I wish that I could give Chris Hernandez and Josh Wolff more than just five stars for the work that they performed on my 1968 Cutlass Convertible. Finding someone dependable that will do any work on a classic car is becoming increasingly difficult these days. However, these gentlemen went above and beyond to ensure that I was informed of the process and happy with the installation afterward. They got done with my custom center console, front and rear LED lighting, speakers, and my custom subwoofer box/ and trunk promptly. Their professionalism was definitely appreciated. I will be taking all my vehicles to Drive-In AudioSound because of these two and how they conduct business.

I went to Drive up Audio and Steve was very knowledgeable and helpful being able to pinpoint possible solution. I brought my victory magnum motorcycle to see if they knew the fix for speakers that seemed like they had high treble he recommended using sound absorbing material and speaker baffles to trap the sound so it didn’t escape as it was being pushed out. Needless to say a couple hours later I came back with the baffles in and the sound absorbing material on to thank Steve because they sounded a lot better. From there Steve took time out of his day to help tune the setting on my radio to make it sound that much better free of charge! Overall great experience. Looking to do some ceramic coating next for the bike!

Got my windows tinted in my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited. Tint looks great. the showroom was clean and glad the walls aren’t stacked with junk like most showroom and audio shops I’ve been in. Products were very well presented. What impressed me most and led me to write this review was the customer service Chris Hernandez showed. Very personable and friendly. Professional. Took the time to explain products and asked what level of tint I wanted and showed how each one transfers heat. Great experience overall!

Excellent service here! Both times I have been here I have had excellent help with my backup camera! I got an auto starter installed in my car. Initially, I had some concerns but they really stepped up their customer service and made things right so that I was completely satisfied with my experience. This makes me feel confident that I can be a returning customer and refer others and trust they will be treated with the same level of customer service.

UPDATE: they did respond to my email and called me, the manager better explained my problem and possible solutions and also gave me a full refund.Highway robbery!!!! They had my car for maybe 10 whole minutes. Said there was nothing wrong, offered me a part that cost like $120 to maybe fix it (fix what?! You said nothing was wrong!!!) YET they still charged me $50!!!!! Worst $50 ever spent. I feel completely ripped off. I get that you are a business and need to pay your people, but don’t rip off customers!!!! 50 for 10 mins!!! That’s like charging me $300 an hour!!!!! Never again will I return to this store. I will now go else where. Not the first time I had a bad experience here. I do find the good in bad though, so I will say their techs are always kind.

My running boards look good and Im happy with the install but the customer waiting area was closed so I had to wait outside for almost 3 hours. Nice day so not too bad but would have been terrible if the weather hadnt cooperated.

Just bought a used 4Runner and previous owner put in some after market audio equipment in it. Unfortunately there is no sound coming out of speakers so after calling around several places, most closed, and other one clearly was having a bad day! I called Drive In Autosound and got through right away, the gentleman answered my questions, gave me pricing, and scheduled an appointment to get issues resolved! Chris Wigley is still the man, I am a return customer from the Chapel Hills location. I previously had a head unit installed at the Chapel HIlls Location, came back for an appointment at that location but an installer called in that day. The staff there called Chris as it turns out Chris had moved stores to the Motor City location. Chris gladly took me the same day and was able to find a sub that fit perfectly in the custom box I provided and an accompanying amp. The installer Jeremy did an awesome job. The custom box gave him a few hoops to jump through in order to mount it confidently but he took care of and I am very pleased with the work he did. Night and day difference in terms of audio quality. Overall excellent job from both Jermey and Chris. WIll be returning with any future car audio needs. Highly recommend these fellas for anything car audio related.

