The Pilsen tailor shop that I use to patronize closed down during the first year of the pandemic. I had new jeans that needed to be hemmed, so I began to search for a professional and reasonably priced tailor shop for my alterations. My search brought me to this business. When I stepped into the shop I was warmly greeted. One of the staff had me try on my jeans in one of their changing rooms before they were pinned where the hem was to be made. I was then given a price, which was extremely reasonable. After my information was taken and I was given a ticket receipt, I was told my jeans would be ready in two days. Well, my jeans were ready for pick up in one day. Arriving once again at the shop I was asked if I wanted to try on my jeans to make sure everything was to my liking, which I did. My four jeans were hemmed at the correct measurements, and the stitching was straight and strong. I am extremely satisfied with their work here, and the staff are professional and very nice people. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Great for alterations! I had my wedding dress altered here and they were fairly priced and returned it very quick! Most places were going to take 8 weeks they only took 2 weeks and they did a great job

All I can say Abel de Valente is a 5 star business. I never leave reviews, but I had to for this one. The atmosphere gives you a family feel at the moment you walk in. Everyone speaks to you and they make sure you get exactly what you need. I went in thinking I has at least a 30$ repair and was charged far less than that and they were done the next day. Top tier service and atmosphere. Definitely go again for all my alteration and repair needs.

Best alteration experience ever!!!! They totally nailed it on the first try!!! For years Ive been struggling to find someone to do my alterations before finding Abel De Valente other alteration places either they say it cant be done or if they do I come back for numerous fittings with several weeks wait times in between. My experience here at Abel De Valente was a dream come true. Super kind super welcoming super eager and enthusiastic to take on my projects even though I had been told no by other alteration places. And then it got even better 48 hours later I got a phone call checking in saying everything was to be done soon. I came to pick it up they nailed it on the first try-- no additional fittings needed absolutely perfect!! I have found my new favorite place I cant wait to bring more clothes for them to alter!!! They really bring a fresh creative approach I think the reason the other places said no to my projects is they just didnt have the skills. Abel De Valente definitely has the skills and talent. And they are seriously the sweetest kindest people!!!! Totally worth the 30 minute drive! I actually would have drove even further because they did such an amazing job!!! If you haven’t been here to get your dress shirts or suits or anything tailored you are definitely missing out.They are great and quick, if you need a suit tailored they will customize it anyway you want.Will definitely bring other suits in the future. This place is wonderful! They are very attentive and friendly. I brought a dress to be altered from the hem and shoulder straps. They did a wonderful job and had it ready right on time. My daughter needed a dress tailored for prom. They did it in less than one week. When we went back to pick it up they made sure we were happy with the changes. Everyone is very friendly. We were so happy we went back to get another dress fixed. We also like the merchandise in the store.

I went here once so far and they did an excellent job. I took a dress in for alterations that I planned to use for a wedding. I had previously went to another shop where the owner said they couldn’t do anything to the dress because of the material (lace). However, when I went to this location they saw the dress, took my measurements, and said they could do it. I got it back in 2 days! I definitely plan to go back. The work they did was great and they were very nice.

I went to here for the first time and I am glad I did. My suit now makes me look tens times better than before.
