Rock Creek never misses. Its obviously very pricy but the quality is what youre paying for. I bought the best pair of shorts Ive ever had here. The discount rack is also something 5o keep in mind if you want great clothes at a discount.

Usually have a good experience at the Rock Creek near Hamilton Place. Not sure if it’s because I didn’t appear “earthy” enough, but wasn’t greeted by anyone and wasn’t ever asked if I needed help. There were maybe 4 other shoppers in the store.

Everytime I go in I am immediately greeted and given help if it is needed. My grandmother frequently buys presents here and it is always nice to see how helpful the staff is with her when I get to go with her. I appreciate that someone will take the time to work with her and does not get tired of her as she tries to remember what her email is.

Staff is always helpful and friendly. Great products. Get a membership.

This place has an awesome collection of outdoor clothes/gear. I love their Patagonia and Arcteryx selection and the employees are super helpful!

Good place to shop for hiking, climbing, camping or fishing apparel and they also have some equipment for the outdoors. Their prices are comparable with other similar type stores in this area.

Me and my buddy walked in looking for ropes and stuff for caving. We were promptly greeted so off to a good start. When we got to the counter with the climbing gear the gentleman with gray hair gave us wrong information on what we needed and said he would go look in the system for what he could order for us. Dude left us there standing for 20 minutes and when we walked past him to head out he said nothing and carried on with a other customer. Legit gonna shoo somewhere else from here on out

Probably one of my favorite outdoor stores Ive been to. Of the 10+ times Ive been here the staff has always gone out of their way to help explain the products and make sure I find exactly what I am looking for. They have always taken time to show me around and compare similar products and have answered literally every question Ive asked them. One thing that makes this store unique compared to a lot of outdoor stores is that the staff actively uses the gear they sell, everyone Ive talked to has some hands on experience or at least known someone with that gear and can offer an unbiased review of the product. Only downside is a lot of the products are at full-price. If youre looking for a good deal ask them about their end of season sales and plan to come in to get some good deals then. Overall this place has been a lifesaver!

Huge selection of goods from apparel, to climbing and hiking gear, they have most of your outdoor bases covered. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Conveniently located.Prices can be a little high, especially for certain brands, but there’s not many other options around and there’s definitely none with the section that they offer. And they routinely run sales.They also sponsor and put on a lot of local events and such and are just generally very active in the community.There’s a reason nearly everyone in Chattanooga owns a pair of Chacos.

Amazing customer service‼️😍 I went in this weekend looking for a new pair of Chacos. Didn’t find the color in my style, however, Jacob was so nice to educate me on the differences in the foot beds and suggest the possibility of even customizing my style choice with my preferred foot bed on the Chaco website. He even took the time to get a couple different styles in my size that were not my color choice so I could be sure of my style preference before I ordered online! And this was while he was also taking care of other customers, too! He knew I wasn’t buying from his store that day, yet took the time to still help me find just what I needed to order. That just doesn’t happen everywhere I go these days, and I wanted to say THANK YOU, Rock Creek💜. I am so happy you call Chattanooga home! We love your stores, both North Shore and Hamilton Place and feel so appreciative when treated like family as Jacob treated me today!

My husband and I went shopping here. He got some desert boots and I got some Merrell hiking shoes. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

BEWARE! If you pay cash for an item over $20 and you have to return it, you will not receive a cash refund. They will only refund you with a check that you will have to wait 7-10 business days to receive in the mail. Which is ridiculous! I returned a $140 item and was told they dont keep enough money in the store to refund cash. For years Rock Creek has been the only outfitter in town and thankfully thats about to change. I cant wait for REI to open in October!!!!!!! When they do, I doubt Ill ever step foot back in Rock Creek again.

What a beautiful place this was enjoyed walking the streets and shopping the small boutiques. Most other boutiques were dog friendly.

Overpriced, overpriced, overpriced. I’d go to REI first. This place attempts to be an outdoor boutique. This isn’t for folks that actually do outdoor activities. This is hiking & kayaking folks, not a competition for who spent the most money on their Patagonia jacket.
