My favorite market. I come from another city just to shop here! The store is ALWAYS clean and always stocked. Foods always fresh and the variety is never-ending.The owner is amazing friendly and so helpful.We are starting our vegan journey and this store is our best discovery.From the amazing friendly atmosphere to getting everything we need. Also being educated on the benefits of the foods and the different lifestyle. It is the best Indian market... I will never go anywhere else.

I really enjoyed shopping here. It’s a great place to pick up whole spices, basmati rice, sunflower oil in large quantities, and I quite liked the Indian yogurt they sell. The store is clean and well organized and the staff is very friendly. I need to come back soon.

The guy at the grocery store was very friendly and helped a lot in finding the items in the aisles. The store had lot of Diwali sale items truly on sale and had good stock. It will be nice if the store had an automatic door instead of a manual pull/push door so that I can take cart without anyones help.

Before the Indian Bazaar opened up I had to travel very far to get high quality South Asian produce and spices. The store is spacious, clean, and has a wide range of products. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My experience here has always been pleasant and I recommend anyone looking for produce, dairy and frozen, health and beauty, beverages, snacks, and miscellaneous household items from the South Asia region to come check this place out. Its a godsend!

This store is really for Indians amazing spot to shop....really

A manager type was at the front of the store without a mask and hanging out with a small group of others, all but one without face coverings. A staffers mask so didnt cover the nose it was probably marginally useful of that.Its a nice big store with great variety, but I will shop elsewhere until management demonstrates it honors the science of face coverings as a vital layer of protection from contagious exhaled droplets in the air.

Great place. Very clean with lots of items I havent found in other stores. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have remained open for our community and offer many services to help out during this pandemic n are always cleaning n protecting themselves n their customers during these trying times.

Great service! Nick and others are very humble and provide excellent customer service. They also have great variety of Indian food and fresh vegetables. We practically get all vegetables from here now instead of going to food lion which is much closer to our house.

Indian bazaar at Claymont is the best grocery store in the Philadelphia-Wilmington area. They always have super fresh vegetables and fruits and carry all types of items including snacks, daals and all Indian kitchen items. I could find all the products there and it’s a one stop shop. The people there are very friendly and take proper care of customers. They make sure to address any concerns, if any from the customers. One of the best Indian grocery stores I have ever been to. The store is very spacious, clean and you can find almost everything you want from fresh vegetables to Indian spices etc. The owner Nick is very friendly and very welcoming. Kelly is also amazing. Best place that sells all sorts of Indian items.

This is a nice spacious store, contrary to what you would presume looking from the outside. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. You can find most food items; some produce and others are missing but apparently produce is brought in every week and they take suggestions. Prices are on par with other stores in the area for the most part. It would be nice to have a rewards program.

One of the best Indian grocery stores I have ever been to. The owner brothers are very friendly and help you find everything. In case item you are looking for isnt available, they order it for you and call you back. They also provide pickup service in nearby areas for people who may not have a vehicle. All in all, a great store.

For Indian groceries, I have found a perfect store! I have been meaning to write a review for a long time now. Nik is friendly and courteous. Whenever I need specific items, if I mention the details, he makes sure that he adds the items to his procurement list. During the COVID-19 situation, he also helped in many ways by providing WhatsApp updates in a group whenever vegetables and other supplies are available.I love the store. It is always fresh, clean, adequately stocked and easy to navigate. The staff, especially Kelly is polite and helpful.Recently, they have gone the extra mile in helping the local residents in following social distancing norms at the store.Thank you Indian Bazaar! Nice to have an India store close to north side of Wilmington . Staff are friendly and easy going in nature. Nick n AJ are fun loving persons and helpful too. The store has full of Indian grocery stock at competitive price . They have recently have a halal store attached there . That’s an add on for Indian grocery shopping .

Best Grocery store in Delaware for Indian groceries plus other staples. I believe the guy that left the bad review about the expiration dates is close to the owner of Everest Grocery. Indian bazaar just opened and I have never found anything past or near the expiration. Date.... while I definitely have at Everest. Don’t get me wrong, I like Everest’s restaurant but even they don’t have as many options as displayed on the menu. Indian Bazaar is clean organized and service is impeccable.... more than I can say for anywhere else

Add to it, we have observed moth and worms in rice and cereals.Prior review in 2018Walked in little less than a week after opening. Considerably large and had most of the items that i normally shop. Our family loves this large store (tucked in right next to the Dunkin Donuts across from the firehouse on Philly Pike in Claymont). We originally checked it out hoping for a good selection of vegetarian and vegan food choices, which they do indeed have. We have since added a whole new variety of wonderful foods to our dinner and snack choices.Service is outstanding! How wonderful to have a caring, attentive, helpful proprietor on site. It makes all the difference. Caring and outstanding service is so rare in most stores in this day and age. It makes this store special to us. We will always be regulars here and constantly recommend it to all of our friends.

The owner is really nice. Always check if you need any help and recommend products. They have different types of options and quality is good. Only thing, it needs better arrangement. I came here for the first time since I moved from Jersey. I’ve been to other indian grocery stores in DE but none compared to this one ! The prices were affordable and on top the moment I stepped foot into the store, Nick helped me and my mom with every single thing we needed and even placed items in the cart ! Finally Humanity at its best ! I never would’ve expected this much gracefulness and respect at a desi grocery store. My mom can not see very well and Nick helped her with the exact detail of what type of kind of subcategory item she needed, wow ! Amazed, never in my entire life have I seen this much personalized treatment ! Store is very polished, organized, and OPEN SPACE 💯 I can move without being pushed around 👏🏼 space is key 🔑Nick has done a great job here, it’s rare to see this type of store ! Loved the course at Haneeda’s kitchen and had to share our success story trying it at home. Chicken tikka masala naan and mango lassi. I may be biased but I feel it was better than 95% of indian restaurants we’ve been to. Also thanks to Indiana bazaar on Philadelphia pike. Haneeda said we could like get everything at wegmans, but that was definitely not the case. I’m certainly not an expert, but indian bazaar had everything I needed for sure, and it looks small on the outside but the inside is huge and the people were so helpful, even keeping my recipes for me after I’d foolishly left them behind. Highly recommend both Haneeda and Indian bazaar.
