Would give zero if I could. Please read this before stopping for fuel here!!Stopped here when first arrived to Colorado Springs for gas. It was early, before the store was open but the pumps were open. Put in $22 worth of fuel when come to find out the acorn store (Sinclair) took out $150. We tried to call and no answer. Went back to talk to the manager and he told us that they take out $150 because that’s the max amount of fuel you can take from the pump, so they make sure that you have that in there before it changes to the price you actually paid. He then told us that the company has been doing this for 30 years and it used to be $1,000. Never heard of this before so posting this as a warning!
Saturday night i was in a car accident at the intersection where this acorn is located. I approached the acorn around 9 pm. I NEEDED water, I believe i was in shock. The male and female there stated that they were closed. I showed them my car. They were more concerned about my shoes being dirty. I would have gladly mopped up my shoe prints. They finally let me in but Every thing was closed down. All I asked for was water. i would have gladly left 5 BUCKS for that water. I would have drank out of the faucet. Please consider circumstances.
Awesome store Liz was very friendly and provided great customer service
**WARNING** This place has credit card skimmers on its pumps, don’t go here unless you want to get your credit card numbers stolen.
Second time I’ve been here in three years and it’s also the second time there’s been a “bathroom break” sign on the door. Hope the manager knows they lose business because people like myself aren’t willing to wait 5+ minutes because they schedule one employee to work a shift by themselves
Past couple times I’ve been here the pumps never work
Good place.
