This place is incredible and amazing - I highly recommend. There is so much merchandise that’s beautifully coordinated. It’s honestly a lot to take in all at once! Everything sold here is extremely high end - you can tell by the accompanying expensive prices assigned to each piece. Regardless of the high price points, you need to stop in and just check it out. And definitely keep it in mind if you have a larger budget and want to decorate your home with very high end vintage pieces!!

This place is crowded with a bunch of fantastic items. I knew going there, that it was not my style or within my budget. But I still wanted to view the collection.I am no designer, collector, or decor expert. So I really didnt know what I was looking at from that perspective. I just like to see new and interesting things. If you are in the market for some fancy accent pieces, or looking to add to your unique style. Go check them out!

I worked with Anastasia remotely and purchased some beautiful coffee tables for delivery in Texas. Really appreciated the layaway service and they even re-stained the wood to match my couch and armchair. The pieces look beautiful and I’d highly recommend them!

This place is epic. Few vintage stores transport you back to a time and place like Vintage Grindhouse. Walking around this store is so atmospheric and they seem like they have done a lot of work to really dress each corner of the store with antiques and furniture that compliment one another. I highly recommend visiting this store if you are in Albany Park! A sidenote is that they have a lot of MCM lamps (and credenzas, cabinets, chairs...) in nice condition. In my experience these are hard to find, especially in an abundance such as VGs stock.

Excellent Customer Service. High Quality Home Furnishings and Decor, all reasonably priced depending on your taste but one thing for sure is there is definitely something for everyone. Eclectic is an understatement but it all seems to work. Victorian combined with French Provincial add some Mid Century Modern, with a twist of Old Hollywood Regency and an ornate Louis piece, you have been Grind Housed!! Mix it up is their motto and it works.

Its definitely not your average resale shop thats for sure. This is more like an interior design shop . If I had just bought a new home, I would be able to furnish the whole thing in one day with Vintage Grindhouse designs. Its all laid out for you down to the custom made pillows - all done in house. They are a friendly talented group and the place is truly a pleasant surprise. Welcome to the neighborhood...What the heck took you guys so long???

What an amazing treasure trove of beautifully restored vintage furniture and accessories. Im usually not an impulse buyer, but a pair of Adrian Pearsall mid-century modern chairs---beautifully restored with new springs and high-end fabric---caught my eye and I had to have them.Anastasia and her crew were able to have them delivered the very same day. They are gorgeous. Anastasia and her husband clearly have an amazing eye for terrific finds.I will definitely be back -- although clearly this place will be dangerous for me as I live within walking distance. Cant recommend highly enough!!

Purchased a great G-Plan teak buffet / credenza here. It was a bit of a drive for me but well worth the trip. It was exactly as described and pictured and the purchase process was smooth and worry free. Staff was super friendly and helpful in every way. They wrapped it and even gave me the blankets. Robert, who put it in my truck said Dont worry, youll be back and I will shop here again and be back for sure.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Its an escape from reality, ask the owner everytime I walk in, Can I live here? It really makes me want to empty my entire house and I can probably refurnish it in one day at Vintage Grindhouse, down to the plates and silverware. I call it a Secret Treasure as f I found an old pirates treasure map and it led me to this place.

Vintage Wonderland!!!! I came from the burbs in a snow storm because I had to see with my own eyes what my Designer Colleagues were fussing about. It was sure worth the trip and boy it delivered!! Everything they told me and more! In fact they understated what to expect. I mean, OK, another vintage warehouse in the city, exactly what the city needs like there isnt enough piles to rummage through at the already saturated resale shops in Chicago...I hate to admit it, Jennifer, you were right, grrr!!, this place is Special. I could have spent hours in there. It was a Vintage Wonderland!! The owners are a sweet couple, with lots of ideas and they are making it happen. What I was most surprised by was how new the business was, open to the public since April, barely a year and I think they will be around for a while, with a lot more surprises up their sleeves. A Vintage Coffee Lounge in the works and Event Space which I think will be a big hit for them. I didnt want to leave! Would love attending a party there. Quality refinished and refurbished pieces and tastefully done and reasonably priced. As a designer I am constantly looking for bare bones cause Im mostly creating my specifications but some of this stuff works and I can definitely work with and around some of these pieces. I asked the owner why not leave the pieces as is to be customized for us designers and he quickly responded if someone can afford an Interior Designer than whats a few extra bucks to change the color. Something for everyone in this Grind House and owners Joe and Anastasia seem to have a secret recipe. I may not have purchased anything but I sure didnt want to leave and I definitely cant wait to go back.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Theyre dishonest, conniving thieves! I put some items on lay away and was making very large monthly payments, like 2,500-3,000 per month payments. Then, life happened and I got hurt on the job. I was about 3 weeks late making a payment and they abruptly told me that my account had been cancelled, items I was paying on had been relisted and refused to give me any type of refund. They even refused to give me any of the items I already had paid off. All in all, I spent almost 6,000$ with these people, only to have them steal every dime of it.......3/10/2021........Fact remains, you still have every dime and I have nothing I paid for, even now 3 years later....Thats called thievery.

Albany Park is on the rise..and its feelin good..when you have chic places like this opening in old mechanic shops and a variety of 5 different excellent ethnic restaurants, a new hip Pool Hall and a Brewery within a 2 block radius, Im confidient Albany Park has turned the corner...It used to be when you seen a Starbucks opening, but Starbucks is a dinosaur in this neighborhood...Welcome to Albany Park- Chicagos New Hot Spot!!!Excellent Customer Service, High Quality Home Furnishings and Decor, all reasonably Priced depending on your taste but one thing for sure is there is definitely something for everyone. I am obsessed with Vintage GrindHouse! To be perfectly honest, when first looking through their ebay store, I thought that it may be a scam. I figured it was too good to be true! But I have purchased a Russel Wright dresser along with a Milo Baughman table and chairs set & I assure you that the good prices, the quality conditions of the products, the excellent and fairly priced shipping, along with the personal love and care from the owner, Anastasia is all TRUE. I could not be more happy with my investments and look forward to ordering more items from them soon! I dont typically write reviews, but this one was truly worth my time. Hope you feel the same way too! Vintage Grindhouse ROCKS!!

Found out about Grindhouse through a friend. She shared their photos they take in the warehouse, and decided I would head to Albany Park to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised that they have a large inventory that is much bigger than what they can display online. Its really worth checking out. The prices are affordable for high quality pieces. The friend who I went with kept reiterating how impressed he was with the design and quality of the materials of most of the pieces. Its true, they have one of a kind quality furniture-- Eames chairs, Kagen and Pearsall sofas, Knoll tables, even late 1800s Eastlake armoires and much more. I was a little disappointed in their bed frame selection really not much of one but Im just being critical everything else more than made up for it. I went home without buying anything because I needed to consult with my roommate. I then purchased a set of 4 Plycraft Blue Velvet upholstered Bent Plywood dining chairs online and went back to pick them up in store. There was a bug in the online system and my payment didnt go through but the owners took care of it right away and even gave me a discount. We got all 4 of the Bent Plywood Plycraft chairs for less than $450 including taxes! I have been searching for these Chairs since we moved in never seeing them for less than $800 bucks for the set !! Overall, it was an amazing experience!!
