This past summer while remodeling a house we determined that our 10 year old windows had broken seals requiring that the insulated glass be replaced. We contacted Binswanger Glass in Chattanooga, TN. What a pleasant experience! They were friendly and very customer focus. In order to save money on this project, we were able to take the window frames to Binswanger for measurement and later for glass installation. The work was done faster than we anticipated. The work was very professional and the windows look new. I highly recommend Binswanger Glass. Their product line is extensive and worth investigating. I will probably purchase my new shower doors from them. They also provide service calls if you do not want to take your windows to their store.

Carried a storm window there to replace broken glass. This was the most unprofessional window repair I have ever seen. Sloppy work. Used silicone to put a rubber gasket in which was not needed probably because he damaged the gasket.Else! In fact the silicone was smeared all over the window frame and glass. Did not get the corners back tight and it will not fit back in the frame. This job literally looked like something a kid did trying to cover up a broken window! Charged me $48.00 for work that I will either have to see if some can correct or have the window remade. If you need work done go somewhere else!

The only reason I’m making this review is because of the rude person that I guess answers the phone I was calling to cancel and not only did she make me feel like I was difficult she just continued to tell me how I had just made their day messed up and had no customer service experience it seemed like. I’ve worked at restaurants and gas stations and the people there were more professional and not as rude and degrading. Will never go back to this place just Bc of the first impression of how rude she was Bc I needed to cancel

My cars back window got shot with a BB gun Sunday. Monday i called at around 12, I got there around 12:45 pm and left with my car fixed at around 2:30 pm. The process was so easy and stressless. Great service, thank you!

During a recent move from out of state, my china cabinet side glass was broken. Went to the home improvement stores and they pointed me to Binswanger Glass on Amnicola Highway.The folks there were super nice and Chris took me into the shop, right away. Less than 10 minutes later, I had a perfect duplicate of the glass that was broken, all without any additional wait or drama. As the owner of Wood With Heart, Shannon, I have purchased mirrors for my artwork from Binswanger for almost 8 years now and they are wonderful! They go above and beyond to cut the mirror exactly as needed to fit the frame, even when my routed edge isnt the best! I have NEVER found a better glass company! This is a great company and wonderful people to deal with! I was in an accident yesterday and my back glass busted out and was getting rained it. This is the ONLY place that was willing to do a crash wrap for me. Not only that but they did it for free and were extremely nice about it! Also, they had the BEST PRICES on glass. Everyone else was close to $300 to get it replaced and they are going to be doing it for me for less than $250 including installation. Not to mention they are going to COME TO ME to replace it so I don’t have to get my children out. Seriously, such an amazing place and we are so fortunate to have found them. Great people and even better prices!

Terrible experience with Jerry the actual service tech. I had a quote for 80.00 to remove and discard old windshield and install used windshield with genuine manufacturer part seal, I provided both the windshield and the seal and was left a printed invoice with the 80.00 marked through by Jerry and a hand written 200.00. I called and spoke with Taylor at the office explaining my issue and she assured me I would be charged what I was quoted, 80.00. Two weeks after the work was done 120.00 was charged from Binswanger... I highly suggest you use pretty much anyone else as this was an hour job max with absolutely no parts supplied by Binswanger. Jerry didnt even clean the seal area around the seal when he removed it. Last I checked thats part of the job. Also, Jerry did a fantastic job of cutting into my trim around the windshield. Thanks a lot Douche... I will personally drive over to the office in the morning. If nothing is resolved my review will remain. If there is progress, I will report accordingly.

Had to get a chip in my windshield fixed, and got sent to Binswanger. Everyone was helpful and up front about the work. I was in and out in about an hour. I’d recommend for windshield repair.

I had work done on plexiglass. They paid no attention to the original instructions which was to cut the holes 7 inches down. Instead they cut 2 inches. They then attempted to charge me $80 for a service when we agreed on a much different price. They dropped it to the original price of $34 after complaining. Still able to salvage the piece I asked that they cut two more holes. They definitely did that however took no care in making sure the holes were even or lined up. Sloppy job, took over a week l. Wouldnt recommend these guys to anyone wanting quality work

Binswanger did a great job replacing the double-pane glass in my window for a fair price. The office staff were very friendly and did a great job taking care of me. Unfortunately, due to another break-in, theyll get my business again...

Jerry came out and replaced the windshield on my old land cruiser and it was a beast of a job due to a prior install done incorrectly. He took the time to get it done right and had a great attitude. Couldn’t be happier.

Crash wrapped our car when our back windshield broke while raining and did an amazing job, very quickly. We made an appointment to get the glass replaced the following Monday, they called the next day and came out to my house and replaced it 3 days early. Best prices in town, and best quality of work.

Horrible. Made an appointment never showed. called to find out what happened, they said there was no information that anyone had scheduled anything. Made another appointment. The estimator came out did the measurements for multiple enclosures, said he would get back to me with quote, never heard from them. I went down to the office again to see what happened. One of the two women in the office preceded to tell me that there was only an order to call an schedule an appointment to come out and that there wasnt any information that anyone had ever called or came out. Then she precedes to tell me that what SHE thinks happened is that I must have called another company and they were the ones that came out. SHE made their screw ups my fault. I asked if the estimator could give me a call? She didnt have any idea when he would call, she said he makes his own schedule, we never have any idea.......You can bet this time I will be calling someone else. How do you have a company with a total lack of any knowledge of professional etiquette.

I recently had 4 mirrors cut for our travel trailer and am extremely satisfied with the the service that I experienced with Binswanger Glass.Paul greeted me at the front desk and directed me to the service department to talk to Chris the technician.Chris did a great job and I highly recommend Binswanger for glass or mirrors.

This review is purely customer service related. I cancelled my appointment before I ever interacted with the technicians; they may and probably are great. The negative and low star review are for the cranky and impatient attitude I received on the phone when calling to make an appointment.The woman who took my call may have been having a bad day, but she made me feel ignorant and like a child.If half of your satisfaction with a business is your experience communicating with people, then this place is not the one for you.

I have had two dealings with Binswanger, once when a rock hit my window and today when thieves broke out my window. Both times they came out to my house to fix the window. Both times the service tech who came out was Jerry. He was professional and kind both times he came out.Today he mentioned that when the glass had been broken out by the thieves that the plastic part that allows the door to open from the inside had been broken when the thieves broke the window. I was able to report this to my insurance company to get it taken care of, but if he hadnt mentioned it I wouldnt have realized that was why my door handle wasnt working.I am very happy to recommend them to anyone looking to get their window glass replaced. Ask them to send Jerry and he will get the job done right!

Safelite refused to replace my windshield with some story about potential damage underneath the seal, that theyd have to sand and primer it when they took it out and it needed to go to a body shop for a new windshield. (They still charged me for a home visit even though they never touched my truck.)I went to Binswanger, told them the story and asked if they could replace the windshield on my old truck. No problem. No body shop. No runaround and no charges for a job they refused to do.I just drove the truck home with a new windshield and paid less than Safelite quoted to do it.

I have ordered custom glass from this company on numerous occasions and they have always been great to work with.

Charged me way more for 4 panes of glass for a bar that I got a year ago. I understand a little price rise but that much? Come on now.Edit: she called me and made it some what right so i raised it to 4 stars instead of one.
