Nicole has an unbelievable selection. She has a great sense about her...she can look at you and start pulling just the right hat or fascinator. Every size, color and style imaginable. The hats are absolutely beautiful on her website, but seeing them in person they are even more amazing! She was so very helpful!

PLEASE READ!I live in Seattle and I needed a Kentucky derby hat for an event that was in less that a week. I think I looked at every possible website out there and Gold Coast Couture had, by far, the most stunningly gorgeous hats available in the U.S.I decided on one I thought would be perfect. Nicole, the owner, sent it out from her boutique in Chicago the next day and copied me with the tracking number. Unfortunately, UPS dropped the ball and had the hat sitting on a truck somewhere for 3 days and said that now the hat would not be arriving until the Monday after my Saturday event. Nicole tried to get the hat overnighted from where it sat but by then they had loaded it onto a train, so it was too late. She told me she was going to get a hat to me for my event one way or another! She asked me to look online and choose a back-up while she went through boxes of new inventory to see if I might like anything in there. We emailed back and forth and spoke on the phone trying to narrow down the best option to go with my dress. She really took her time with me, helping me when I was having a hard time making my decision. Once that was done, it was the very end of the day Friday and amazingly, by Saturday morning I had my replacement hat, at absolutely no additional cost to me - shipping or otherwise. I wore the hat to my event and got a ton of compliments from friends and complete strangers. The hat was stunning. Monday, my original hat arrived and it was gorgeous, too. Nicole said for me (very genuinely) not to worry in the least about her not being able to sell a hat that has been worn and to just choose whichever hat I liked best and send her back the other one. It just so happens that the replacement hat fit my head better than the one I had originally ordered anyway so I kept it. This whole experience actually worked out beautifully for me. It would have been quite a disaster if Nicole didnt go above and beyond with her customer service excellence being that it was not Nicoles responsibility to clean up UPS mess. I have never written a review for anyone before. The time and effort Nicole invested in my situation definitely called for it. I would recommend Gold Coast Couture to anyone looking for a spectacular, one of a kind hat.
