half if I could. The prices have steadily inclined over the years. I remember a time when they were just a humble thrift store in the 90s. But now on numerous occasions I have seen items of clothing that I knew you could buy new for the same price on the racks. I also dont get used tshirts for 7 dollars. I also have never understood why they never have any good records...for 15 years I have found practically nothing. I know what people get rid of from other people who do ebay and consignment. And Im sure Savers has someone who picks the good stuff out. So Im wondering, why even have a record section? Theres only so much Tom Jones and religious records a man can buy. Or not buy. Still a fan and loyal customer...just venting. Theres got to be a way (like other thrifts around town St. Vincent Di Paul comes to mind) to take those prices down.

This is a pretty big store with lots of good stuff. I went looking for a nice end table and I found one. Theyve also got a lot of clothes, well organized, and a large selection of dishes and home decor, also well organized.Theyre a little light on tools and sporting goods, at least currently, and I didnt notice whether they have much in the way of lighting. I did see some electronics, but I wasnt interested, plenty of books and toys, but, again, Im not in the market for those. The place is neat, clean and organized and the workers are friendly and helpful, so it was a pleasant overall experience shopping there. They fired him for eating all the Ws.I gave the store four out of five stars because it seems like the merchandise can be a little overpriced or inconsistently priced.