I have known Dave from a previous vehicle wrap that was done with his former employer (their loss). I kept in touch with Dave and told him I had a new concept in mind for my girl Becky who is now Felicia aka Bye Felicia. I wanted to see if the previous work was covered under a warranty because I had a LOT of rock chips. So he told me to stop in at his new employment, Drive in Autosound. So I did. It was decided that the work I had done before at RMWindow Tint wasn’t up to par. I had rock chips that should haven’t happen there yet blah blah blah. So I went and saw my man Dave at Drive in Auto Sound.He gave me fair answer that it would cost more to do what needed to be fixed from the lack of good work from RMWindow Tint.So him and I came up with a new plan. Wrap the whole car in the color of my stripes and just add different stripes. Dave said he would do the job better than before and I wouldn’t be disappointed. One gentlemen, Roberto, was going to do all of the work to make sure it was done to a meticulous standard. 10 days after I dropped my Becky off, I was in awe!! Roberto took so much time and dedication into ensuring Becky got a proper transformation to Felicia.My car was sexy as hell before but she was gorgeous now. Dave, Roberto, and anyone else that did the work on her did a phenomenal job. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to do your work. Yes they do wrap vehicles. It’s not just about surround sounds getting boosted out or a new remote start. They have a secret menu or sorts where they will wrap the hell outof your car anyway you want it. Thank you everyone!!

I brought my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo here for a remote starter (which also would fix the limited-range key fob issue thats common to these vehicles). SARAH helped me choose a relatively low-tech option -- I definitely didnt want mobile app controls! -- at a fair price, about $390 total. Installation went exactly as scheduled, and the work is neat and tidy. TROY made sure I understood how to use the new key fobs. Just in time for the first cold snap of this Autumn, my Jeep is toasty warm when I climb in! This shop is patient and kind with older folks who drive older vehicles, and I recommend them unreservedly.

Manager Steve King showed superior customer service, calling me after I dropped off car to double check my needs, offered pre and post inspection and very courteous acknowledging anyone coming in for service. Great experience, great work, my window tint turned out exactly how I wanted it!

Talked with Steve about getting my jeep tinted. After getting estimates around town they had the best price. Everywhere else was ok with me getting the whole jeep illegally tinted (which I didnt know) but Steve K. let me know and directed me into the right direction.

I had an issue of water getting inside the door causing problems with my car audio. Troy (Store Manager) was awesome. I also suspected some poor wiring done by another car audio store which caused me to lose the front stage sound I wanted plus some other things. At the end of the day, they found the wiring issues, fixed everything, hooked me up with a great price on a amplifier and now the system sounds better than ever. I was impressed with their honesty and really took time to listen to what I wanted as a customer.

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Sales Rep Robert assisted me in deciding on a window tint and explained all the pros and cons regarding my new 2017 Tundra, and made perfect recommendations, and got me scheduled fast and furious. He also helped me decide on the best looking, most efficient window visors. Awesome product too. The morning of my window tint appointment, the installer, James, took time to introduce himself, explain what he was doing, and answered all my dumb questions about windshield brows too. Last week I thought my truck radio was going out, so I took it to Drive In Autosound. My AM station in particular has started getting a lot of static. They checked out my radio and told me my AM and FM signals were some of the strongest theyve encountered. Then he went on to explain that AM is being fazed out by the military and that was probably why my AM signal in not as clear sometimes as it used to be. I was so impressed with their honesty (a thing that is so hard to find nowdays). They could have lied and sold me a new radio, but being honest was more important to them. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Your honesty is refreshing to say the least. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

Other businesses I attempted to contact either didnt reply or their website form didnt work. Service at its best. I have a viper alarm and not too many shop near ne deal with viper let alone carry them. I was very fortunate to have been recommended by another local shop to Drive in Autosound in Motor City in CO and they helped me with my issue. I had to wait for Viper to fix the brain unit and once Autosound got it back they installed and I was good to go. Then a few weeks later I had a different issue with my alarm and I went back to their shop and they also fixed it. Quickly and accurately. I was shown that my alarm was working properly and I tested it out before leaving to be sure that it was working and it was. I highly recommend them to anyone that has any electrical issues with their car SUV or truck. Ask for Troy when you go in, their top notch. Will defined see them again for some future work on my car.

I purchased my remote start 3 years ago - now it doesn’t work - went in to Drive In auto sound and they wanted to charge me $100 to determine what was wrong with the remote start they sold me - I then inquired about the cost of a new remote start and they quoted me $900 - I then went to Quality Auto Service - they quoted me $400ish - I will never step foot in a Drive In auto sound again

If this place was handing out there services for free I would not even let them touch my car. They are only happy to sell you services and not explain how they will work after they are installed. Called numerous times just to be put on eternal hold. Had to bring my car to Car Toys to get them to fix it even though I purchased the warranty this place would not honor there own warranty on there botched install.

I had my sound system and tint, in my 2010 Dodge Caliber installed by Drive In Autosound and they did it in a very timely manner and did an amazing job. All the wires were hidden perfect and you couldn’t tell there were subs in the back until the door was open. The tint was done with precision. No bubbles or discoloration. The customer service is immaculate. They make sure you know what you’re getting and help you pick what you want. I would highly recommend Drive In for tint and audio accessories for your vehicle

Overall a unpleasant experience. Pricing and quality of work changes accordingly to how They feel so dont even listen to their quote. Parts of my vehicle werent put back correctly. Wiring job and installation of the new stereo was far from professional. My New Amplifier/sub didnt work 20 minutes After I left....Well turns out they Didnt put the fuse in correctly which caused it to short out, not blow, and ruined the fuse box all together. I wasnt paying even more to have the system diagnosed for the problem when coming back in which was told would be $50-100 to have it just looked at. Youd think I wouldnt have to pay again after a $700 installment which was quoted at $400. So I tryed Cartoys and wasnt charged for the small fix. No problems since. Dont let this location work on your vehicle.

Spent $1300 on new car stereo. The unit was chipped when installed. They comped me $50, hardly enough to cover my gas for the trip there and back. Then it took them 3 hours to pair my phone. They knew little about pairing Androids and it was a discovery learning every step of the way, even in showing me the features of the new system. Had I known this before going there, I definitely would have looked for a different business. Robert is a nice enough guy and did what he could to help but I didnt appreciate losing 3 hours of my day.

Troy was very helpful and flexible with upgrading my radio system. Excellent customer service, including fabricating a part that no other business in town would make, in order to make the upgrade a possibility. A+++

I did a ton of research and got a referral to check out these guys and Im pleased that I did. I could not be happier. I just picked up my GX470 with an after market bumper. The Drive-In Autosound Motor City guys did an AMAZING job installing a clear bra on the bumper. I couldnt even tell that they covered it. The seams were very difficult to detect. They handled the details flawlessly. They covered the bumper bar stinger which most shops seemed to discourage due to the challenge. They did a great job of covering it and hiding the seams on the backside. They really exceeded my expectations of what a clear bra would look like on this bumper. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I couldnt thank them and compliment them enough. It truly is beautiful work. I highly recommend them. I am super pleased and so impressed with how it turned out.

Couldnt be happier. My python autostart wasnt connecting to my truck and this was the 2nd time within a year to get it fixed here. They got my truck in almost immediately after I called and taught me how to connect it myself in case it disconnected again. They did this free of charge too. Had a great experience with my daughtes car stereo and the next dayI brought my own vehicle in to get remote start installed. Very good customer service and shout out to Chris and Sarah going the extra mile to ensure of this.

Stopped in to get pricing for a new radio and backup camera. Had to provide my own cord in order to connect with the display models. Rep was not knowledgeable as he should have been for the basic questions that I asked. Installation may be free but be prepared to pay top dollar for harness and other accessories for everything to work properly.

Had a remote start installed after 9 months of no problems suddenly my battery was dead. Took it to ford they determined that it was the remote start. James and his crew was awesome they handled the problem with ease. Turns out the problem was due to the factory system and viper were fighting each other it was not caused by bad installation but because ford turned on something from the factory. The problem was able to be resolved the crew was super friendly and willing to help. A+ business I will for sure be a repeat customer!
